Ok, this might be a long shot, but I’m gonna ask anyway…I am taking Meds. for TB, even though I don’t really have it, but I have all the symptoms. In November of 2006 had a CT Scan that showed only 2-3mm nodules, now about 2 weeks ago had an X-ray done and found a millary of nodules. I’m a smoker and I am 31yrs. old, I have a history of lung cancer on my Father’s side, and High Blood Pressure on my Mother’s side. Now going in Monday for another CT Scan, to see how bad it is. I’m having tightness in my chest and trouble breathing. I’ve been on Amoxillian, Albuterol, and Mucinex D, but nothing seems to help. I’m still smoking but I’ve cut back alot, and I just started the TB medicine. What I’m wondering is; if its Lung Cancer, will the TB medication help it out at all? Or if anyone else could help me, in figuring out what it could be, please help me. I also have a problem with Panic Attacks, and Anxiety, but I’m trying to over come that. Please can anyone help me?
Well, I really have no cough, and no red spots coming up with phlem. I do however, have alot of chest tightness, and pressure right in the middle of my chest. There’s pain and pressure behind my breastbone. I have really bad panic attacks especially at night, feeling like I can’t breath, and my heart races, but thats probably because of my panic attacks. I’m down to only like 5 or 6 cigarettes a day. On the left side of my ribs I usually get a sharp stabbing pain down towards where my elbow ends, when my hands are place to my side. I’m not sure what other information you need, but please let me know as soon as possible.
Well, I still think its just my panic attacks getting the best of me. Heart beating fast, and I try so hard to calm down. I’m still getting my CT Scan on Monday, so hopefully I will find what it is.

My husband and I have a 20 month old son, and he told me the other day he wants to have another child but for our children not to be more than three years apart (our son turns two in March). I was excited about it because I have been wanting another child ever since ours started walking. But on the other hand I am scared. First of all, I am afraid of the pain my first pregnancy was induced then I had a cesarean because of high blood pressure. I can think about the pulling on my skin to take the baby out, the gagging because of anaesthsia, the spinal tap which hurt bad, and all the pain from the surgery and feel nautious. Another thing was postpartum depression I stayed depressed for several months and eventually got over it. The feedings, from formula to solids, breaking bottles again, potty training it all seems so complicated even though I have done it. On the other hand my son is perfectly healthy, gorgeous, and I don’t want to regret later not having anymore children. Advice?
There’s no daycare or anything I am a stay at home mom, in one sense I really want another child because I see other babies and get excited thinking about pregnancy all over, but on the other hand I am scared out of my mind about the surgery mostly.
I am considering getting a life insurance policy through State Farm where they have different rates depending on the results of a physical that must be performed. The agent is not able to tell me but I would like to know what the criteria is for qualifying for the preferred and super preferred rates.
BMI? (body mass index)
blood pressure?
cholesterol level?
My objective is to find out if I qualify now and if not but am close I could work on improving my health over the next few months through diet and exercise.
I realize that the criteria will vary based on age, sex, height, etc. but there must be some table, chart or formula they use to determine what rate you qualify for.

What’s the extant of the research on Diabetes? Cancer?
How much money is being donated daily, monthly, quarterly, annually, and per decade.
How many people are currently researching Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimer’s, AIDS or HIV, High Blood Pressure, ADHD, Bipolar, Etc? If you are, then just say yes, and where your lab is and what you are researching and any breakthroughs or near breakthroughs you are willing to share, I will count how many yes responses there are.
How close is the cure for Cancer and Diabetes?
Don’t you think the people studying telomeres for ageism should talk to the people researching Cancer?
Which of these illnesses, diseases, syndrome, disorders, viruses, etc will be cured this year, in the next 5 years, in the next 10 years, in the next 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, or 50+ years from now? Or has no chance to be cured, or has no reason?
Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimer’s, AIDS or HIV, High Blood Pressure, ADHD, Bipolar, The common Cold, Influenza any, H1N1, Appendicitis, Acne, Tai-Sachs, Schizophrenia, Other STD’s, Shingles(hated it), Chicken Pox (can that be deadly??? I don’t think so) Cerebral Palsy , I can’t think of more now but say if there is a new thing with something important
I don’t think ADHD is worth curing but needs to be understood more deeply.
I do have other neurological diseases listed and the same should go for them.
I did just see on discovery that there is a gene that has blocking effects on diseases such as AIDS and The Bubonic Plague disease whatever that’s called, I think its D 32 I don’t remember.
I told the dentist I have high blood pressure. Wants a doctor to okay pulling my tooth.
I recently went to my doctor and was diagnosed with blood pressure and high/bad cholesterol levels. He also advised me that if I didn’t do anything about it, my heart would severely get worse. Now I know what you must be thinking…"Some fat guy with a poor diet and exercises very little, if any at all." This could not be farther from the truth. I am barley in my 30’s, 74" tall, and weigh 210 pounds. My doctor prescribed medication for both the blood pressure and cholesterol; however he told me that it was ok to take OTC vitamins to help.
My question to you all is this: "Am I taking too much of the vitamins below?" This is what I am currently taking:
Morning time / 6:00am
Fish Oil 2400 mg
Vitamin D 1000 i.u.
Super B-Complex (1 tablet)
Night time / 6:00pm
Fish Oil 2400 mg
Vitamin D 1000 i.u.
Super B-Complex (1 tablet)
"One a day" Men’s Health Formula, vitamin (1 tablet)
I am currently pondering the idea of adding a low dose of Niacin into the regiment. Maybe 100mg a day and night…that is if I can withstand the flush effect.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
My tears keep running. I can’t stop crying. I found a stray dog and kept the dog for a month. Well, the dog has severe heartworms. We took him to the vet and they said he was going to die and should put him to sleep. However, I sad is there anything we can do to save his life. The vet suggested giving him med such as high blood pressure med, heart disease, and antibiotics. The dog was on the med for about 1 1/2 weeks. There is no progress. Well, today the dog had trouble breathing and had a temperature of 93. We rushed our dog to the vet and suggested from a different vet to put him to sleep. I feel sooooooo guilty that I gave up. I didnt want to see him suffer. I do not know if that was the right thing or not. I know my question is a bit late, but I am curious if there is a cure. I was told by 3 vets that the answer was no. I pray that Chico is in a better place and God is taken care of him.
Blurred Vision Of Misguided Souls
By: Gravity ( feat. Ashley Meyer )
(Verse 1) – Gravity
Blurred vision and slurred wisdom, make for misguided souls,
So herbs should listen to words given, and make a flight so bold.
to strike and mold when fights unfold to mic and behold,
words unheared to so many people because im white and bold,
this abortion is commonplace, the day of rage, we follow pace,
through night and rainy day, another life put to waste as we chase,
a new type of pride in a "mortal" taste put murderers away,
look me in the eyes stand face to face then judge me by my race,
wasted bodies will always stay, abusing kids rid of confusion,
slicing a wrist and dripping blood is not option or solution,
why would hurting more make you feel like you are content
wrist with cut marks and sores represent your torment,
and killing off an unborn kid is wrong they never had a chance,
you take away a life thats still in your hands how do you advance,
how do you look in the mirror and even stand your own glance,
knowing your a murderer do you just forget then expand,
[Hook] – Ashley Meyer
I know the world is in dispare
so many tears have been shed
we all cant help, but cry once in a while
so just rest your head,
REPEAT
(Verse 2) – Gravity
Past is blurry, present a constant worry, echoes have heard me,
The feel of rush and hurry, the noble became unworthy,
Life flashes before your ashes to assume the right to pass with,
people you love so there can be less pain, controversy and havic,
imagine, a day when inhuman ways are illegal you can smile,
go for more then a year without sheading a tear over vile,
acts of people who have no concern to anything worthwile,
open your eyes yesterday somebody raped an 18 month child,
"But the man was abused as a child and confused as a teen",
"insanity is acceptable he would normally never hurt a thing",
but I think we have a tendency to blame the gun not the finger,
blame and be responsible for actions of the pressure on that trigger,
there is always an accuse though he will recieve his media glory,
people will feel sorry for the man when they hear his story,
knowing damn well he is a rapist in a feeble minded evil,
put him on death row, and yet still sterilise the needle?
[Hook] – Ashley Meyer
I know the world is in dispare
so many tears have been shed
we all cant help, but cry once in a while
so just rest your head,
REPEAT
(Verse 3) – Gravity
im itchen and I rap for you but I dont want your attention,
I am just inchen to say what you fucking hesitate to mention,
what they call these times in america is the "divorce revolution",
trying to pawn it off as an evolution is sick we need a resolution,
steady displacement of a marriage culture by a culture,
so the kids convince themeselves when they marry it will falter,
creating a terrible hardship for children across this world,
tragic for males but yet deathly depressing to the girls,
Its like a world war of evil, everyman for themself, because,
We can try, we can fight, it seems thats what everyone else does.
and the worst thing was that life itself shouldnt just suck,
that things with held from us are the things nobody tells us,
Poisoned minds, the whole time, that much is crystal clear,
Compiling formulas of data banks, attract lust and fear,
thrugh the life of new night comes new goals that appear,
like pain isnt a struggle its an everyday rutine every single year
[Hook] – Ashley Meyer
I know the world is in dispare
so many tears have been shed
we all cant help, but cry once in a while
so just rest your head,
Are there any teas that help?
Last year my mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer. She already has diabetes and MS. The thought of any of her ailments being inherited to me or any of my four children was terrifying.
I did much research, and finally found something that truly made sense to me. RAW food. I have been enjoying the benefits from it for some time, and am now enjoying living with alkaline blood. My husband is mostly raw, and loves everything I prepare. He still enjoys eating cooked food, dairy and occasionally meat, but 70% of his diet is raw.
My children, ranging from 7-16years are "grossed out" by it. With encouragement, they are consuming less pasteurized dairy products, and eating more greens.
Does anyone know of any steps I can take to further encourage their participation in this lifestyle that has me feeling so good?
Some of you will inevitably attack raw vegan food… but know this… this diet has cured me of gum disease, chronic acne, cluster headaches and high blood pressure… so whatever your argument, make it good… because unless you have been raw, you couldn’t possibly know the true benefits of it.

My blood pressure has been higher than normal lately and the Dr. says its from stress. I hate taking medicine so is there any home remedies that I can try? Thank you!
I HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND HIGH CHOLESTEROL, SO MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED CADUET. I TOOK THIS FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND COMPLAINED ABOUT SORE MUSSLES AND FATIGUE. I WENT BACK AND WAS TOLD TO CONTINUE TAKING THE MEDICATION. I WAS AT A POINT I COULDNT GET OUT OF BED. I LOST MY 6 FIGURE JOB AND NOW UNEMPLOYED. MY NEW DOCTOR SAYS I HAVE THIS DECEASE FROM THE MEDS. NOW WHAT DO I DO? IS THIS DANGEROUS? CAN THIS BE CURED? I CAN’T EVEN WALK THE DOG NOW I’M IN PAIN.
I read this article and it helped me learn what are the ways that fasting can improve someones health. Also on tv the sheik advises anyone with any health problem like high blood pressure ,diabetes, cholestrol to fast even during the fitr days .
1. Attitude About Juice Fasting: One key to juice fasting over water fasting is the ability to prevent ketosis (disrupted carbohydrate metabolism in response to chronic starvation) by continuously providing simple carbohydrates that are used by your body for energy and nutrition to the cells. Some individuals, however, believe that carb overload is the reason why Americans are fat.
2. Attitude about Skipping Meals: One study suggests that skipping a meal occasionally is not all that bad, especially if weight loss is a goal. However, be aware of changes in metabolic rate (see below).
3. Autonomic Nervous System: According to this article, fasting appears to have a normalizing effect on the overall tone of the autonomic nervous system. This normalization decreases possibilities for a number of issues ranging from digestive disturbances to anxiety disorders.
4. Awareness: Fasting can heighten awareness, depending upon the health of the individual, the goal for fasting and the ability to eliminate toxins from the system.
5. Back Pain: Back pains caused by muscular tightness and stress rather than from bone disease or osteoporosis may be alleviated with a lighter diet or juice fasting.
6. Bad Health Habits: In some people, fasting has helped break cravings for alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and some drug addictions.
7. Blood Pressure: Water fasting may correct your high blood pressure to a safe range within two weeks without drugs. This level of pressure can be maintained if the diet is changed rather than going back to old eating habits. This study was conducted in a controlled setting.
8. Cell Proliferation: This study, done on mice, showed that intermittent fasting slowed cell production, which also showed cancer development. Slowing down the rate of cell proliferation essentially buys time for the cells to repair genetic damage that may cause cancer.
9. Cholesterol: One study about a 30-day Muslim fast showed significant decrease in LDL (”bad” cholesterol), total serum cholesterol and serum triglycerides at the end of the fasting period. There also was a significant increase in “good” cholesterol (HDL) that showed at the end of the fast and continued to show for one month after the fast.
10. Chronic cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure: Fasting can reduce triglycerides, atheromas, total cholesterol and may increase HDL levels.
11. Energy Flow: Through this logic, fasting enables the body to slow down to the point where the individual can listen to the body through the mind. This ‘vital force’ is clouded when the body is filled with toxins. However, one study with flies showed that the value of diminished appetite to an animal’s survival may vary with the infecting microbe.
12. Fat Mobilization [PDF]: Fasting may move the body to mobilize fat stores from adipose tissue (the fat under your skin) to consume that fat as energy. Short fasts also may protect proteins in your body with the release of a growth hormone.
13. Heart Health: The day-long, once-a-month fast many Mormons undertake as a part of their faith may help explain the lower rates of coronary artery disease in this population, according to a study presented at the American Heart Assn.’s scientific sessions in Orlando, Florida, in 2007.
14. Homeostasis: Basically, your metabolic equilibrium, or ability to heal, could undergo a change during fasting. When fasting is employed as a therapeutic measure, it changes the playing field for disease and infection. This article quotes Louis Pasteur, “The pathogen is nothing, the terrain is everything” for an argument on why fasting can be used as a cure for injury or disease.
15. Insulin and Blood Sugars: A study from the National Institute on Aging found that skipping meals frequently can help mice maintain healthier glucose and insulin levels. The study provides insight into the possible effect of fasting on glucose metabolism.
16. Life Span: The point behind this list of articles and studies is that caloric reduction, overall, is one way to increase a life span. Lower metabolic rates, slower cell proliferation and less body fat that holds toxic matter all lead to a healthier life. This translates, for many people, into a longer life.
17. Lifestyle: If you want to change your life to feel healthier and more productive, this author believes that fasting provides the pivot for that change.
18. Mental Alertness: When toxins are removed from the lymphatic and blood systems, this change improves mental clarity. Eating less also results in energy conservation, which can be used by the brain for thinking tasks.
19. Metabolism: While many people believe that a fast metabolism is key to weight loss,

I have a friend with hight blood pressure, but she doesn’t suffer from this. She just had a baby and maybe that’s what’s going on. How can she lower it and take her headache away? Home remedies maybe?
So basically, my main character is an extremely obediant high school valedictorian who has a slight case of bulimia. But she doesn’t throw up because she wants to lose weight, she throws up because she sees it as a release from all the pressure in her life. Can you tell me if this passage that I wrote makes sense? (the eating disorder isn’t the main conflict in the story, by the way. It’s just sort of the manifestation of her personal struggle.)
There were days when I honestly feared I was going to die. Somehow all of my stress was going to manifest itself physically and I would have an aneurism, a blood clot, a heart attack, some ridiculous disease I had seen on Discovery Health. My own body was going to expand with all the pressure and useless dates and formulas and I would spontaneously combust. I saw my own life as some kind of horror novel or newspaper headline “The only thing they could find of Caroline Stafford was her over-sized, swollen brain.” I had to empty myself somehow.
The first time was at Thanksgiving dinner when I was eleven. We had all gathered at my grandparents’ house for an exhausting day of playing house. My parents had lectured me incessantly in the car to be on my best behavior and only speak when spoken to, so I sat quietly in a corner reading Little Women while my parents bragged about my college reading level, test scores, and the praise I received from all my teachers. As we sat down to dinner, I didn’t feel hungry, and I had the heady feeling that reading Alcott for a long stretch of time gives you: a content satisfaction and a sad sort of longing.
My grandfather piled my plate with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, ambrosia, green beans, three different kinds of casserole. Just looking at all that food made me queasy, but I ate what was on my plate and sat quietly, as I had been told. When it came time for seconds, I hesitantly opened my mouth to protest, but my mother shot me such a terrifying glance that I immediately quieted. More and more food, seconds, thirds, and then dessert. My stomach felt as if it were about to burst open like the faulty levees of a dam, and all that disgustingly delicious food was going to poison my other organs and burst forth from my pores. I was going to lay dead on the floor, with a half-digested feast all around me, a tragic cornucopia.
When a huge mug of hot chocolate was placed in front of me, with a staggering spire of whipped cream on top, I dutifully drank, imagining the scalding liquid stopping halfway down my esophagus because my stomach was so full. I began to cry and clutch my stomach, which was rumbling in protest like a caged beast.
“Caroline, what’s wrong?” my grandmother’s kind question, along with my father’s annoyed scowl, made me cry even harder. The only response I could manage was to point to my tummy and sniffle helplessly.
My older cousin Angela, who must have been sixteen or seventeen at the time, was designated as my caretaker and we were sent to the bathroom in case of “emergencies”. I had never talked to Angela much, but I still clung to her as my protector in the war that was occurring in my bowels. At first she seemed sympathetic, and stroked my hair as I lay listlessly next to the toilet, the tile cooling my feverish skin. My stomach growled and stretched until I felt certain I was going to die. After about ten minutes I began to sob, not only from the pain but also from the complete lack of development. I would rather have died right there than remained in that tormented limbo, with that gnawing in my core that suggested my own body was eating itself. And still I felt so full, full to the brim, and my stomach ached with so much food.
Eventually, Angela pulled me close to her, put my hair up in a ponytail, opened the toilet seat, and grabbed a toothbrush. She coaxed my mouth open with the orange plastic handle and reached it far back into my throat until I felt it touch the fleshy punching bag that I later found out was called a uvula. She quickly withdrew the toothbrush, and just in time, because almost instantly I could feel vomit rising in my throat, and then I was heaving and I could see most of the unwelcome meal sitting there in the toilet, undigested and ugly-looking. She did it again, and up came the turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing, and even the red cherry from my Shirley Temple, sitting right in the center like a blood-colored bull’s eye.
The relief was remarkably surreal and instantaneous. I felt as if a huge weight that I had been carrying around had been lifted, more than just that obscenely large Thanksgiving dinner. A pleasing emptiness enveloped me, and even my brain felt like it had been purged of all the creative demises I had imagined for myself, the facts and figures I learned for school, even all of my parents’ perfectly designed little insults. I was clean, new, light, empty in the most delightful way, open to a world of
possibilities. No pressure, not an ounce of pressure. It all sat in the toilet with the turkey.
Three years later, when the pressure of high school became too much, I remembered that insanely intoxicating feeling of release, and I began to empty myself quite frequently. I didn’t consider it an eating disorder, because I didn’t do it obsessively or because I wanted to lose weight. I considered it a sweet release, a freeing of mind and body, an outlet for my frustrations.
And at age eighteen, high school valedictorian, the epitome of my parents’ deepest desire, I still found myself heaving into a toilet, silent tears escaping from my eyes and streaming down my cheeks into the toilet full of regurgitated food, chastising myself for never being good enough.
Like I said before, the eating disorder is not the main conflict in the novel. It’s a very small sub-plot. I just wanted to make sure this passage made sense…it’s not really an eating disorder (to her anyway). I wanted to make sure the purpose for it was clear.
Red is the color of energy, vitality and power. It is used for burning out cancer, drying up weeping sores or wounds, etc., it will warm cold areas to reduce pain. Red is a powerful healing agent for healing diseases of the blood and circulation. It will help with depression. Red is not to be used on people with high blood pressure or anxiety. If you stay under the red ray too long or are exposed to red for a considerable time it will make you very agitated or even aggressive. It is associated with the male polarity. A red carpet or wall – in a place of business – will draw money. If you are a sales person – try wearing something red!!
——————————————————————————–
ORANGE
The mental body in both its logical and conceptual form. It is used to increase immunity, to increase sexual potency, to help in all digestive ailments, chest and kidney diseases. Orange will have a gentle warming effect if used lightly. Orange, like red should not be used for too long. It is not a good color for nervous people or people easily agitated.
——————————————————————————–
PEACH
The peach frequency is used for peace, truth, and balance.
——————————————————————————–
YELLOW
Yellow is the color of intellect and it is used for mental stimulation, it will help you think quicker. It is good for clearing a foggy head. To help cure dermatitis and other skin problems and again it must be used carefully because it is very stimulating and it could cause exhaustion and depression.
——————————————————————————–
GREEN
Green is the color of healing and traveling back in time. It will balance the emotions and brings about a feeling of calmness. Green is a good general healing color because it stimulates growth therefore it is good for helping heal broken bones – regrowth of tissue of all kinds. Green is also alchemy – the alchemy of consciousness from one realm to another through the spiraling energies of DNA – Sacred Geometry
Green as a healing frequency can be placed around family members who are ill. Though many of you are not attuned in the palms of your hands with this frequency color – it is part of you now.
If you wish to heal someone – begin by asking the person if they wish to be healed. That may sound like a silly question but it is necessary. Help them find the emotional base for the ailment if you can, before you heal anyone.
You can not promise to heal them but you can make them feel more comfortable and show them how healing is done. Perhaps you can awaken the healing abilities in others. Just remember not to force this with anyone who is not ready and that healing is not for everyone.
When you and the person are ready to begin, find a calm quiet place. Be sure the person is relaxed with what you are doing and assure them you will not hurt them in any way. If you have a favorite healing crystal–use that when you heal.
The person can sit or lay down. No need to remove their clothing. Work first with the emotional aspects of the problem. Give the person hope. Get them to relax.
Ask your guides to protect you so their energies do not enter into your frequency.
Visualize the color green coming through your palms as you hold them just above –or gently on–someone with a problem.
Scan their body for ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ spots. That is where the blockages are. Tell them what you are doing and what you see and feel.
Now visualize the green healing energies coming through you as you work. Visualize them entering the person’s body at the higher levels, especially the emotional body. Watch them sift through the cells of the person who is ill and moving the Chi energies.
You can have a third person take a picture of your doing the healing to see if you get a green aura of light around you or the person.
Feel your connection to the higher frequencies as you heal. Work with the heart chakra as it is the frequency green. You may even take it to the newer frequency of green=turquoise (green -blue).
There is no time limit for this. Usually a few minutes is all that is needed. Try to repeat the healing for 3 consecutive days–10 minutes a day.
You can heal yourself as well.
You can teach others to use the color green to heal.
You can send the green frequency to the planet for healing.
Try a past life regression with someone you trust placing them in the green bubble. See where you knew them in another lifetime. Green takes you back in time.
ok sorry~purple is a very spiritual color often associated with enlightenment and psychic abilities~also very present in natural channels and healers~anybody into the higher spiritual growth areas~psychics, healers, mediums often gravitate to this color
Black~(actually black and silver)
protective~ encompassing~and reflective
oftetimes in olden days black candles were used to dissipate or reflect negative energies back to the sender~~ silver is also used for this purpose.
also black candles were used in protection spells to cast a cloak over someone under psychic attack~~
silver is oftentimes seen also as a wealth attractor~so is dark green and the color gold

I have already lost 2 and a half stone, throught healthy eating and exercise but still have high blood pressure. I am reluctant to take tablets for it as it means i will be on it for life. Any herbal remedies or advice would be appreciated
my eyes are always red!!! i’ve tried everything, clear eyes, visine etc and it works for a couple hours and my eyes go back to red!!! is there something that causes eyes being red?? are some people just naturally like that?? please don’t tell me to use eye drops because i want a permanent cure for this!! all eyedrops do is solve the problem for a few hours!!!! could it be that i have high blood pressure or cholesterol??
the skin under her eye will swell w fluid (golf ball size) if it gets 2 this point she will scratch 2 relieve the fluid- which results in infection w antibiotics needed. if im home when it starts swelling i use a needle to relieve the pressure/fluid to reduce the risk of infection. she is a scottie mix, 24lbs. 1 vet told me she was allergic 2 grass (after running blood work). she has also spent a week at VA tech’s vet school where they ran tissue & bone samples, radiographs, x-rays, and went through 4 surgeries- all with no prevail. i dont know what causes her eyes to swell- the mostrecent outbreak was 2 days after switching her to a fish-based formula by merrick. i have also tried switching to a raw diet but that doesnt work either. we tried wellness’ 2 ingredient food only chicken & rice and a muli vitamin- it helps a bit but does not cure. help!!! i love her and does not know what my next step should be!
Dear
Sir
my father is a patient of Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay since 3 years
but unfortunately the deases of my father is on control but not cured like my father is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, anemia, diabetes and high blood pressure since 5 years. Before 1 year when my father was at assam suddenly he fainted in the morning and next day also he fainted like that it goes for some days while he was fainted his eyes were wide open and his lips were pale.We checked the random sugar level and it was normal nearly 120.After that we went to chennai apollo for checkup where he was done a lots of tests including MRI ,colour dopler, ct scan, etc but failed to find the actual reason of faintaing. After that we came back to kolkata and after few months he again fall ill and was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles kolkata and was diagnosed pneumonia and staphylococcal septicaemia.Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay saaid that my Dad had a minor attack of stroke and also he was talking like a mad,non meningful talks constently.
Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay stopped all the medicine prescribed by chennai Apollo hospital. Now for long 6 months he is taking the medicines prescribed by Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay the medicine are tablet Pantocid it,Minipres-xl 5mg ,wysolone 2.5mg tablet cetapin xr 500 ,amaryl 2mg,nexito 5mg ,stamlo 2.5mg, tablet folvite,p650,lonazep 0.5mg.He also has a eye problem on right eye cataract, and glaucoma and the medicine for eye is gatilox eye drop, homarin forte eye drop, prednisolone acetate eye drop ,combigan eye drop. Now my Dad cant stand without the help of Walker nor he can stand by his own without our help even he has to do toilet on the bed.
Now the matter of concern is that today on 11/02/2010 at nearly 2pm while he was sitting in a chair near the dining table he was feeling sleepy and ill.He asked my mom to give him lunch and immediately asked for water but before she could give it he fainted. His eyes became wide open and lips pale.We sprinkled lots of water gave him water to drink and after trying for 2 minutes or so he regained his senses. As he was hungry we gave him buiscuits and water. After almost 20 minutes of that we gave him his lunch but after swallowing it once he vomited. After that we again gave him his lunch about 45 minutes later and he could consume it then.
So
Sir
Please do help us by providing the best treatment to make our father move and make him healthy and get rid from the fainting problem
your advice is highly appreciated
thanking you your sincearly

My boyfriend has high blood pressure and does not want to have to take all kinds of medicine to lower it. I have looked up natural remedies and found about a million suggestions so far….my question is this….does anyone know of ONE "blend" or formula of natural herbs/vitamins that will help lower his BP without buying 50 different bottles of supplements? Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Hi my dad is nearly 45 years old n he has high blood pressure, diabetes and heart problem when he walks a bit more he feels pain in chest and he has to stop by side n breath well then again he starts walking but yet feels pain in chest..its going to be dangerous if not cured coz walking is good for health n if dad will not walk then it,ll worsen his health, he can’t even walk 0.25 k.m
thankx
Considering that my symptoms originated as a hereditary condition and I’m in need of continuous medication. My diet and exercise are quite adequate and I’m in fact an active person but my high bp can bog me down at times. I do my daily prayers and meditation but it just seem to ‘remain’ there lingering and sudden stress can cause my pressure to rocket pretty high (which is bad for my heart).
Regular symptoms includes headaches, sleepiness (I can understand as I lack sleep sometimes), feeling of fatigue, stress, shortness of breath (as if the intake of ‘fresh air’ is not enough to fill my lungs) and swelling of glands behind my neck.
Thanks in advance ![]()
Could anyone here shares their experience on boiled neem leaves as a means of curing sickness, as tonic drink, or as part of their lives without any side effect on their body.
I have been taking a cup of fresh Neem boiled leaves here to treat my hypertension for two months every night. It lowered my cholesterol and dropped my high blood pressure to 130/90 from 150/100. Since I have no actual and informations or advice from the medical expert, I am afraid with long lasting use will affect my vital organs. I hope I can hear someone to share their experience as a validation of the vitality of the herbal. Thank you

Okay, my Dad went for a physical recently because we KNEW something was wrong (I won’t go through the details). They found out that he was passing 7 blood cells through his urine, and that wasn’t normal there (so they said), and now he is passing 20 blood cells. Okay, I know this isn’t normal, but I was wondering what causing this and why isn’t it normal? I want to understand what is wrong with my Dad because I’m not getting any of this. I overheard him talking to his mom and dad and I obviously wasn’t suppose to know, but unfortunately, I do, and I’ve been worried sick! They’re not SURE if he has cancer, cause they’re still running tests, but still, they think there is a high possibility he has prostate cancer. It’s so scary to think about this – but he has been improving some, I can tell. Whatever it is, there is a cure I know, but my Dad suffers from high blood pressure as well as high Cholesterol, and takes pill for both. Could high Cholesterol have caused this at all? High Cholesterol and heart problems unfortunately run in my family, but we’ve never had a record of any type of cancer or anything like that.
But anyways, here are my Q’s:
1. WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS?
2. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP (CAN I HELP)?
3. HOW EASILY CAN THIS BE CURED?
**4. WHY IS IT TAKING THEM SO LONG TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?? They’re constantly running test after test and I would this by now that they would have at least found out something!
5. HOW CAN I HELP MYSELF? I’VE BEEN VERY STRESSED OVER SCHOOL LATELY, BUT NOW THIS – I CAN BARELY MANAGE IT ALL! IF MY DAD DOES HAVE CANCER, I DON’T THINK I COULD TAKE IT. IT DOESN’T SEEM POSSIBLE.
Please no rude comments, please understand I am going through some hard times ride now, and all I’m wanting are some reasonable answers to my questions. Thanks so much to anyone who does answer. =)
My grandma is 77. When she was in Cambodia before living in the U.S, the pul pot(the Vet that practically destroyed Cambodia) was there. they killed my grandpa and my uncles. only her and my mom survived. now, she is very sick. everyday she says shes "really" sick. she complains everyday. shes so annoying now. she always goes in my room and starts to be nosy. my mom takes care of her everyday. more than she takes care of my family. and if you dont listen to my grandma, shell start crying and say your mean and a bad person. she is sooo selfish. she likes to play slots a lot. she has a gambling problem. A BAD ONE. The doctors cant cure her sickness. She has leg cramps, high blood pressure, and if she smells any chemicals shell get sick for almost a week. lately, shes been coming up with excuses. like now she cant sit in teh back of the car anymore because of the material on the chair and stuff. she is giving me stress everyday freaking day.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER? =[

Explinations are good, but I have them all answered, and i can’t afford to miss any questions on this so i just want to double check and see if other people got what i got.
I have high blood pressure, and I am currently taking a mild hypertension medication called Methyldopa 250 mg three times per day. This medication is appropriate for me because I’m breastfeeding. My question is: what over-the-counter remedy or remedies can I safely take for the following symptoms: sneezing; runny nose; nasal congestion; coughing. I saw on a commercial that Coricidin is safe for patients with high blood pressure, but when I purchased it, the box indicated that it would only treat chest congestion and cough; it won’t help sneezing, runny nose or nasal congestion. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
We are AGAINST animal MEDICAL experimentation in our debate project
and would like to know some peoples’ opinions on quotes from an
article that is FOR animal medical experimentation.
what would you say to these:
1. "Some people also argue that animal research is no longer necessary
because modern technology can replace the use of animals…However,
many factors affecting both human and animal lives can only be studied
using research animals. The use of research animals has been and will
continue to be essential to finding the causes and cures for many
diseases.
2. Rats are valuable research subjects because their body systems are
similar to humans and other animals in many respects. The animals are
also susceptible to many of the diseases that affect humans…whenever
surgery is performed, anesthesia is used.
3. Research involving animals has helped identify the causes of high
blood pressure and develop more effective drugs to control the
problems. Other research has resulted in treatments for strokes and
heart attacks that save thousands of lives and reduce recovery time.
4. Dogs have been especially important to researchers who developed
open-heart surgery, pacemakers, and heart transplants. These
techniques have revolutionized the therapy for people who have severe
heart disease.
5. According to Dr. Joseph Murray, winner of the 1990 Nobel Prize for
Medicine, "There would not be a single person alive today as a result
of organ transplant or bone-marrow transplant without animal
experimentation."
My partner and I really need some different perspectives against/for
these quotes and would like to know the many opinions on animal
medical experimentation. We are against it for this debate.
thanks in advance ;]
So I have this practice sheet for chemistry homework and I really want to be able to check my answers. Could you give me your second opinion on any of these? Thanks!

My blood pressure is really low, and when I was in the shower I almost fainted. I have had a really bad cold all week and I’m on my period, so I don’t know if this could have anything to do with it. I am 15 and weigh 125 lbs. How much should my normal blood pressure be? I also need any home remedy to raise my blood pressure fast. Any website you could give me would really help too. Thank you!
I’m 23 years old. Not too over weight and in decent shape. I can go a month having sex 2 or 3 times a day with my woman. Then, out of nowhere, I’ll think about it and I will lose my erection in the middle of sex. For a few days after that I will have problems getting it up. I will be able to perform during this time, just not as much as usual. I used to have high blood pressure but have lost enough weight to where it is in check. I haven’t been diagnosed yet, but I’m pretty sure I suffer from anxiety. The main thing that bothers me is that I can’t get it all the way hard while masturbating after this happens. Someone please help me and let me know what could be going on and if there are cures for every kind of ED. Thanks.
What kind of help is available for that kind of problem? I’ve heard anxiety meds cause ED ![]()
my 7 month old was born weighing almost 10lbs and now weighs just over 13lbs. i have had to force feed him since hes been born and often brings all his feed back up(sometimes up to 2 hrs later) he has high calorie baby food three times a day and is on a high energy formula. he has had blood tests which were all clear and is seen regally by a consultant and a dietitian who don’t seem concerned. he is very skinny and has pressure marks because of this…anyone have any idea whats up and how i can help him coz im really out of ideas and really worried?
I have gone without my blood pressure medicine for 4 days. I finally got my prescription refilled this morning. I can tell my blood pressure is still high. It’s too late to go to the DR tonight, so does anyone know of something i could eat to maybe help lower it some. Thanks
wanna no should read the whole question!
She doesn’t want to do surgery. She bleeds a lot, whenever she uses the restroom (literally bleeds from the backside). She’s had this problem for 3 years, and it keeps getting worse. (She also has high blood pressure). She drinks a lot of water, takes Vitamin C, but what else is there? I’m skeptical of all these different cures available online, they all seem like scams. I’m really worried, and I know she is also, but she doesn’t actually care about her health (doesn’t have a doctor). Any advice, home tips, or REAL cures? Thank you so much in advance.
Thank you all so much for your answers. I was surprised when I found this many, and it made me feel better. I’m kind of confused because of the contrasting replies, but I can incorporate them all. Somehow. I think I’ll just continue taking care of her at home, and I guess eventually she’ll have to see a doctor.
She looses about 2 cups a day.
Divers get "the bends" if they came up too fast because gas in their blood expands, forming bubbles in their blood. If a diver has 0.05 L of gas in his blood under a pressure of 250 atm, then rises instantaneously to a depth where his blood has a pressure of 50.0 atm, what will the volume of gas in his blood be? Do you think this will harm the diver?
So here’s what I got for that problem according to the formula: P1V1=P2V2
(250atm)*(0.05L) = (50.0atm)*(V2)
thus,
250*0.05/50 = .25 L
So have I done that correctly? I just want to make sure that I know how to do it. And what do you think whether this will harm the diver or not? Thank you.
Hey! I was wondering if there are any natural remedies I can use to lower blood pressure.
Thank you in advance!
I’m interested in adopting a Raw food diet, however I don’t want to become 100% raw. I still plan to each various cooked foods, and meats(chicken, seafood)… because I can’t let them go sorry! However, majority of my diet with be consisting of raw foods.
I became interested in raw foods, literally last week, when a friend of my cousin was found to be cured of type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure after suffering with them for 20 years.
My question: Will I still receive the health benefits, and all the good things that come with having a raw food diet.. Even if I continue to add cooked foods and meat to my diet.
Hello, i have a very serious question, and i need serious answers please. Recently over that last 2 months i have developed a stress, anxienty related sexual performance issue, i can achieve an erection but when i begin intercourse, my penis goes limp. mind u, im only 23 and i have never had an erection problem before in my life. I have figured it has to do with anxienty, stress and depression, all of which i regretable have.
Sometimes i achieve an erection while im laying with my girlfriend or have one for over an hour without intent, but as far as sex goes, i cant mainatin and erection for intercourse…
I have read and heard about the natural effects of Nitric Oxide, and its uses for ED. Now, im asking if any of you have had any experience taking such a remedy, or any similar remedies excluding prescribed medications. I have two doctors i can talk to, luckily their both foreign doctors and practice natural medicine, so this would be right up their alley.
Please give me whatever information you can about natural remedies for ED, including topical formulas, sensitizing oils, etc, non illegal enhancers. Also will alcohol possible help, i dont regularly drink, i do not smoke, but my girlfriend does, i dont smoke weed or do any drugs. This might be informitive, this started around the time when i used a flowmax pill prescibed to me, but it was one single pill and i have take them before with no problematic side effects relating to ED. I have tried basic water based KY lube, would it help if i had a warming version of the lube instead.
onem more question as well. I probly have high blood pressure, what can i take thats natural to lower it?
Thank You in advance
I have been to a gyne a dermatoligest had a pap smear had blood tests. The white stuff is not a discharge it seems to be over the red spots that were itching after bleeding white shows. I am a diabetic high blood pressure and high cholestrol None of my doctors have come close to curing this problem. They all say they have seen this before wont say what it is but tell me to take meds and they never work. They ruled out std’s. I have a daughter that has the same thing she is 37 we do not live together. she has had it for 4 yrs and no dr. helps her either. After the itch is opened by scratching yes it has a smell. it bleeds then the white forms over.
What is the osmotic pressure of human blood at 37°C if human blood is isotonic to 0.16 M NaCl solution? Remember that NaCl almost completely ionizes in water, so each formula unit of NaCl contributes two particles to the solution.
a. 4.1 atm
b. 0.5 atm
c. 8.1 atm
d. 0.097 atm
I would go with A, but "the two particles in the solution" has be thinking B is possible- but it is definitely A or B
In my Human Growth and Development class, we have a debate on Pharmaceutical (Drug) companies, and whether they are good or bad. My teacher assigned my group and I pro (for/good).
We need an opening statement, two arguments, and a closing statement. Additional notes and such are recommended. It is also recommended that we use things such as graphs, examples, etc.
My group isn’t helping at all and I’ve been stuck doing everything, and now I need to somehow write an opening and closing statement, and write the two arguments out properly with information to back it up by tonight.
My first argument:
Without their research, we wouldn’t have discovered treatment for cancer (radiation and chemotherapy) and many of the cancer patients who have survived and are healing would be dead right now. If it weren’t for these drugs, we’d all be diseased and most likely dead – drug companies have discovered vaccinations to diseases such as smallpox, malaria, the Spanish influenza, and et cetera. They have kept the human race from dying out. For those who have sex, there would be so many people who would go untreated for STI’s and would ultimately end up giving it to other people. Therefore, these STI’s would spread globally and there would be no way to cure it.
My second argument:
Drug companies generate revenue for the economy because they create medicines for foreign outbreaks which basically helps advance the scientific knowledge of the country. This would ultimately increase life expectancy for the human race.
Additional points:
-Prescription drugs can often be the answer for life-threatening conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol or even cancer. These drugs help stimulate and mimic a well functioning body, so there are a number of people whose lives are saved daily because of prescription drugs. Without them, they would have a lower quality of life and even risk death.
-Less crowding in jails, less taxpayer money going to worthless rehab programs, more taxes from the sales of said drugs, new jobs and industries in America, : It would create a revenue steam, and jobs, crime rates go down, less overcrowded jail & prison system…..
-All drug companies want to make a profit – just like any other business. When you consider the numerous doctors and skilled scientists who work for years just to perfect and test a new drug, ultimately some1 must pay for all that. Logically, it would be from those whom that new drug has/had actually helped.
-People are always an inch away from death and get cured due to the new technology and medications created.
-Drug companies are not in it FOR THE MONEY. Drug companies manufacture & market drugs, many of which are cures for various diseases. For example, its like saying, "Do ambulance drivers REALLY want people to get to the hospital? After all, they get paid for driving you there"
-Drug companies exist to make money for the people that own them & work for them, just like every other kind of business. Every time a company comes up with a cure for something that really works, they make HEAPS of money and at the same time they are saving peoples’ lives. They use this money for research to fund trials for new drugs and development.
If there are any grammatical errors, I apologize as I wrote those down very quickly. Anyway, my question is: are those two arguments legit? And what examples and information could I add and use?
Thank you SO much for your help – 10 points to the BEST and MOST INFORMATIVE/HELPFUL answer.
I’m not asking for your opinion on whether or not pharmaceutical companies are good.
I was told I was doing for drug companies, so that’s my argument. I need examples and other information to back up my arguments.
Thank you.
I want only natural remedies. Not drugs or chemical.
A drug affects a patient’s blood pressure. The patient’s blood pressure, p in millimeters of mercury (mm), soon after the drug is given is a function of the dose, q mg, so p= f(q). Match each statement in (a)-(d) with one of the formulas.
i) f(q) + 10 ii) f(q) -10 iii) f(q + 10) iv) f(q -10)
v) f(q) + 0.1 vi) f(q) -0.1 vii) 0.9f(q) viii) 0.1f(q)
ix) 1.1f(q)
_______ (a) the dose remains the same but the blood pressure is increased by 10 mm.
_______ (b) the dose is increased by 10 mg.
_______ (c) the blood pressure is decreased by 10%, while maintaining the same dose.
_______ (d) the blood pressure is increased by 10%, while maintaining the same dose.
i go to the dr. today to find out if i do have it…im very nervous about being told if i do..
i am 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant..will they wait a week or 2 then induce me cause thats the only cure for it?
im currently on medicine for my high blood pressure and its working…
but my feet are swollen and my weights been yo-yoing..
I’ve noticed that my blood pressure has become pretty high, atleast it is for me. (It hovers around 139/90 and I’ve dealt with dull headaches and dizziness everyday for the past couple of weeks) Does anybody have tips or remedies that have work to lower blood pressure naturally. I would prefer not to get on meds at this point in my life unless totally necessary. Also, should I be worried about this because it’s high but not tremendously high?
Hi there! I had high blood pressure before I got pregnant and all through my pregnancy and I ended up with pre-eclampsia and was induced early. I had to have my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and my milk supply never came back like it was coming before surgery. Even pumping every hour I can only get out 2 or 3 ounces. So I have to supplement with formula now
Now at 2 months my blood pressure is still high and my doctor wants to put me on blood pressure medicine. But that means I would have to stop breastfeeding all together at 2 months
as that medicine is not good to pass on to baby. My doctor says that my BP is so high it could pose a risk to me sometime in the near future, im only 24. I dont want to stop yet though, I had planned on breastfeeding for a while. And I feel incredibly guilty even if he only gets a little everyday, at least he is getting something right? Should I stop all together and take the medicine?
thanks for your opinion
Its called Micardis
Never, put your banana in the refrigerator!!!
This is interesting.
After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again.
Bananas contain three natural sugars – sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.
Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.
But energy isn’t the only way a banana can help us keep fit.
It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.
Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.
PMS: Forget the pills – eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.
Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.
Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit’s ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.
Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.
Hangovers: One of the quickest
ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.
Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.
Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.
Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at wor k leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.
Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.
Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.
Smoking &Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body’s water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.
Strokes: According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!
Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!
So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"
PASS IT ON TO YOUR FRIENDS
PS: Bananas must be the reason monkeys are so happy all the time! I will add one here; want a quick shine on our shoes?? Take the INSIDE of the banana skin, and rub directly on the shoe…polish with dry cloth. Amazing fruit !
Normally I can do decent size math problems and formulas and such in my head but once I am doing a test, its like pressure is building. Like a blood clot in my brain blocking important information. Its right in the center where both halves connect. I keep thinking, the pressure builds, then I get a headache. I just don’t understand. I am smart (my friends say) except when I do tests. Whats wrong with me?
I think I’ve heard garlic and a few other things can help lower blood pressure. Anybody know the other ones?
The part that is swollen is around the "dark circle" area & under that part like down towards the cheek a little. Her eye is not red or itchy. It tears a lot but don’t know if it’s related. It’s been happening for the past few days she wakes up like that and it gets a little better during the day but it won’t go away completely. I would like to find some homemade cures since she takes some medicines for high blood pressure & a few things more. Could it be an allergy? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance.
She also is recovering from avery bad cold
Suppose a patient must take a blood pressure medication that is dispensed in 125-miligram tablets. The dosage is 15-milligrams per kilogram of body weight and is given ever 8 hours. If the patient weights 25 kilograms, how many tablets would be needed for a 30 day supply? Use the formula n=24d / [8(bx15/125)] , where n is the number of tablets, d is the number of days the supplu should last, and b is the body weight of the patient in kilograms
my brother have had a stroke a month ago he missed his voice ,but he is okay now (he has two mechanical valves high blood pressure Af and taking anticoagulants )Last ten days he had bleeding because of polyp in colon so, he had a surgery and they remove it now he is recovering, but sometimes he experiences shortness of breath so, what is the cause and is it risky and can it be cured . Thank you for helping me understand and God bless everybody.
Aside from the obvious methods of eating right, exercises and lowering salt intake. Are there any natural herbs or remedies that can lower really high blood pressure quickly ? I’m talking really high as in 180 over 110.. Heart attack stroke kinda blood pressure. Thanks for your replies.. God bless you !
First off this is a real question. I can get my dick hard and I can have sex, but here is the problem… I am having a hard time getting it up and when it is up if I don’t do something right then it goes away within seconds, I have about enough time to get the condom on if it is in my hands at the time. Here’s some background on me to help you fix my problem. <br>
I used to be CRAZY fat (400+ pounds) but I lost 150 pounds in five months and now I’m 270 pounds. I’m also 6′4 so keep that in mind. If it matters I am 6-7 inches long. Everyday I take ginkgo biloba, (120mg) men’s health formula one a day, an energy pill, and vitamin D calcium. (1200mg) <br>
So what is the problem and how do I fix it? It has been this way for like five years I think. Here is what goes through my mind. Blood pressure, some kind of pill I’m taking, (but it has kinda been this way for awhile so not sure about that) maybe my dick popped out of place? (this girl was riding it and ot crazy, ended up sitting on it wrong and big hurt for me, is that even possible?) Even considering taking a dick pill like enzite. (or however you spell it) Hope you got a laugh out of this, I know I did, never thought I’d even ask this question. AGAIN this is a real question and any info would be helpful, thanks!
My wife is having a hard time with her blood pressure. One minute it’s up, next, it’s down. She is on 3 meds but is getting off two, one of them (clonodine) is making it go high, getting off of it. What can I give her to make it go down quickly?
Have you ever heard of scleroderma? This is a rare condition that is increasing in frequency. It causes progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. It is 3 to 4 times more common in women than men, particularly younger African American women, but it can affect anyone. The cause is unknown, but researchers suggest that environmental and genetic factors play a role.
In typical cases, patients first develop skin thickening on the fingers or elsewhere. Patients may complain of cold, swelling, and puffy fingers and hands. Arthritic symptoms are also common throughout the body. As the disease progresses, additional organs are affected such as the heart, esophagus, joints, muscles, and lungs. Patients can develop sudden severe high blood pressure and even kidney failure. There is no specific blood test for the diagnosis, although many different tests will be abnormal. There are several treatments but no cure as yet..If you are looking for a Charity, Please give to Scleroderma.
This is our history.I was induced at 39 weeks because Dr was worried about my blood pressure. Dr used a vacume which some how I was not aware of that during labor . I had an epidural . When he was finally born he had a bubble on his head fron the vacume. So when they gave him to me I was breast feeding. He cried a cry that sounded like pain because of his sore head. The next day in the hospital they said he had jaundice and it was high for a new born and he was in nicu for 5 days. First his jaundice would not go down, they told me to supplement, then stop breast feeding for 24 hours,he had and iv, and it still went up.Finally on 6th day of his life he got to go home. His billi was finally going down on its own.I continued breast feeding, but he was not satisfied. In the hospital they were giving him 3 ounces.I still do not know if that much ids ok for a new born. How much do they eat? I only understand breast feeding is for 30 to 40 mins.So He still wanted more,he eats formula not satisfied.
I mean to say he eats formula , enfamile, for fussy babies, and just hours ago I tried the one thickened with rice starch for babies who spt up. I burp him, hold him , change his diaper, and he cries allot.still.Why does he still cry.He is my second and I have a toddler and it is making life more difficult. My husband looks and acts very annoyed when he cries, and says he cries too much. What could be wrong if there is something wrong, how can i help him feel better to stop crying so much.
I posted a question last week about what are 3 issue’s that Americans feel need to be addressed.
2 issues that were proposed were,
Gay Marriage and Global Warming.
My question is HOW will Gay Marriage benifit man kind?
Will this help secure the human race for eons to come?
Will this prove to be the cure for cancer, aids, diabetes, high blood pressure?
What are your thoughta on this?
just looking for a short term fix for when i already took my medication, but blood pressure may still rise occasionally.
I know it was recalled around last May, but I’m pretty sure they came out with a different formula that is safer (still not FDA approved.) If they didn’t, are stores still allowed to sell it even if it’s been recalled? Does anyone know of negatives or bad sad effects from using it? I use it occasionally, and it gives me more energy when i workout, decreases my appetite, and speeds up my metabolism, but I had a doctors appointment on a day I took two pills (the maximum in a day they recommend if 4, I never take that many) and my blood pressure was abnormally high, and i never have had that issue before. It was definitely high due to the hydroxycut but I’m wondering if this is a big enough issue to stop taking it, because i definitely notice benefits from it.
I’m generalizing of course.
Do doctors want to cure you or give you meds to take care of the symptoms (only) and have you come back every few months?
One of my employees (young fellow) has high blood pressure and other health issues. The doctor gave him BP pills. Yes, his BP is now lower. Did the doctor ask him about his lifestyle, diet, weight, smoking? And MAYBE he could lower his BP by changing these bad habits? No, he pulled out the prescription pad. It was a quick fix.
Now, the poor boy had gout probably related to the BP meds, so the doctor gave him pills for that!
In the meantime, my insurance premiums keep rising which affects everyone.
Is this job security for the medical profession? Is alternative medical care a better choice?
LIKE FOR INSTANCE I’M TOLD TO DRINK VINEGAR WATER , GARLIC WATER; LIKE WHAT ARE THE MEASUREMENTS?
My friend (female, age 54), when she gets on a treadmill or elliptical trainer etc) has her heart rate very quickly go up to a rather high percentage of her maximum heart rate. According to the formula of 220 – AGE = MAX HEART RATE, her heart should not ever go faster than 166. Her heart rate routinely gets up around 160 and it gets up there very quickly with not a lot of effort. Her blood pressure is usually fairly low, but she does have high cholesterol and is taking meds for that as well as some thyroid medication. Should I be worried about her?
My mother is in her 60s. She has high blood pressure, and is taking medication for that (Lisinopril, a generic for Prinivil). She also has been having sporadic light-headedness and dizzy spells. Sometimes it’s when she wakes up, sometimes it’s after work at 6pm– the timing is random, whether or not she eats anything. Generally she doesn’t eat breakfast or much at all during the day (she had a Twinkie for today’s breakfast, for instance). She’s also taking medication for dizziness– Hydrochlorothiazise, a generic for Oretic/Esidrix that, randomly enough, says it may cause dizziness on the bottle. Her dizziness is so bad that she doesn’t want to drive, for fear of passing out. She started taking the dizziness pills on Wednesday, the blood pressure pills on Thursday.
The doctor said her blood pressure medication might take about two weeks to start working properly. Until then, I figure that whatever the cause, whether it’s her blood pressure or the medication, similar home remedies would work to help her get over the light-headedness, right? Does anyone have any recommendations of food or actions to take that could help my mother get over her light-headedness and dizzy spells until her blood-pressure medication starts working?
-frequent nosebleeds
-frequent painful headaches
-random loss of ability to walk properly in one leg (happened once, during a hard day’s work, accompanied by passing out for a few seconds [happened 2 months ago])
-job: heavy lifting, including furniture, and 30-50lb bags of grout.
-went to hospital for food poisoning, and when cured, still had extremely high blood pressure, and also a heart rate of 150 bpm which continued at about 105bpm at resting state a day later.
-19 year old male, 6 feet tall, approx. 170-180lbs, has stress problems relating to life and work.
-internet links to valid sites are appreciated, thx.
were waiting for a doctors appointment, but untill then, amateur answers are good too
My twins are going to be four in july. I breast fed them exclusivly for 6 mo, then my supply couldnt keep up with the demand. They liked formula better, so i quit. sad thing is, I have never dried up. I still make milk, it expresses very easily…when I do self breat exams it will come out..my boobs are sore all the time, and I have had a biospy done on a breast lump 6 years ago, it was just fibrocystic breast lumps…but this is obnoxious..I hurt all the time. I cant play rough with the kids, or let them cuddle too much, b/c the boobs dont like to be touched. severe pain. normal activity doesnt hurt, but should I be worried? I mean, Im 23, in relatively good health, but with high blood pressure. I also have no insurance and no doctor…what do I do? just ignore it like I have been? Like my bp?
ok, now Im a little worried. what is wrong with still making milk? I mean what are the health risks associated with this?
I couldn’t sleep last night. So I got up and took my blood pressure.
My doctor want’s me to record it at various times. I felt good.
Pressure 187/113. My wife thinks I woory too much about it and that makes it go higher. I understand it might but not that high.
She wants me to stop all my meds. and just pray the rosary. This will cure me. Ain’t going to do it. Now to the question I have a very stressful life, take pills for that too, would stress make it that high ? My dr. said there’s a good chance I will have a stroke pretty soon or if I’m lucky just a heart attack.

there are so many products on the market that claim to treat, and some to heal E.D.I would like to know,if medicines issued by a medical doctor,or herbal treatments that have not been improved by the f.d.a .which is the best, especially if u suffer from medical conditions such as diebates,or high blood pressure.they have totally confused me,and of course the medical profession will not even talk about herbal treatments, they say because of the danger of severe medical interactons, that could be fatal.anyone ever here of Boston Medical Research.they have offices across the u’s,and claim they can cure most cases with one on one treatment.any feedback would help.thanks r.c.
Suppose a patient must take a blood pressure medicine that is dispensed in 125 milligram tablets. The dosage is 15 milligrams per kilogram of body weight and is given every 8 hours. If a patient weighs 25 kilograms, how many tablets would be needed for a 30 day supply?
I was also given this INCORRECT formula to help solve the problem:
n=24d/[8(b*15/125)]
n- number of tablets
d- number of days the supply should last
b- body weight of patient in kilograms
