I don’t know about that, but I know things that can help.
Well there is the obvious, reduce intake of sodium, animal products, and saturated fats.
Plus try to breath more through your nose than your mouth, and just be more active.
That is what I always do and my blood pressure is 100/50 with a heart rate of 45 bpm.
Hi Crogan,
First, it’s important that you don’t stop taking your meds cold turkey. Caduet contains two drugs; one works to lower your pressure and the other to lower your bad cholesterol. Together, they are meant to protect you from heart disease, stroke, and other diseases associated with diabetes. So, please monitor your pressure daily and work with your doctor in gradually replacing your meds.
Fortunately, there are many natural remedies that battle high blood pressure and bad cholesterol. If you have not already, begin the DASH diet. It’s the most researched diet for finding foods that lower high blood pressure. This is a real plan, based on real studies of real people. They were conducted at the best teaching hospitals in the country.
The result is an eating plan based on real foods that you can find in your local grocery store. You’ll need to give up excessive salt, sweets, and greasy foods if you eat them. But that leaves you with a wide range of foods to eat. You can download the DASH diet for free.
Other well-researched everyday food and supplement remedies that help prevent, lower, and control high blood pressure: 1 to 2 cloves of fresh garlic daily to relax your arteries, 1000 mg of hawthorn to relax your blood vessels, 50 to 100 mg of CoQ10, and quercetin, found in onions, apples, red grapes, and other fruits and leafy vegetables.
Don’t underestimate the power of making simple and consistent dietary changes. It’s working for me.
All the best to you.
