Blood pressure going down after chiropractor?
I’ve had high blood pressure since I was 13 …No reason why, just labeled it as hypertension.. Well about 3 months ago I started going to the chiropractor for dizziness (heaven sent.. almost completely cured the dizziness) …. I decided to check my blood pressure & yesterday it was 88/69 … I was very surprised because it’s usually 150/80 or 90 later in the day… Could this chiropractic care be reducing my blood pressure?
I’ve been checking it regularly … it’s ranged from 88/69 – 130/83. 130/85 was right before I went to bed right before I usually take my medicine. So when I got up I checked it again it was 122/87 but yet when i just checked it .. 3 hours later it is 89/77.

Ask the chiropracter about this. 88 systolic (top number) is way too low- during the chiropractic session you might have had your vagus nerve stimulated, which will drop your blood pressure like that. It’s especially not safe to drop it so fast like that- you could pass out and get seriously hurt- imagine if you passed out while driving. Make a point to talk to both your regular doctor and chiropracter about this. it’s important.
89 is way too low
