High blood pressure & pre eclampsia??
I had pre eclampsia with my 1st pregnancy, they didnt find it till like the last 3 weeks or my pregnancy an i had nothing for it just being monitored. I am pregnant again and i am only 26weeks and i have been having the blurring vision and headaches and the all over not feeling well. I was just wondering what happens if they find i have it again this early?? what treatment do they provide??

I have only experienced preeclampsia at 35 weeks and after, but here is a website I found really helpful.

I think they can give you certain medications and activity restrictions to help lower bp, and eventually if it gets really bad, they will deliver you. But, that is in a worse case situation. Hopefully, it won’t get there!
Good luck!
They will probably just keep and eye on your blood pressure, have you do 24 hour urine, and non stress tests. That is what I had to do in my last pregnancy.
And I’ve already had to have a 24 hour urine with this pregnancy because my blood presure was a bit high.
With my first pregnancy, I was on 5wks of bedrest and they induced me 2 1/2wks early. My third pregnancy, I had it early on and was put on blood pressure meds and was closely monitored. I had extra doctors visits, ultra sounds, non stress tests, the works. Even though my blood pressure stayed normal with the meds, they induced me 3wks early and I had a healthy baby boy! (and thank God they took him early, the Dr. said if he had been full term he would have weighed over 10lbs! OUCH!)
If you are having blurred vision and headaches, you really need to get to your doctor!!
First off all, if you are having those symptoms you should be heading right out the door to see you obgyn at his/her office or to the hospital your planning on delivering at, if it’s after hours. These could be serious signs that you do have preclampsia again. It’s more common for expecting moms to be diagnosed towards that last couple of weeks with it but it can happen during your second trimester as well and should not be taken lightly. if they think that it’s severe enough that it’s jeopardizes your health or that of your un born baby they can delivery the baby now. It’s not the ideal time for a baby to be born but he or she can survive at this point with the appropriate NICU care. Call your MD now!
