most meds. stay in your system for 24 hours but if the doc. gave you a med. for high blood pressure i would ask him. some meds. may cause a problem if you just stop taking them. its like a druggie addicted to pain killers they give them something Else to control the side affects while there body Adjusts to not having the pain killers in there system.
