How should the treatment be?
I am suffering from high blood sugar and hypertension. My 2 doctors gave me their prescriptions. For high blood sugar, metformin and for high blood pressure, Filodepine with metoprolol. Reading the inserts in both, i discovered that one is not to be taken with the other. I am confused and sometimes refuse to drink both at the same time. Please advise.

hmmm… are you diagnosed to have diabetes type 2? or pre diabetes?
your drug metropolol is a beta blocker.. it can cause hypoglycemia and is contraindicated to patients with risk of hypoglycemia as in diabetes.. or patients taking glucose-lowering drugs…
metformin and metropolol should not really go together.. tell your doctor you’ve done some research and ask him/her again if he/she really is sure… i bet he/she is not…
Go and ask you chemist about it. Or, go back to one of the doctors and explain your worries. They will sort it out for you.
back to your doctors and confront them
