Heart failure is a serious disorder. It is usually a chronic illness, which may get worse with infection or other physical stress.
Many forms of heart failure can be controlled with medication, lifestyle changes, and treatment of any underlying disorder.
Possible Complications:-
    * Irregular heart rhythms (can be deadly)
    * Pulmonary edema
    * Total heart failure (circulatory collapse)
Despite recent advances in the management of patients with heart failure, morbidity and mortality rates remain high, with an estimated 5-year mortality rate of 50%.

The treatment doesn't stop the heart failure, it just supports the heart and boosts what capability it has left. It may contribute to someone's death ultimately, but that's impossible to predict really as there as so many other things that people can die from. Heart failure does put somebody at greater risk of developing other problems which may kill them though eg. chest infection.

A person will not have heart failure if the readout is normal.

many are gone if recovery of pumping function is too little. The first 3-6 months are critical! if incidents are minimum, and health condition improves then it's hopefully.
