Is Amlodipine goood medicine for hight blood pressure ?
is it a first line drug ? is it for long term treatment ? is it safe and less side effect from another medicine ? does it give for young age with high blood presssure ? has anyone take amlodpine ?
i am 30 years old , i am taking amlidipine 5 mg and lisinopril 10 mg for 2 months blood pressure now 130/66
I cant take water bell like HCTZ becouse i used to have gout 3 years ago and doctor prefer not to taking coz its raise uric acid

all high blood pressure medications are for maintenance…means you have to take them forever…but, if your blood pessure before taking the drugs are90-120/60-90. ask your docotr if you still have to take them again at that time becuase in doing so could give you very low blood pressure…
amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker and lisinopril is an ace inhibor. since you’re taking both your blood pressure willl decrease for sure…there are side effects, but really very minor ones…itd still be best if you checked with your doctor..
