nephritis & high blood pressure?
information required very urgently.
case history:
male, age 48
history of prolonged high diabetes now well under control.
history high blood pressure, still not coming under control.
recently in past 4-5 months the serum creatinine is jumping, from 1.9 to 5.
diabetes now is controlled but b.p. is not coming don stays around 110/180. because of hi cretnine value dr. says they don’t have much choice for controlling b.p. sonography docent show much enlargement. creatinine going hi so dr. wants to do biopsy of kidney but cant proceed because of hi b.p.
its utter confusion & creatinine going up by day.
is this basically a nephritis or so cause of some other diseases or condition.
please suggest cause & treatment. very urgent.
case is in mumbai. India.
any alternative medicine or treatment welcome.

If you can get hold of alkaline water in your area, that may help.
I have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with nephritis and my renal doctors here were pressuring me to have a shunt surgically attached to my arm so I could have dialysis anytime soon. Of course, although the protein and creatinine present in my urine are both high, my rheumatologist do not agree to having my blood mechanically-filtered. Instead, he had me have a 6-month administration of DHEA (testosterone booster) on a once every 3 weeks therapy/
I began drinking alkaline water last month and so far, I felt much better. Not every patient with this condition are alike but, in my case, I was more than willing to try other ways of treatment because I’m getting tired of taking too many medicines that aren’t exactly kidney-friendly either. As much as I’d hate it, treating myself with alkaline was more worth my time than being subjected to more medicines that counter the bad affects of my immuno-suppressants (Prednisone, CellCept).

To help normalize your blood pressure, you must look for light activities at your place where you won’t get too emotional or tired. Always find ways to relax yourself. Take leisure walks in shady places or listen to music that aren’t too noisy. You can also write about your experiences with the disease in a journal book. UR lucky 2 b in Mumbai where good treatmnt is available. The first thing is that u have 2 b seen by a Nephrologist as well as a Urologist. UR doc knows what kind of specialists they r & can explain 2 u.
The problem that biopsy can’t b taken because of increased BP, can b solved by admitting u in the hospital 4 a brief period.
At this stage of the disease, u have 2 b in the hands of experts.
