still making milk…my kids are three!!?
My twins are going to be four in july. I breast fed them exclusivly for 6 mo, then my supply couldnt keep up with the demand. They liked formula better, so i quit. sad thing is, I have never dried up. I still make milk, it expresses very easily…when I do self breat exams it will come out..my boobs are sore all the time, and I have had a biospy done on a breast lump 6 years ago, it was just fibrocystic breast lumps…but this is obnoxious..I hurt all the time. I cant play rough with the kids, or let them cuddle too much, b/c the boobs dont like to be touched. severe pain. normal activity doesnt hurt, but should I be worried? I mean, Im 23, in relatively good health, but with high blood pressure. I also have no insurance and no doctor…what do I do? just ignore it like I have been? Like my bp?
ok, now Im a little worried. what is wrong with still making milk? I mean what are the health risks associated with this?

Try Planned Parenthood. They charge you a fee based on your income and lack of insurance. They deal with lots of female problems before, during and after pregnancy. If you are in the US you should be able to find one close to your area. I’ve heard wonderful things about them from friends and they don’t just deal with pregnancy issues. If you are outside of the US, look up clinics in your area. There are many places that try to provide care to people that can’t afford it. You can get help, you just have to start looking for it.
If you’re not breast feeding then you shouldn’t be making milk. You should be able to dry up and since you’re not then obviously there’s a problem. My expressing the milk you’re also encouraging your body to make more even though it helps get rid of the pain and pressure that you’d have otherwise. This is a problem for you and it shouldn’t be happening so go find a clinic or place like Planned Parenthood and get some help.
weirdo
You need medical advice and possibly chemical intervention asap girl.
You need it looked at immediately.
Go to a health clinic, or a walk in clinic.
