I have an untreated pfo, history of ministroke, but I’m confident I’ll get that fixed as I am only 24 and in otherwise good shape. However, I am really curious as to why I hear squeaking noises coming from my throat after my (exercise) heartbeat?

I am aware it could be p.tinnitus, but in that case it isn’t logical that another person could hear the sound. I believe it is coming from my vocal chords, because my girlfriend heard it after sex. It is a high pitched whistle after each heartbeat. How could an increase in blood pressure cause air to be pushed from my lungs with enough force to make a whistling sound, and is this something that I should be worried about?

Any educated answer will help me direct my questions to my cardiologist, I am by no means looking for a cure…thanks in advance.

Hi!

I’m 19 (male). I had urinary tract infection 10 days ago (had fever too). The UTI is gone now (I took Nitrofurantoin to cure UTI). I took Nitrofurantoin (Nintoin) for 1 week (100 mg tablet 3 times a day) Now doctor found that I have fatty liver (Triglyceride is 219.0 mg/dl). So he gave me Atorvastatin (Atova) for Dyslipidemia (10 mg 2 times a day for 1 month) and some diet restictions. Suddenly my blood pressure went high (after finishing the nintoin course) so the doc gave me Furosemide (Lasix, 1 tablet per day for 5 days) . So at the moment I’m taking 2 medicines Atova and Lasix and I’m feeling very bad…. sick! I’m having problem breathing (doc said i dont have heart and lung problems) and feeling very weak (dizzy) like a dead man! I’m not like this. Usually I’m a strong person. I don’t know, what’s exactly happening but I’m not feeling well. Please help. Thanks!

Is my double vision stress or cocaine?
I have had a hugh amount of stress recently including buying a house 6 weeks ago, starting up a decorating business last year and still struggling, Getting ripped off £2500 for a job last week and having my first child last week. I smoke weed most days and drink 8 cans of lager twice a week I also took quite a lot of cocaine over a couple of days for the first time in 2 years but I used to take a lot more. I had taken coke when my partner went into early labour which took 30hours. She had to stay in hospital for a week with the baby. During the week she was in hospital I juggled the business and employees, the house work (trying to get the house ready for the baby coming home) Fighting to collect the debt AND TRYING to spend every miniute I could with my partner and new baby in hospital, Then at nights I was taking a bit of cocaine. I got so stressed I was constantly had tears in my eyes for 2 days. The doctor gave me a small ammount of diazapam. Then we got the baby home, then the next morning I woke with double vision. (I had no cocain the night before) This went away after 1 hour. The hospital checked my blood pressure and my eyes and vision and put it down to stress but I didnt tell them about the cocaine. That night I drank beer and took a half gram of cocaine and the double vision came back while I was high. I have now had for 3 days, permanent double vision when both eyes are open only. When I look straight ahead my eye starts to stray on its own. Which is the cause and what is the cure?

The blood pressure values are normally distributed with a mean of 65.3 and stand dev of 10.3. Find the reading which separates the bottom 81 % from the top 19 % ( hint use Z score formula)

For the last 7+ years, I have been impotent, starting around age 29. I do not get mornig erections and and I can only get a half erection after much physical stimulation (about 20 minutes) so I can barely masturbate. I haven’t had sex for many years and they few times I had the opportunity, I could not get an erection even after an hour+ of foreplay. I stopped drinking 2 years ago, and have been on a high protein, low fat diet diet for 4 years. I work out 3-5 days a week and my blood pressure is under the 120/80 mark. Cialis and viagra don’t work after repeated tries. My urologist has no advice, recommendations or solutions. I feel like I have tried everything, to no avail. As you can imagine, this is causing more than a little distress. What else can I do?

I have been having severe headaches for about the last 3 weeks or so. I am 21.5 weeks pregnant. Today i had my monthly appt with my OB and she prescribed me fioricet to take for pain. I was wondering if anyone else has taken this before during pregnancy? I am very sensitive to pain medicine, so i am concerned about taking it. What were your side effects to the medicine?

My blood pressure is normal, but they have been monitoring me more closely. Also does anyone have any kind of remedies for headaches that i may not have heard of? Thank You!

Throughout the world, the use of modern medicine is decreasing as people are now looking for a more natural way to get healthy. People have especially turned to the use of reflexology, yoga and herbal medications amongst the other remedies.

Lisa Medical Center is one of the most famous places for herbal medication in India. They supply people with 100% natural pills made out of a variety of herbs. They sell pills and ointments for most of the diseases known to man, including blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, leprosy as well as obesity.

The best thing about this center is that each patient is observed by well trained doctors. Before these doctors prescribe any sorts of medication to patients, they make sure that the patient receives a full body check-up and that he informs them about your medical history. If the patient had been taking other medications, they will suggest that he takes the previous medication together with the herbal medication until his health status is
stable.

Probably the greatest advantage of Lisa pills is that they have helped cure many diseases that would have otherwise been incurable. According to modern medicine, people with certain types of disease need to keep on taking medication for the rest of their lives. In addition to being expensive, these modern medicines have side-effects that eventually lead to serious problems such as liver failure.

In conclusion, natural remedies are the best and most efficient ways to treat and cure most diseases. In emergency cases though, the use of modern medicine is extremely helpful.

please tell me if i have punctuation mistakes, if it is boring of if there is any way i can make it better and if i am repeating words too many times

THANKS AND GOD BLESS U ALL!!!

My dad is 67 years old and his blood pressure is a little bit higher than normal but not too much. A year ago, my dad had a short term brain attack which made his entire left side of his body numb, especially his left arm, hand and fist. he says his left hand falls asleep and tingles frequently. He visited a doctor but he wasn’t able to tell my dad what was wrong with him. He really wants to know what’s going on and how should he cure the tingling sensation. is there any medicine for that?
He went through MRI in a hospital and the doctor told him it didn’t leave any mark in his brain.

I have taken Tums, Nexium and AlkaSeltzer. My blood pressure has been running 160/100 – 170/110 for the past 3 days and I just can’t seem to get any relief. Could the 2 be related. I had a mild heart attack in 2005 and the feeling is similar to the way I felt a few days before. I feel like I may be working myself up over nothing but a little gas or indigestion…am I crazy?

The rest of my body is lovely and firm. I’m always asked if I am pregnant… even today, and I just did a 12 day body cleanse. I got rid of fat everywhere except my tummy. I’m getting so frusterated and depressed! I can do 60 situps in 60 seconds(I should only be able to do 42 max, but I work it so hard that it’s gotten rediculous,) my blood pressure is athletic. My body is healthy, but I have a 38" waistline! I need help, and I want a natural, safe, uninvasive remedy for my puffy tummy. I’m about to go anorexic, lipo or bulemic if I don’t get some results soon.

I am 51 years old, and my blood pressure is currently 152/105 – 126/82
I am trying to lower it through natural remedy before considering medication, any suggestions?
I am already exercising and watching what i eat, is there anything else i can do besides this?
natural remedy instead of medication

I want to go on a juice fast for my health sake. I do not plan to use a juicer but rather a blender. I am weak minded and have beat myself up so that my morale is all but gone. I am 100 pounds overweight and greatly need to detox. Is there anyone out there WHO IS JUICING? How do I motivate myself, for I am a meat lover?. The meat has caused my blood pressure to rise and the grease does not help. I would like to learn to eat lightly with juicing.

I know that EVERYONE has a diet remedy or opinion. I do not want your remedy or opinion. I need to juice and am not interesting in counting calories and the foolishness that goes with it. THERE ARE MANY JUICERS OUT THERE, AND I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU GUY. It will motivate me.

I have been using ACV for a couple weeks now and have been noticing better control of sugar levels and blood pressure.. has anyone else tried this remedy?

I was recently released from the hospital 2 weeks ago for high potassium levels and a new blood pressure pill in hand to take. Now I have from this 2 day weekend off, swollen feet and ankles with legs hurting every step. I am sure legs are swollen too. They are painful in these areas especially sitting up or walking-the stairs drive me crazy.I have legs up in the air-flat on back as I lay down. I can’t get in the medical clinic till Wednesday nor can I miss work which is this afternoon. I am a liver transplant reciprocate since 2001 with no issues from the liver. Please answer if it could be high potassium and with a quick cure. I have tried ice with feet in air but no response.

I want to lose weight and lower my blood pressure but I don’t want to use those expensive supplements they always are advertising.

I’m going to a doctor soon, but I’m having some insane bouts of vertigo!
I monitor my blood pressure daily and its near perfect, but I get these random episodes where when I lay my head down, or tilt it backward It feels like I’m on a marry-go-round. The whole world will spin one direction and then the other. Its really terrifying and unnerving. I Had a cold about.. I don’t know a month ago, but don’t feel like I have an ear infection at all, just wondering if there is anything I can do to stop the spinning until I get in to see him next week? I feel like I’m going insane! The spinning dosn’t make me sick to my stomach or anything its just really annoying! It feels the same way one would going to bed after drinking too much. I tried hanging my hand off the bed like they tell you to do when you’re drunk but nothing stops the spinning unless I sit up, and I’m not the best at sleeping this way! Any suggestions to tide me over and stop the spinning until I get in? Thanks!

He apparently is constipated but passes stools every day or two. It causes him terrible pain to pass large, bulky motions. He has to push so hard, I worry about his blood pressure at that point. The poo often breaks off and gets stuck in his anus causing even more distress. It culminates in slight tearing and bleeding of his anus which is obviously very painful and sore. It is normal colour and fairly soft – not dark small pebbles like you’d expect for constipation. GP’s advise senna but when I was giving it regularly I think it was making matters worse as he was passing ’smears’ of poo in his nappy all day long. I also think it could of been giving him tummy aches. He has a healthy varied diet and although dislikes most fruit and fruit juice, he eats lots of veg and drinks copious amounts of water. Any suggestions of the cause and/or natural remedies greatly appreciated.

For the past two weeks (its gonna be two weeks…more like a week and a half) or so, I’ve been dealing with a bloody nose waaaay too often :_

At first I kinda panicked, thinking it could be from dehydration to blood pressure to some kind of problem with blood flow/circulation.
So, I cut off my salt uses, drank water (i’m sick of water…but i can’t complain) instead of soda/anything too sugary, I’ve done just about everything, ya know?

But now its to the point where I blow my nose and it starts to bleed, or I’m sleeping and lay on one side and have blood rush to that nostril. It’s starting to get frustrating. My dad says if this doesn’t stop by at least wednesday, I gotta go the hospital…and I hate going there…

As far as body goes, I’m rather fit/muscular/in shape, I have a pretty good build (I’m the running back for my schools football team).

So no lectures on me being stubborn, please, I just want some sure-fire ways to prevent and stop this.

I have just come out in a blotchy rash on my neck and face as i took one ibubofen tablet for ny bad back. i also take meds for blood pressure.I cant say i cant dtand the rash ,as my backache has gone ,But do you know of any natural remedeis to cool the rash down .Thanks.

Hello every one, i had a terrible day today, just got my readings for my pressure at home with the machine that my grandma uses. I never expect to have these readings: 147/96 ! According to some websites, this is considered hypertension!! but i dont know what to do! how can i lower me blood pressure? can i cure it? or am i gonna live with it with the rest of my life? please i need some help! i am relatively alone!
I am very skinny highly active, weigh about 137 lb and 1.70cm high!

I’ve tried just about all the usual remedies – good night’s sleep, exercise, vitamins, I eat healthy, I don’t take any meds, I’m not pregnant. It could be something like chronic fatigue, but I feel like the chemicals in my body just aren’t balanced. Sometimes I even get dizzy and uncoordinated. Does anyone know of any conditions, especially related to endocrine imbalances, that I could look into or talk to my doctor about. I can barely sit here and type! I’ve been tested for mono, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, cholesterol. I just don’t know what to do to make it stop!!!

I am suffering from problem of having ejaculation with our reaching orgasm . Suffering from blood pressure and have cyst in kidney .What is the best treatment available

This is a repost because I didn’t get but one answer in the category I placed it so I will try again!

I made an appointment with my long time physician for a flu shot. Upon arriving, the nurse confirmed my reason for the visit; i.e. Flu Shot while taking my blood pressure, etc. When the Dr. came in, he informed me they were out of flu shots because they had not yet received any! I asked why I wasn’t told this before taking 2 hours of my day to see. He apologized and then asked if I had any other concerns. I told him jokingly "Only if you have a miracle cure for getting old. This old body is slowing down". He took out his script pad, wrote something, and then told me to take it to the front desk. Upon handing it to the receptionist, she pulled out a bottle of "juice" and asked for . I was confused and asked her what it was and why it wasn’t billable to my insurance. She said it was a new product the Dr. strongly believed in. A miracle juice high in antioxidants, replaces my vitamins, and has been known to prevent certain types of cancers. It’s not medicine and therefor, not billable". In addition, they were only accepting cash payments- no checks, no credit cards. I didn’t buy it.

I had my daughter look up the name and found out it is an MLM juice product.

I feel ripped off- violated by my doctor. I felt he took advantage of an opportunity to push his side business by not letting me know from the start that the flu shot was not available. I don’t think my Dr. should get any money for this office visit. Do I have a recourse that will make him realize that patients don’t go to office visits to participate in his new MLM venture? Aside from not returning to him, would calling my insurance carrier do any good? How about a complaint with the medical board? Or is this a case of "He owns his own practice and he can do what he wants?"

My grandma was feeling pain and took two pills of vicodin. Now her blood pressure is so high that she’s at risk of a stroke. She has a cruise tomorrow and doesn’t want to cancel. What can she do to lower her blood pressure and lessen the side effects of the vicodin?

My feet is very cold in the winter , what ’s the permanent remedy for that, is there anyway could improve the circulation of blood of my feed, or I need a higher blood pressure?

I have been menstrating for about 2 weeks and I am very weak. I have gone to 2 doctors and they both said just wait it out. One wanted to give me birth control, but everytime I take it, it makes my blood pressure go up. Does anyone know of any home based remedy that might make it go off or at least help it to not be soooooo heavy?

How to keep it down?? Any dietary guidelines or suggestions any herbal remedy that can be helpful in lowering the blood pressure to its normal range. no medication plzzz

I have a chemical imbalance, which brought on anxiety when I was 9 years old. I’m 20 right now so it was awhile now that I’ve had it. I am currently being weaned off Paxil so I’m experiencing some anxiety symptoms again. It all started back in November of last year. When I am at work lifeguarding, I sometimes get stressed and I feel my heart beating (palpitations) and it feels like I’m on the verge of a panic attack. Then my eyes will have very quick flashes that last only a second, like a blink. Sometimes they’re white sometimes they’re black. These ONLY happen at work, NOT at home or any other time. I know it’s from my anxiety because I got checked by my GP in November AND January and he said both times there’s no intracranial pressure in my eyes, and no damage. I was wondering, is there any remedies or techniques you guys use to calm yourself down?

I’ve experienced this for almost 6 months now and it hasn’t gotten worse, so I know it’s nothing major. It’s anxiety, and in my opinion possibly blood pressure/sugar related.

Thanks!

Hubby has low sperm count. He seems to think it could be because of his blood pressure pills.
He doesn’t want to get intervention from an infertility doc. Now what? Are there any natural remedies?

Ive lost over 50lbs and the recruiter is sending me to MEPS. Im just alittle worried. I have what my high school doctor called white coat syndrome. I get really nervous around doctors and my blood pressure goes over the acceptable limit. When Im at home and do it myself the numbers are fine. Are there any herbal remedies that can help me with my nervousness or lower my BP so it doesn’t rise high enough to DQ me.

My feet look like they are just about to pop because of pitted edema. Doctors say it’s because of a certain blood pressure pill I am on and now I am having to take prednisone due to having severe bronchitis. I am on Lasix but it does not seem to be helping. I have been propping my feet up …not helping. Any more suggestions? I am open to any and all suggestions!!

A male I know has been on blood pressure pills for about six months and is now having some E.D. problems…..if he doesn’t take them he can’t get an erection and if he does it is hard for him to. Are there some herbal remedies or vitamins he can take ….honestly it is hard to afford Viagra or stuff like that at like a pill. ANy advice would be appreciated and I would also appreciate no stupid rude answers like you get on polls and surveys.

i gone through the kidney tests, blood sugar, urin test. all reports are normal. Even then usually i have blood pressure of 150/100 and heart bits are normally 83.

He doesn’t want to take medication. Is there a herbal remedy that will lower his blood pressure? Something from the health food store that is easily purchased?

i am a blood pressure patient and i am taking medicnes for the past 15 years.age 60.

I have been on Lisinopril(40 mg) for a few months and my blood pressure has went down but the side effects are very uncomfortable(coughing, blurry eye sight, slight dizziness).

My blood pressure still needs to be lower(I’m now at 140-150/77-80 and my pulse is always in the 60’s) but I want to get off this medication. My heart is fine, so no problem there.

After searching online for a natural remedy I came across this….http://www.levodyn.com/index.html

I see my doctor on the 23rd of this month and hopefully I can tell him this is what I want to use instead of the Lisinopril. Has anyone ever used it or heard of it before? Thanks.

had plus 2 portein in my urine yesterday at my appt. and also gained 4 pounds in 4 days. I had to go back today for blood work and when tey retook my blood pressure it was 148/104…. I’ve been having headaches, seeing spots, dizzy etc. ALL of which I told my doctor about…. his remedy was to tell me to go home and rest (which BEFORE I had my appt today I took a 3 hour nap… woke up at 2:30pm and left for my appt. at 2:40pm) I figured since I was napping my blood pressure would be down. I’m waiting on a call back from my doctor, but has this happened to anyone else? What would you all suggest?
Like I said… I AM waiting on a return call from my doctor!
that’s plus 2 protein* in my urine… sorry

My 71 yr old dad suffered bleeding stroke in 2002. I’m unsure of which blood press. med he was put on, and he was put on aspirin as well. At a family reunion yesterday, he confided to my sister that he just had a dizzy spell and has been getting them at home. My sister took his blood pressure, 136/115, and was immediately concerned. Dad divulged that he had stopped taking his blood pressure med and cancelled his last scheduled doc’s appt, in lieu of the self-medicating regimen my mother has him on with herbal and natural remedies. Mother is rather controlling–could she be in any legal trouble if Dad has a medical emergency or worse as a result of her natural and herbal remedies replacing doctor’s prescribed meds? My folks and sisters all live in the same area–the reunion took place 9 hrs away and I was already on the way home when this revelation took place.

I am a staunch homeopathy remedy follower. Can someone guide me about the right remedy for epigastric reflux at the age of 66 years, No other ailments at all. No diabetes, no Blood pressure no Cholesterol at all.

I’m too young and my blood pressure is too low to take preventatives and I have no family history.

his blood pressure was 100/140 whn we first time monitored it but after cutting down salt intake it has stagnated at 90/135/140. He is 5-10 inches tall and weighs approx 73-75 kgs. Doesnt take alcohol , or smoke. Is an army officer so was high on physical activities earlier. But his dad has it..so could he be the target of hypertension too. We dont want to start medicines. He is having a herbal remedy and also doing a bit of yoga and long walks daily. Low salt..wld this help???

I’ve been really, really stressed lately with a lot of problems happening in my life. Today I felt very short of breath, my chest was very tight and constricted, and I keep getting tingly/dizzy feelings. I decided to check my blood pressure, because hypertension runs in m family on both sides, and it was 146/98. I’m 21 years old. This, obviously, is very high. I’m still feeling it really strongly. I’m having a lot of trouble breathing and my chest is very tight. Does anyone know anything I can do to get myself to calm down a little so my blood pressure will drop enough that I feel comforable at least? I’ve been feeling this way off and on for a few weeks now but today it got a lot worse. If it doesn’t improve in the next few days I may go see a doctor… but are there any natural remedies I can try for now? i just get really frustrated when I can’t breathe good enough and my chest feels this way…

Hi, I am 19 years old 5.11 and 170 pound and have always been pretty athletic all my life. In this, I consumed a extraordinary amount of strong coffee. I did this because I was able to exuberantly play soccer daily for months with an adrenaline rush. I ATTEST VERY STUPID OF ME!

However, Now i no longer drink coffee other then once a day. I am now joining the air force and my blood pressure but my blood pressure outstandingly high 160/61!

PLEASE help with consultation in any form what-so-ever,….tips, crazy remedies, diets, anything please please please please please help! I’ll appreciate it very much! Thank you

Well it seems that the new year is going to bring a new life into our lives! While I was at work on New Years Eve night, I passed out cold. After being ambulanced to the naval hospital, they did a battery of tests on me and couldn’t find anything wrong at first. My blood pressure was 100% normal. No protein in my urine or anything like that. I had been feeling queasy & light headed since New Years Eve morning. But I just blew it off as nothing. Well they did a pregnancy test, and come to find out I’m pregnant! The numbers were extremely high. The ER doctor was really concerned for my health & safety. I was sent upstairs to see an ob/gyn in labor & delivery. An ultrasound was performed, and it has been determined that I am 19 weeks pregnant! My cycles are never come, or if they do, they are extremely light. I haven’t seen my period in about 4 and half months. I just thought it was normal. The sex of the baby is a girl. The ob/gyn did a complete health history on me, and he was satisfied that I will deliver a healthy baby. Before you ask, I have been taking prenatal vitamins & folic acid since before my last pregnancy. I like how the vitamins make me feel. I have a 7 1/2 year old son, 4 year old son, 9 month old daughter, and I’m 19 weeks pregnant with baby number 4.

This is my history of whether I should pump or go straight to formula.
Baby # 1: I delivered at 33 weeks 5 days. My breast milk didn’t come in until he was 10 days old. I had been taking a medication that was contraindicated for breast feeding moms. So he was on formula the whole time. He spent 23 days in the NICU.

Baby # 2: Is our foster son. We are adopting him at the end of february.

Baby # 3: She was born at 34 weeks 3 days. She spent 27 days in the NICU. She was on formula until my milk came in. I tried to get her to breast feed, but she wanted nothing to do with it. Then I pumped my milk for her until she was almost 6 months old. Almost over night my breast milk dried up, and then she went on to a lactose free organic milk based formula.

Baby # 4 is a girl, and she’s due at the end of May. Knowing my history, I will probably deliver her early as well. I’m prepared for all of the possibilities.

With my history of having a severe form of PCOS, I’m wondering if I should just put this newest miracle straight on to formula like I did with my oldest son. To be honest with you pumping was a pain! Having PCOS really, really sucks! This is my final pregnancy. I will be 39 when this little girl is born. I’m just trying to decide what is best for me & my family situation. As much as I would like to give her breast milk, I’m going to be busy enough with working & finishing school after she’s born.

I’m having a difficult time making this decision. I know breast is best, but formula is not poison. I’m just looking for some thoughts on this and my situation. Please no snide, rude, or nasty comments, thanks.
My breast milk didn’t come in until my oldest son was 10 days old. I had not been pumping before then.
Mama Jama, Those studies about breast fed children being smarter is complete nonsense! Me, my mother & my brother were all formula fed, and our IQ’s are well over 140. I carried a 3.8 through junior high, high school & college. Both of my sons were formula fed as well. My eldest has Aspergers Syndrome-(Autism) , and he’s in the GIFTED program. He is also in SECOND grade. My youngest son is in Pre-k, and he is headed in the same direction as my eldest. My daughter was both breast & formula head, she’s ahead in development & language for a 9 month old infant.

Al, I have SEVERE PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), many women with my disorder have an extremely difficult time producing breast milk. Here is a link to help you understand a little bit more about it: http://www.mobimotherhood.org/mm/article-pcos.aspx
I’m in the group of women that does NOT immediately produce breast milk right after birth. Just for the record, I tried to pump right after my daughter was born, but I had NO breast milk until she was 13 days old. Women with SEVERE PCOS have a harder time producing adequate amounts of breast milk.

I am a fairly healthy person, blood pressure and iron levels are good. Lately (the past week and a half) I’ve been having lots fo dizziness and some headaches. My chiropracter hasn’t been able to figure out what’s causing it yet. Though it could be related to allergies and quitting smoking (smoke free for 3 weeks now). Does anyone have suggestions for natural remedies to dizziness especially?

I don’t know how to answer part of my unit assessment (trigonometric functions). any help is appreciated!

Question 1 says: The blood pressure of a person at rest (120 over 80) is described by P=100+20sin6t
Determine from the formula, the rate at which the heart beats, in beats per minute. Assume that one complete cycle of the pressure function corresponds to one heartbeat.
That answer is 57.29 beats per minute.

Question 8 says:
A patient has a blood pressure of 130 over 95. If the patient has the same heart beat rate as in question 1, find the equation of the sinusoidal function that would model her blood pressure.

can anyone tell me what the p value is and how you got it?!?! i will love you forever! thank you!

I’m 59, 5′ 8", 170lbs. My blood pressure is 140 and the doc says it should be 120.

Can this be controlled with a low sodium diet or herbal remedies?

What are the consequences of not lowering to 120?

For comparison. When George Washington got sick before he died, the doctors thought at the time that sickness was caused by bad blood. So they would put leaches on people and even drain blood right out of the persons body to try and cure them. No sensible doctors today would take this approach and most of them would agree that it was this idiotic treatment that brought our first president to an earlier demise.

Today doctors know better. They know that you need your blood in you to help you fight off whatever infection you have and they know that loss of blood can make you sick and even kill you. So they don’t drain peoples blood any more.

Sometimes doctors put a saline solution into a person through an I V when they have lost a lot of blood. This dilutes the blood but keeps the blood pressure up enough to keep it circulating to critical areas of the body.

Somehow the current Congress has gotten this idea that you can cure an economy by bleeding it with taxes and diluting it with inflation. They look at our sick economy, and tell us the solution to getting things going again is to get more taxes into the government so it can dole out the money and prime the pump in these failing companies. So they Tax and Spend and inflate and pay some bureaucrats to write job descriptions to create new jobs that are "green" and then they say "have patience. You can’t turn around an ocean liner on a dime." You got to give it all some time to turn around and get some steam up again.

They pass new and higher taxes which takes billion of dollars and millions of jobs out of the economy in order to have a fund which they use to create thousands of jobs and then they say, "have patience. It will take some time to get this thing turned around."

Bleeding didn’t work for George Washington. The treatment killed him. Why does Obama think bleeding the economy through taxation and diluting it through inflation is going to cure it?

I made an appointment with my long time physician for a flu shot. Upon arriving, the nurse confirmed my reason for the visit while taking my blood pressure, etc. I sat in the room for 35 minutes before the Dr. came in. He informed me they were out of flu shots at which time I asked why I wasn’t called or told before hand.

I had my daughter look this up and found out it is an MLM juice product.

I feel ripped off. I don’t think my Dr. should get any money for this office visit. Do I have a recourse that will make him realize that patients don’t go to office visits to buy juice?
I didn’t purchase it. I gave my daughter the brochure. My question pertains to the Dr.’s failure to be ethical and consequently, billing my insurance for a visit that never should have been.

My blood pressure is 143/90. My doctor did not prescribe any medication. Is there any remedy which will help to lower it. I do exercise 3-4 times a week.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and was in labor and delivery 3 days ago due to elevated blood pressure and swelling of my hands, feet, and face and also dizziness. Nurses were able to get my blood pressure down by having me lay on my left side. I was instructed to go home and save all my urine for 24 hours and return it to the lab to be checked for protein in my urine. I was back in the doctor’s office today and was advised the protein level in my urine was way too high – was five times more than the normal amount. Since my blood pressure was normal today, I was advised that they would not be inducing labor and would just keep a close eye on me. Blood tests were performed as well and that came back okay. I am also 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I am still experiencing the dizziness and swelling. From what I know, delivering the baby is the only way to cure pre-eclampsia. But they are saying I don’t have it because my blood pressure was fine today, but what about the protein in my urine?
I believe my highest BP was 164/98 and my lowest reading has been 134/78

Hi All, Recently, my sister during her first pregnancy has faced a pre-eclampsia during her third trimester. The baby had been pre-delivered and put in incubator from then. We all expected that after her pregnancy, the preeclampsia symptoms would disappear.

But unfortunately, certain symptoms still persists till date for her. The symptoms include, not able to urinate in enough amounts and Blood Pressure (it’s been fluctuating a little high now and then and most of the times it is close to normal).

It’s been a week since my sister had pre-delivered.

Can someone, please tell me about postpartum preeclampsia? whether it is dangerous or can be cured 100%? How long will it take for her to recover? Will there be any danger to my sister’s life?

These are few of the questions which are bothering me since few days and i thought of coming up to you all for an answer.

Please suggest your experiences (if there are any) or any knowledge you have on the same.

Thank you all in advance and i do appreciate your reply.

Hi all! I gave birth to my daughter on Nov. 15th via c-section. I have a 15 month old son who was born c-section as well. Throughout this pregnancy I had some complications where around my 26th week I could not keep any food down, I had upper, right abdominal pain and I was super sick. When we went in they initially thought that it was my gallbladder and sent me in to do an ultra sound and did blood tests. Everything came back okay but they hospitalized me for ten days and did 2 endoscopys where they found ulcers lining my esophagus and then a biopsy which came up with nothing. They thought about removing my gallbladder but since there were no signs pointing towards it they decided to wait it out due to the risk to myself and my daughter. They decided to manage pain and nausea with Dilauded and promethazine. I was only taking 12 mg. of Dilauded a day and 25 mg. of promethazine once to twice a day. My daughter was born healthy and I was fine so they sent us home five days after she was born. Before I left they gave me my hepatitis and tetanus vaccines. I was fine up until a couple days ago when I started to feel super nauseated and dizzy. I got a migraine and was feeling horrible. I went to my doctor who checked me and said that I looked fine and it did not look like I had an infection or anything that was going on but he wanted to do a blood test to check to make sure everything was okay. Later that night the on-call oncologist called to tell me that my liver enzymes were high and she wanted me to come in to do some more tests first thing in the morning. I went in this morning and they did another blood test to see if my numbers went up, down, or stayed the same. I have not heard back from them yet and I am having major anxiety over the whole situation. I have an appointment with the G.I specialist in two weeks because he did not want to run any gallbladder tests so close to delivery of my baby girl. This morning when I went in for more blood tests my blood pressure was slightly elevated, my heart rate was up, and my doctor told me that my liver enzymes were only slightly elevated. Along with these symptoms I have had a headache that will not go away, My legs swelled up once I got home from the hospital and now they do not swell up as often but if I am on them to much they start to hurt and at night when I am asleep they hurt if I keep them in the same position to long. My left arm where I got the vaccinations is still sore but not as painful as it was the three days after I got the vaccinations. More of an uncomfortable feeling then a pain. I am nauseated but no throwing up. I have pain in my right side of my abdomen and my doctor said that is due to the muscles that are located on that side trying to heal because that was where the majority of my incision was. I have major anxiety when it comes to stuff like this so I am super shaky and I do not know if that is due to the stress of not knowing what is going on with my body or if it has to do with all the other stuff that is going on. I am dizzy, lightheaded and sometimes have muscle spasms. I am super tired but that could be due to the fact that I wake up with my newborn all night to feed her. Over-all I feel like crap and want to try to figure out what could be causing all of this so that I can get some rest and not worry that I am going to die in my sleep/ Has anybody eperienced anything like this? Could all of this be related to the vaccinations that I got? Does anybody know what could be causing all of this? What is the cure to elevated enzymes? What is the relation to the headache and elevated liver enzymes because everyone seems concerned that I have a headache but I have had migraines snce I was seven years old. Please help me calm my nerves! I wrote all of this yesterday and now to add to the fun I have lower left back pain. My doctor called to say that he is not to concerned about the whole thing but to keep my eye on it……..whatever that means. I am not sure I could get any more symptoms at this point and would like to know if anybody knows what this could be, what it could mean, and if I should ignore my doctor and go to the ER and make them run every test under the sun until they figure out what is wrong with me so I can feel better. :(

I just checked my blood pressure and it was really high..I don’t want to go to the doctor right now, i just want some home remedies that can lower it for now, such as a cold shower or anything.
Thanks in advance.

Well this is my story. I went the dentist to get my tooth pulled out well when I was there my blood pressure was checked and was told that it was too high and they said before they can remove the tooth I have to go see a doctor about my blood pressure..well it turns out the paper work they gave me to give to my doctor mentioned for them to test me "being hyperactive". What does that mean exactly? Is it common? Is there a cure? And I am a bit curious since my appointment isn’t till next month…is there a way I can know in advance based on me and personality, movements or attitude? Any information would help. I have tried the internet and it just gives me the basics. I would love to hear what you all have to say about it ..whether you have experienced it or know someone who has? Thanks in advance!

I need to lower my blood pressure.
Am planning to take garlic capsules .Does it help???what dosage should I use???
What other herbal remedies u recommend???
Pls note that am following a healthy diet.i work out.I do not smoke and i do not consume too much alchohol.
thanks

She is 7 and has 3 cyst on one her right kidney. Her dr says just to monitor her with yearly u/s is this really the only treatment Just to wait until the cyst kill her kidney then get a transplant. Her blood pressure is already on the high end. She also acts like it hurts she points to the exact spot of her kidneys when I asked. Isn’t there laser surgery to get them off. I am not happy with the plan of treatment. I also read there could be cyst elsewhere. Should I get them to do a MRI of her body. I know there isn’t a cure for PKD but should I just be made to wait it out if we know the ending.

My mom, who is in her early 60’s, was diagnosed with hypertension (170/90) and high cholesterol (245) about 10 months ago. Her doctor recommended that she take medication but she refuses. In fact, she has steadfastly refused to see the doctor again. She has rarely taken any medication over the years because she believes in natural remedies, which she finds by reading and conducting internet research. She has had no serious health issues prior to this blood pressure problem.

Since she was diagnosed she has lost 15 pounds and her blood pressure decreased to 153/85 (based on readings obtained at those self-service blood pressure chairs at pharmacies). She needs to lose another 25 pounds to get to her ideal weight, but she has maintained the 15-pound weight loss for about 4 months through exercise and says she will soon make more of an effort to lose the rest of the weight.

She stopped adding any salt to her food when she was in her 20’s. She is just now getting around to checking labels to determine sodium levels in bottled and packaged foods. She has cut out soy sauce, for example, since even the low sodium version has an amazing amount of sodium. Must she stop eating all foods that contain even low levels of sodium? She just discovered that no-fat yoghurt and low fat cottage cheese have small amounts of sodium (about 50-something mg). Should she wait until she loses all the weight and check her blood pressure then to see if it is normal before taking the extreme measure of giving up everything with any sodium, as she will wind up with a very limited diet? You can tell when she eats a high salt food because the next day she has huge bags under her eyes, so I’m thinking that her body may be particularly sensitive to salt.

Can weight loss alone decrease her blood pressure to normal or do we just have to wait and see what happens? Are there natural remedies that will lower blood pressure more than a few points? If not, can she take multiple natural remedies together that will accomplish this? I’m very worried because hypertension is called the "silent killer" for a reason and I believe she should take the medication, but she is irritated by my efforts (and those of other people who care about her) to convince her and now refuses to discuss this with anyone. She says she regrets telling us about her diagnosis and is threatening to keep her health issues to herself from now on.

I’d appreciate any responses regarding possible natural remedies. Please, no advice to continue trying to convince her to take medication. She is adamant she will not go that route and feels she is being harassed. Thanks.

ok so my daddy just had a heart surgery, and his heart is fine now, but his right eye, isnt, he cant see well with that eye, and it got worse in the 2 days, and he just went ot the eye doctor and they jsut came back and the eye doctor said that its an eye stroke(what is that, and is it possible?) and can it be cured? like if his blood pressure is normal and doesnt go high or something, cuz i just heard them talking about it and they said that its cuz of his blood pressure, so if he takes teh medicine for that will his eye get better?

I have seen 4 MDs and no 1 has figured out whats wrong with me. I think this is crazy after 2 years of all types of doctors and no one can say why i have these symptoms. One doctor says i have Fibromyalgia with costochondritis. With FMS i do have some of the symptoms but not all. The costochondritis i feel alot but my pains are all over my left side of chest which freaks me out when it hits. i also feel dizzy all the time and makes it very hard to work. My blood pressure stays high and i am very fatigue all the time. i have seen and had most everthing done but nothing can be found and theres no medication that has helped anything. any1 else have something like this and if so is there something that helps to feel almost normal again? Not sure why Fibromyalgia "if thats what i have" is not looked into for a cure becasue unless u have it u dont know how bad it sucks. thanks

My blood pressure is never high, but since losing weight, it now runs about 90/64. It also drops easily. Can that be the cause of headaches/lightheadedness?

Is there anything to remedy this? Other than gaining weight again, which I sure don’t want to do.

Thanks.

BANANAS

A professor at CCNY for a physiological psych class told his class about
Bananas. He said the expression ‘going bananas’ is from the effects of
Bananas on the brain. Read on:

Never, put your banana in the refrigerator!!!
This is interesting.
After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way
Again.

Bananas contain three natural sugars – sucrose, fructose and glucose
Combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial
Boost of energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide
Enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the
Number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.

But energy isn’t
The only way a banana can help us keep fit.It can
Also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and
Conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression:
According to a recent
Survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt
Much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan,
A type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you
Relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS:Forget the pills – eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it
Contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia:High
In iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and
So helps in cases of anemia.

Blood
Pressure:This unique
Tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it
Perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug
Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims
For the fruit’s ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain
Power:200 students at a
Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by
Eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain
Power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning
By making pupils more alert.

Constipation:
High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel
Action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers:
One of the quickest
Ways of curing a hangover is to
Make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach
And, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while
The milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn:Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if
You suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning
Sickness:Snacking on
Bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning
Sickness.

Mosquito bites:Before reaching for the insect bite cream,
Try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people
Find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves:
Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight
And at work? Studies at the
Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on
Comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients,
Researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs.
The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to
Control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every
Two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers:The
Banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its
Soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten
Without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity
And reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control:Many other cultures see bananas as a
‘cooling’ fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of
Expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to
Ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal
Affective Disorder (SAD):Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood
Enhancer tryptophan.

Smoking &Tobacco
Use:Bananas can also help
People trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the
Potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects
of nicotine withdrawal. < BR>

Stress:Potassium
is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the
brain and regulates your body’s water balance. When we are stressed, our
metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be
rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes:According to research in The New England Journal of
Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death
by strokes by as much as 40%!

Warts:Those
keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a
piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out.
Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, a banana
really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it
has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the
phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins
and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods
around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, ‘A
banana a day keeps the doctor away!’

PASS IT ON TO YOUR FRIENDS
PS: Bananas must be the reason monkeys are so happy all the time! I
will add one here; want a quick shine on our shoes?? Take the INSIDE of the
banana skin, and rub directly on the shoe…polish with dry cloth. Amazing
fruit!

I’m a high school senior and I have never left home for more than 5 days… and that was 7 years ago. I really want to go on the 19 day Europe trip with my school in June. The only problem is none of my friends are going except my boyfriend. I’m scared that I’ll get homesick, because when i get homesick i get ill like to the point of throwing up. Also my blood pressure drops when i get nervous sometimes so i’m scared i’ll be like ill and when i’m ill i get more homesick! gah. any suggestions?

I am attempting to do this. Started with Garlic pills for my blood pressure that also have ingredients that help the heart. Also taking Cinnamon tablets and Fenugreek for my diabetes and will be adding a high dose biotin capsule this week. Any one heard of this biotin cure? Although most days I feel pretty good, there are times when I just get a little nervous and will take my B/P & diabetes medication as a precaution. I have no way of monitoring my blood pressure at this time except when I go to the doctor.

I’d like to hear from people who have successfully gotten off their medications and are going all natural. Tell me how you did it and anything else that will put my mind at ease. I really want to stop taking my prescriptions (especially Avandia) but have some concerns. Thanks.

I was induced at 41 weeks because my blood pressure was too high (around 140/100 or something like that). I didn’t want to be induced. I wanted a completely natural childbirth and labor. But when I was a week over due and I was so impatient and had false labors several times in the last week and a half and the midwife said I needed to be induced, I agreed. Unlike apparently most induced labors, I had no pain medicine, no other interventions, and a relatively easy delivery. My baby had some health issues that he had to stay in the hospital longer for, but generally a healthy baby. His doctors really didn’t know what caused it, but said it probably was because of my blood pressure. His health issues made it very hard to breastfeed, and I ended up pumping breast milk for him because of him never really latching on properly. He is now on formula and healthy, but every time a make a bottle for him in public, I feel guilty and ashamed. Nearly all of the moms I know breastfeed only and some of them for longer than a year. I have one friend who weaned her 3 year old right about the time her second baby was born. I don’t know why I’m rambling about breastfeeding. It is like a stab in my heart, the fact that I didn’t persist like I should and I gave up. But my real question is why do I feel guilty about allowing myself to be induced…… I know my blood pressure was in a dangerous place and that I was late, but I still feel like nature failed me in that. I’m having a really bad self doubting episode right now and I’m venting it out on the internet because it’s 5am here and I have no other sounding board. Sorry…… Was induction my only choice at that stage? Or should I have insisted that my midwife allow me to have bed rest and wait and see? I’ve heard that pitocin is a nasty drug and it’s way over used. And that’s what was used on me. I have heard of a link between pitocin and autism and seen a link in my family. My brother was induced and is autistic, my nephew was induced and has slight autistic tendencies. One of the things I remember as a kid when my brother was diagnosed as autistic is that my mom blamed the pitocin on the autism. Is there a link? I’m not sure. My son is very active and social and doesn’t act anything like my brother did (according to my mom) when he was a baby, but there is still the doubt in my head.

I guess this self doubt is because I watched "The Business of Being Born" a few days ago about how dismal and intervention hungry the United States’ practices of childbirth are. It’s really scary and eye opening.

i just recently started taking 2-3 doses of ACV a day, 2 tablespoons per dose. sometimes i’ll chug it straight (yum!!), other times i would dilute it with water first and lately – i started mixing it with a small amount of orange juice – oh THANK GOSH for orange juice, as i can barely taste the nastiness of the ACV now.

i learned about ACV due to having higher blood pressure than normal and i heard this can help with that and it seems to have a lot of claims of being a wonder cure for everything under the sun.

i’ve also heard some negative aspects, like it can damage the enamel on the teeth or otherwise be harmful because of it’s acitic content.

i’ve done lots of research on the web, not sure what to believe…

would love to hear other people’s experiences with this

I am 30 yo and my blood pressure is 130/90 or 100, I eat without salt and no coffe but it is still high. I don’t want to take medecine, is there any natuaral remedy for it?

For a while my blood pressure has been about 150 and 140 is considered high. I can’t afford to go to a doctor so I was wondering if anyone knows of any home remedies that could lower it? And please don’t say oat meal.

Is using hibiscus tea as a natural remedy for elevated blood pressure safe and effective?

I was told by my doctor that my blood pressure was essentially nervous and emotional. He said that he wants to give me a pill next if my blood pressure does not get any better. I have some genetic predispositions so I am wondering if there is not a home remedy or something to reduce or control my blood pressure? My numbers are about 150/80 which are considerate mild readings I think, Thanks

I need to lower my blood pressure, and I don’t want to take a lot of medication. Does anyone know of any natural remedies that may help? I do not have any allergies, and I am consulting with my doctor. I am just looking for alternatives.

Suppose, good sir, that a person’s blood pressure at time t (in seconds) is p = 100 +18sin7t.

How many heartbeats per minute are predicted by the formula for p?

Since my Dr. has increased the dosage level of my blood pressure mediation, I have had little to no sex drive. I have been on it for 2 months now and I am missing my usual desire for sexual relations. What can I do to remedy this situation?

What herbs address hi blood pressure and how should they be taken? Willowfeather

I have been walking everyday for over a year and follow a healthy diet. Have lost 70 lbs. I know I look better and feel better, but my blood pressure is very high. It just won’t come down. I really would like to try a natural remedy. If anyone can help, I appreciate it. Thanks.

I recently went to my doctor and was diagnosed with blood pressure and high/bad cholesterol levels. He also advised me that if I didn’t do anything about it, my heart would severely get worse. Now I know what you must be thinking…"Some fat guy with a poor diet and exercises very little, if any at all." This could not be farther from the truth. I am barley in my 30’s, 74" tall, and weigh 210 pounds. My doctor prescribed medication for both the blood pressure and cholesterol; however he told me that it was ok to take OTC vitamins to help.

My question to you all is this: "Am I taking too much of the vitamins below?" This is what I am currently taking:

Morning time / 6:00am
Fish Oil 2400 mg
Vitamin D 1000 i.u.
Super B-Complex (1 tablet)

Night time / 6:00pm
Fish Oil 2400 mg
Vitamin D 1000 i.u.
Super B-Complex (1 tablet)
"One a day" Men’s Health Formula, vitamin (1 tablet)

I am currently pondering the idea of adding a low dose of Niacin into the regiment. Maybe 100mg a day and night…that is if I can withstand the flush effect.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

My blood pressure has been higher than normal lately and the Dr. says its from stress. I hate taking medicine so is there any home remedies that I can try? Thank you!

I have a friend with hight blood pressure, but she doesn’t suffer from this. She just had a baby and maybe that’s what’s going on. How can she lower it and take her headache away? Home remedies maybe?

My weight 89 Kg. Height 168 cm., My cholestrol 240 and
body mass 32 and my blood pressure more than 150/98

Is there any truth to the rumor/remedy that pickle juice/veniger will flush the sodium out of your system and reduce your blood pressure.
I am on meds but reading and discussing it this has been brought to mind.
Any one have an idea?

A drug affects a patient’s blood pressure. The patient’s blood pressure, p in millimeters of mercury (mm), soon after the drug is given is a function of the dose, q mg, so p= f(q). Match each statement in (a)-(d) with one of the formulas.
i) f(q) + 10 ii) f(q) -10 iii) f(q + 10) iv) f(q -10)
v) f(q) + 0.1 vi) f(q) -0.1 vii) 0.9f(q) viii) 0.1f(q)
ix) 1.1f(q)
_______ (a) the dose remains the same but the blood pressure is increased by 10 mm.
_______ (b) the dose is increased by 10 mg.
_______ (c) the blood pressure is decreased by 10%, while maintaining the same dose.
_______ (d) the blood pressure is increased by 10%, while maintaining the same dose.

First off this is a real question. I can get my dick hard and I can have sex, but here is the problem… I am having a hard time getting it up and when it is up if I don’t do something right then it goes away within seconds, I have about enough time to get the condom on if it is in my hands at the time. Here’s some background on me to help you fix my problem. <br>

I used to be CRAZY fat (400+ pounds) but I lost 150 pounds in five months and now I’m 270 pounds. I’m also 6′4 so keep that in mind. If it matters I am 6-7 inches long. Everyday I take ginkgo biloba, (120mg) men’s health formula one a day, an energy pill, and vitamin D calcium. (1200mg) <br>

So what is the problem and how do I fix it? It has been this way for like five years I think. Here is what goes through my mind. Blood pressure, some kind of pill I’m taking, (but it has kinda been this way for awhile so not sure about that) maybe my dick popped out of place? (this girl was riding it and ot crazy, ended up sitting on it wrong and big hurt for me, is that even possible?) Even considering taking a dick pill like enzite. (or however you spell it) Hope you got a laugh out of this, I know I did, never thought I’d even ask this question. AGAIN this is a real question and any info would be helpful, thanks!

My wife is having a hard time with her blood pressure. One minute it’s up, next, it’s down. She is on 3 meds but is getting off two, one of them (clonodine) is making it go high, getting off of it. What can I give her to make it go down quickly?

This is our history.I was induced at 39 weeks because Dr was worried about my blood pressure. Dr used a vacume which some how I was not aware of that during labor . I had an epidural . When he was finally born he had a bubble on his head fron the vacume. So when they gave him to me I was breast feeding. He cried a cry that sounded like pain because of his sore head. The next day in the hospital they said he had jaundice and it was high for a new born and he was in nicu for 5 days. First his jaundice would not go down, they told me to supplement, then stop breast feeding for 24 hours,he had and iv, and it still went up.Finally on 6th day of his life he got to go home. His billi was finally going down on its own.I continued breast feeding, but he was not satisfied. In the hospital they were giving him 3 ounces.I still do not know if that much ids ok for a new born. How much do they eat? I only understand breast feeding is for 30 to 40 mins.So He still wanted more,he eats formula not satisfied.
I mean to say he eats formula , enfamile, for fussy babies, and just hours ago I tried the one thickened with rice starch for babies who spt up. I burp him, hold him , change his diaper, and he cries allot.still.Why does he still cry.He is my second and I have a toddler and it is making life more difficult. My husband looks and acts very annoyed when he cries, and says he cries too much. What could be wrong if there is something wrong, how can i help him feel better to stop crying so much.

just looking for a short term fix for when i already took my medication, but blood pressure may still rise occasionally.

I know it was recalled around last May, but I’m pretty sure they came out with a different formula that is safer (still not FDA approved.) If they didn’t, are stores still allowed to sell it even if it’s been recalled? Does anyone know of negatives or bad sad effects from using it? I use it occasionally, and it gives me more energy when i workout, decreases my appetite, and speeds up my metabolism, but I had a doctors appointment on a day I took two pills (the maximum in a day they recommend if 4, I never take that many) and my blood pressure was abnormally high, and i never have had that issue before. It was definitely high due to the hydroxycut but I’m wondering if this is a big enough issue to stop taking it, because i definitely notice benefits from it.

My friend (female, age 54), when she gets on a treadmill or elliptical trainer etc) has her heart rate very quickly go up to a rather high percentage of her maximum heart rate. According to the formula of 220 – AGE = MAX HEART RATE, her heart should not ever go faster than 166. Her heart rate routinely gets up around 160 and it gets up there very quickly with not a lot of effort. Her blood pressure is usually fairly low, but she does have high cholesterol and is taking meds for that as well as some thyroid medication. Should I be worried about her?

I couldn’t sleep last night. So I got up and took my blood pressure.
My doctor want’s me to record it at various times. I felt good.
Pressure 187/113. My wife thinks I woory too much about it and that makes it go higher. I understand it might but not that high.
She wants me to stop all my meds. and just pray the rosary. This will cure me. Ain’t going to do it. Now to the question I have a very stressful life, take pills for that too, would stress make it that high ? My dr. said there’s a good chance I will have a stroke pretty soon or if I’m lucky just a heart attack.

I have been trying to reduce my blood pressure and loose weight for the last two months and while I did loose weight at one point I seem to have stalled. I am looking for any way to loose weight and reduce my blood pressure with the need for drugs and am looking for any suggestions!

Please help urgently!

A clinic operates five branches within a country.
At any consultation the nurse is expected to collect information for a patient under the following headings:
Branch name
Name
Address
Phone number
Gender
Age
Name of Guardian
The doctor then attends to this patient collecting information on vital signs as follows
Date
Weight
Temperature
Blood Pressure
The consultation then takes effect to know what the patient is sick of , as follows:
Complain
Consultation
Lab Test
X-ray
Others
Treatment
Questions
Draw a design for a medical card in three sections for the activities above, so this information can be entered conveniently. 10mks
Which software would you prefer to use for this design for this card to print many copies that can be used all branches. 2mks
Task 2
You are now expected to design software to manage its activities. Using a spreadsheet application , relay your design into it and enter consultation for three patience. 15mks

Task three:
Given that each consultation cost 600, and a lab test varies from 250 to 15000, and X-ray cost 5000 and Treatment depends on the drugs bought.

… that garlic "inflames the baser passions".

♥Namaste♥

I have great respect for the Hindu faiths… but I feel in my heart that this thing about garlic is an incorrect addition of "man" to the divine truth found in Vedic scripture.

Garlic is a great blessing to my health… it fixes my sore throats (when I take it as a drink with water), prevents cancer (due to high selenium content), prevents & cures high cholesterol & lowers blood pressure (scientifically proven), and clears my swollen (from allergies) nasal passages.

It is also virtually the ONLY spice that my family can tolerate without having physical or mental reactions. Our food would be completely bland without garlic, as we cannot tolerate any other herb. (I find that any other herbs makes my mind feel fuzzy & unclear, & some of them send me completely silly.)

I am wondering if any of you have personal experience to confirm this belief about garlic? Have you ever felt spiritually different from eating/not eating garlic?
Jayasri devi dasi… :-) I don’t see things so black & white to "throw the baby out with the bath water". I have a little experience with how God reveals things to people… & how easy it is for a little bit of opinion to creep in amongst the revelation in a moment of laxness. I guess that’s why each of us needs to know how to test each and every truth for ourselves… and thereby obtain conviction concerning our beliefs.

One fault in doctrine would not negate a whole system. But according to your explanation, it seems not to be a fault, anyway. Thank you for explaining so well.

I am afraid I could never give up garlic. I feel it is a miracle herb from God… could never think of it as otherwise, as I am so grateful for that wonderful herb.

I still am left unconvinced that it would contribute to a less spiritual state. I will have to experiment on this… but garlic has never made it difficult for me to connect with God.

Lollies, old meat, spices, artificial additives have.

i have to give up breastfeeding and im very upset about it. my daughter is a month old and i had planned on breastfeeding for at least six months. However i have blood pressure and heart problems so my cardiologist put me back on all my medications. I was trying to put them off for bf. i feel like a failure and that she only got to bf for one month. what formula is the best choice? and how do i not become engorged.. i cant have her feed off me anymore
im on midodrine which is a vasoconstictor, flonief a steriod, and a beta blocker. they also want to start hydration therapy on me with a PICC line within the next month
o yeah and Mestinon

I was telling my husband I love him and things I want for our baby who is 6 months…Then I was in the hospital and it was really bright and peaceful and I remember feeling myself fading..I swear I felt like I was really leaving my body but it didn’t hurt…just fading…The nurse was pinched my arm and said "hun its almost time you ahve almost no blood pressure" I was kind of sad and scared but I accepted it …i quickly called my sister to tell her i love her and to tell everyone i love them and dont do drugs and dont cut yourself and everything is ok" It was very peaceful although like I said I was a bit said and afraid especially watching my son and husband walk away and I said "You have to pick up formula now cause I cant breastfeed" Everyone was just so calm it was strange…I swear I felt like I almost died and just as I was dying in my dream my son woke up in his crib which is beside me and woke me up so I fed him and put him back to sleep then I had a panic attack and was scared to go back to bed but I eventually did realizing it was just a dream and now I am fine but this has been bothering me all day…

Migraines/Vision Issues after birth?
As a teenager and during college I had monthly migraines. Luckily they stopped occurring about two years prior to the birth of my son. Three days after giving birth I starting getting them again. The only difference was I only got the visual "aura" and not the debilitating headache. It would get to the point that my vision was so blurred I couldn’t see to function. Which is pretty scary when at home alone with a newborn. Anyway after checking my blood pressure and other factors my doctor determined that these "transient migraines" were do to the lack of estrogen from breast feeding. For this reason and because my son was tongue-tied and inefficient, we discontinued nursing and switched to formula.

I’m curious how many others have experienced something similar to this? Also, did anyone notice that their vision was different after having a baby? It seemed like my vision did not return to normal until my little guy was about 6 months old.

**I just realized I initially sent this question to parenting instead of newborn/infant**

I just took our blood pressure on one of the little automatic home monitors, honestly, I have been trying to find it because I was a bit worried about him.

He’s 58, over 6ft, not overweight, he’s usually a bit breathless on exertion (smoker), but he’s started having some headaches lately, and saying it’s too hot when I don’t think it’s hot in the house, so I was wondering about his heart and his blood pressure and I hunted down the monitor.

It measured me at 110/62 (I’m 40 and female) but it measured him at 116/107 – that diastolic is way too high isn’t it? I know he’s older and older people do have higher diastolic pressure, but I didn’t think he was really old enough for it to be that high.

At 58 (drinker/smoker) it this real bad at his age or just a bit high and something we could cure with lifestyle changes?

Thank you.

just in the last couple years have I been taking meds for it. The cure is worse than the illness. The medicines they have been giving me didnt bring it down much, so they loaded me up with 4x the original dose. Almost killed me, joint pain like you would not believe, Its been over a week now since I quit taking it and my wrists are still aching like crazy. So am I better off not taking the meds or should I look for some other way to lower my blood pressure?
when I stopped takng it, the doc prescribed another med, I took it the first day, could hardly get out of my chair. Havent taken another. I got to think that the cure is way worse that the sickness(If that is what it is). I would rather just die than suffer those side effects.

Hello, a few days ago about a half Biotest Spike Shooter, which contains

B12 (methylcobalamin) 1,500 mcg
SPIKE® Shooter Formula 1,057 mg
N-acetyl-L-tyrosine
Caffeine anhydrous 300mg
Yohimbine HCl

And aside from anxiety, and nausea I experienced severe heart palpitations for about 2-3 hours. Now I’m wondering if this was dangerous, I didn’t seek medical attention at the point but could this have been harmful to my heart? I don’t normally have heart palpitations and my blood pressure is normal.

4 weeks ago I started walking 2 miles/day and eating a heart healthy diet. My blood pressure has fallen from 150/100 to 128/80 in that time. I plan to continue. What other things can I do to keep my blood pressure under control.

I am an ASTHMA (a breath trouble or Decease) patient. I takes a tablet every night named ETO SALBETOL. (FORMULA: Etotylline + Salbutamol + bromhexine Tablets). I got too much shivering and extra faster heartbeats after taking this tablet. this shivering go continue for 4-5 hours then i get regular blood pressure, no shivering & normal heartbeats. My age is 23 but i am shivering like 90 year old man after taking this tablet, but there is no other option to kill the attack of this breath trouble. and because of asthma, i cant do any hard work, long walk or outdoor games. so my waist is 28 and my stomach is 34!!! :( very bad looking my figure is! give me another good tablet or Formula for asthma which would not give me side effects like shivering and give me a sure and safe way to reduce my stomach less that my chest. (well, i got this trouble in Heredity.) Thank you to all of you readers in advance, God bless you.

Blood plasma flows from a bag through a tube into a patient’s vein, where the blood pressure is 10 mmHg. The specific gravity of blood plasma at 37°C is 1.03. What is the minimum elevation the bag must have so the plasma flows into the vein?

Ive used the formula
P = P0 + density * g * h
10mmHg = 1.03 kg/m^3 * 9.81N/kg * h
is this correct and solve for h?

My blood pressure varied from DIASTOLIC 85 – 120 and SYSTOLIC 125 – 160. These values were noted within a month. My age is 27 yrs, Height 178 cm, Weight 84 kg. Further i got a comprehensive blood and urine tests which showed following abnormalities:

1)TSH : 17.98 µIU/ml
2)BILIRUBIN (INDIRECT) : 0.95 mg/dL
3)ALANINE TRANSAMINASE (SGPT) : 45.50 u/L
4)TRIGLYCERIDES : 232.10 mg%
5)VLDL CHOLESTROL : 46.42 mg%
6)LDL/HDL Ratio : 1.21
7)HEMOGRAM report says : MACROCYTOSIS

Can anyone guide me weather the problem is serious one. Should i go for Allopathy or Ayurveda for permanent cure. I wish to undergo some natural treatment.

Hi, im 23, heavy weight large build bout 240 and I have dealt with an ED issue for about 6 months or so, since early February, but never was stricken by ED before then. Ive determined my issues is due to stress and blood pressure. tried the usual stuff, male enhancers, cock rings KY, etc, but yet to get medical help for stress. Romance and sexual activity and sex in general is great, we’re happy, but stress is still an issue till i get help and id like to get it up easier.
I just bought a bottle of KY 2 in 1 tingling formula, now heres my question, will it help achieve an erection easier??? either way it is useful for the other stuff, so it wasnt a complete waste of money.
I have an interest in obtaining Cialis or Levitra, but

Also, any suggestion to help are appreciated and suggestions on going about lowering stress and blood pressure too

Thanks

Ok, just trying to give some background. So I’m 38.5 weeks pregnant and being induced on Monday, I’ll be 39 weeks then. I have been having A LOT of swelling ( the kind where even my toes get huge!). Today when I went into the doc’s they took my blood pressure 3x (because they couldn’t believe how high it was) and I have increased blood pressure now. The doctor said the baby is big and not much fluid for him, which could be causing him stress. I am getting a ultrasound tomorrow to get the about weight and to see if the baby is breech. He told me if the baby is under 9lbs and 4oz and is not breech I will not have to have a C section.

Ok so what I am wondering if anyone could help is

What exactly happens during an induction
What was you experience with it if you had one
How long were you in labor
Would you rather of had a C section
What do I need to bring to the hospital for the baby
What do I need for myself
Will they give me anything for the baby? I’ve heard that they give you some formula and diapers and bottles.

Anything else you would like to share would be GREAT! Thanks for your help!

Her blood pressure is so bad, she’s blown out the blood vessels in her eyes twice in the last year. I think her doctors are quacks, they just keep giving her more pills to take and now she is having kidney problems from all the drugs. I am looking for some natural remedies that might help.

I want to try to get off Micardis and control my blood pressure with herbal remedies.

I was wondering can a 18 year old take this?

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my second little girl. With my first, I started noticing around 34 weeks that as my uterus tightened with my Braxton Hicks contractions, I could feel my heart beating in my ears, my head felt like it was in a vice, and I could feel heat radiating off of my face. My doctor didn’t think much of it because my blood pressure was 90 over 50. At 38 weeks, my mom, who’s a nurse, started taking my blood pressure during these contractions and it was 120 over 110, which is apparently a very low "pulse pressure." I went to the hospital and they tried to send me home, because my blood pressure was normal. I made them keep me on the machine and I used nipple stimulation to induce some contractions. When they saw my blood pressure spikes, they immediately induced and gave me a c section 12 hours later. They told me I had toxemia and early preclampsia. The worst part was that they put me on magnesium for three days. It made me feel out of it and have HORRIBLE hot flashes every couple of minutes. I had to cover one eye to see anything because they wouldn’t focus together. It amplified all of my pain. I had to start my daughter on formula because the medicine was passed through breast milk and she came out all drugged out because of it. Now I wonder how long it had been high before I caught it! Now I’m feeling the same way during braxton hicks: heart pounding, head aches and pressure, ears ringing sometimes, blurred vision, trouble breathing. So here’s my question:

Are these symptoms of hypertension or are they just how braxton hicks contractions feel? Did anyone else’s BH feel like this? My mom’s out of town for a few weeks and I’m wondering if my baby and I are in serious danger if my blood pressure is getting that high again. What are the chances I’ll have to be on that dreadful medicine again? Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to thoroughly explain the situation. Thanks for the help.

I went to the doctor today, and after a picture perfect pregnancy, the doctor told me my blood pressure had gone up (not an unfamiliar condition to me, this is my second baby and I had preeclampsia with the first so bad the labor had to be induced) but when they did the urine test, they also found Ketones in my urine. For those unfamiliar with ketones, they are proteins which feed on muscle, usually due to starvation or uncontrolled diabetes. I eat VERY well, and I don’t have diabetes, or gestational diabetes. My question is, why are they showing up? Could it have something to do with the blood pressure? Has anyone else had this problem or similar? Have I done something wrong? How can I make them go away? I go back to the Doctor Tuesday, and if I don’t go into labor before then he will probably induce. Will that cure the problem?

When you are sick, say urinary track infection, doctor will prescribe a medicine(antibiotic for full course)after medication ,you are cure.Do not need to take more medicine,
But not when you have low or high pressure ,your doctor will prescribe you with medicine to control/regulate your blood pressure and you need to take it for the rest of your life.basically you are not cure and need to be dependent of the drug.Further down the road,as a result of medication,it lead to more problem, heart problem, then further down,it result in kidneys problem.doctor are not helping people but creating more health problem. When will there be a CURE???.
With medical science so advance ,there is still no cure in sight???

today i am 38 weeks, to my knowledge i am making no progress, but i don’t even know if that is for sure because my midwife hasn’t checked me at all.. i thought she would at 37 weeks but nope.. just the regular, heartbeat, blood pressure, weight and so on..
i’m in constant pain and i have these weird fears.. frankly, i really had my heart set on breastfeeding my son, cause i loved breastfeeding my daughter, but he’s going to be born with a cleft lip/palate and they told me i most likely won’t be able to breastfeed, they encourage me to pump but want to supplement him with formula after he’s born and still in the hospital…?? i find that depressing..
and then i have this horrible fear that i feel like crap about because i know he’s going to be born with a cleft i fear rejecting him, i can’t imagine i really would, i’ve been so looking forward to meeting him, but i have dreams where after i have the baby i don’t want to hold him or anything.. sigh.. I guess this isn’t a question…

After my twin girls were born (they will be 8 wks tomorrow), by emergency c/s (i was dialated to 5 and one of them turned "sideways") the dr closed everything up and we went to the recovery room, they could not get my blood pressure to go up it only continued to drop for 2 hrs after surgery. It was down to 60/30 the last time i looked. Another dr stepped in and told them there was a problem and they had to get me in for another emergency surgery. After the c/s there was internal bleeding left and I was told had I been older and unable to fight that I would have died (I was dying before the second surgery and my body was already in convulsions). Anyways due to all of this I have excessive medical bills, my twins were in the nursery and fed formula for 3 dys so we are still having b/f issues. Would you sue?. It’s not about money but it has happened to other women. Should this be allowed to continue to happen? I can’t seem to forget this happened and it has stressed my entire family out
I’m also a pharmacy technician so while in the recovery room my boyfriend was there with our newborn twins and I had to tell him to go with them when they moved the girls to the nursery so they could deal with me 1 on 1. After he left they decided to do the second surgery and the hospital never let anyone in my family know about the second surgery so you can imagine they all went crazy trying to find out where i was and no one knew anything. Once again this is not about money it’s about dr’s almost killing people and nothing being done so it continues to happen. Also my girls were perfectly healthy and had no reason to be in the nicu for 3 days so if you can imagine what my bills for that add up to maybe you can understand where i am coming from with this. Thank you in advance for your answers.
This all happened so fast before the second surgery that i was forced to sign an okay for a hysterectomy and was also given 11 units of blood due to the fact that they took out a blood clot the size of a football (the dr himself told me this). If you know anything about the human body you don’t have much more than that to start with.
You know Stacy I love people like you. What would the world do without you? For your info I have very good insurance as well as a good life and family so before you go trashing people you should really hope that nothing like this ever happens to you or your family. And trust me honey I have money and NO that’s not what this is about. Also to clear up some more of your b/s..I didn’t have the chance to question my girls being in the NICU..I was in surgery and in ICU myself for 3 day. Just a reminder to myself don’t feel bad about people like Stacy. Maybe someone will give her the reality gut check that she needs one day. But for her sake I hope she never has to go through what I have been through and my family and friends have gone through and I hope her children never have to chance losing their mother due to someone else’s hands.

At a given instant, the blood pressure in the heart is 1.90 104 Pa. If an artery in the brain is 0.50 m above the heart, what is the pressure in the artery? Ignore any pressure changes due to blood flow.

1060<mass density of blood that I use
which formula would i use since its in pascals?

I’m looking for a good weight loss supplement to start taking to help me lean out. I’ve used Slimming Formula before in the past (from beachbody) and it seemed to help a bit, but was checking to see if there is anything else more effective.

Note: I’m 23, have had 2 open heart surgeries and take daily medication for blood pressure. So I can’t take anything that could potentially raise my blood pressure like creatine, ripfuel etc…

Any Ideas?

Thanks!

I went to a clinic and they told me for my age(18)my blood pressure should be at 120-80,mine is between 140-148-80,my grandfather on my mom side had diebetes and my mom has it.There both kinda big and im really skinny. The nurse was sayin it’s probaly genetics. How can i bring it down?

I know the FDA banned ephedra based weight loss formulas in US in 2004. I lost over 25 lbs before without dieting using one of these type products so I would love to use this type product again.

A friend said they are using a new product made in US that has ephedra, but does not have any of the harmful effects of incresed heart rate or raised blood pressure.

Here is the site http://www.ximohealth.com/gregt

does anyone know if this is safe?

Children’s immune systems are very active and excludes them from being a high risk to foodbourne illness.

Excessive and prolonged use of stimulants can increase heart rate, but will not have any influence over insulin resistance or blood pressure.

Breast milk contains two important components called growth factors and immune factors that are not contained in formula.

Taking a prenatal vitamin is very important for a breastfeeding mother.

I keep using my formula and I keep getting an error, I’m screwing up somewhere, I need a little bit of help.

Mean systolic blood pressure for a sample of n = 12 men is x = 150, the standard deviation is s = 30 and 95% confidence interval.

This medicine treats well blood pressure and aging problems of human body that is normally common in old age people.

I donate blood on a regular basis, at least once a quarte, and have never had aproblem donating. Today I went to donate and could not because my blood pressure was too high. The lady said it could have a little to do with my two cups of coffee and bottle of coke I drank this morning, because of the caffeine. But then I also remembered that I took Sudafed PE last night for a bad headache. It is maximum strength Sinus & Allergy formula. I took one does at 6 pm, then another at 11 pm and tried to donate at noon today. Could this effect my blood pressure? I usually stay away from ANY medications for at least three days before a donation, but I just completely forgot, probably because my headache was so bad I was not thinking.

I have been working on a project for the past year experimenting with different drugs, chemicals, supplements, herbs, foods, exercises, sleep patterns etc. to come up with a solution to cure people of the ailments of depression, anxiety, lack of energy, irritability, and stress. I have a fairly good formula that works really well yet it increases blood pressure due to a higher adrenaline rate than normal. (The adrenaline is to give people energy). This includes a couple of foods, 2 drug pills, 2 supplements, a multivitamin, a certain amount of sleep per day, and a little exercise. Basically, you feel really great, things that aren’t so enjoyable are not so bad and things you somewhat enjoyed before, you really enjoy now. In addition the energy level is high, temptation to do bad things is low (because you are already happy) and you are more social and friendly b/c you are happy. Is it possible to take certain foods, supplements, or drugs to lower the blood pressure yet keep
adrenaline levels a little higher than normal?

I have been walking everyday for over a year and follow a healthy diet. Have lost 70 lbs. I know I look better and feel better, but my blood pressure is very high. It just won’t come down. I really would like to try a natural remedy. If anyone can help, I appreciate it. Thanks.

i am 28 years old, i am not formula with blood pressure scales and what is the number the consider more important top or bottom?

My blood pressure is 190 over 121. I need to bring it down. I don’t have insurance or medication. I need a overnight home remedy.

Are there remedies, like teas or vitamin pills that will keep blood pressure from getting too high?

father on treatment for hypertension asked to monitor his blood pressure periodically

I also have a swollen lympnode in my neck, it has not gone away for a month and has not responded to any antibiotic treatment. My blood test are all fine, but My blood pressure is slightly high. My thymus gland was spotted being swollen on a cat scan in which my doctor ordered, after my chest xray came back abnormal. I’m worried, of course, but could this be cancer, which is my biggest fear.

my father is 56 years old 3 years hypertensive newly diagnosed diabetes non smoker, thin , no heart problem had an infarction CVA 12 days back,MRI to his brain showed infarction in pons, had left hemiplegia after 4 days he started physiotherapy now he regained some power, I want to ask about prognosis and if he will be able to recover completely ? now his blood pressure is good after taking medication

Yesterday my husband was fine and then he started getting a dull ache in his chest (not in the center but more on his left side near his armpit). Then it got worse when he would breathe in, move suddenly or raise his arm.

He was in serious pain last night to the point of wanting to cry. His mother (respiratory therapist) came over and his lungs sounded good, heartbeat fine, blood pressure was good. He took advil and the pain went away. Today the pain is back, though not as bad as last night!

He mentioned it to someone he knows, and the guy said once he strained a muscle or something in his chest once and the pain sounded exactly like a broken blood vessel, which was what his friend was diagnosed with. So I am trying to find info about broken blood vessels and so far = nothing.

I just want to find out symptoms of a broken blood vessel, and treatments. Anyone know??

i am suffering hight blood pressure n cholesterol, pl suggest any good remedy in homeopathy.

The water treatment in question prescribes 4 x 160ml glasses of water every morning when waking but before washing the treeth. Then brush the teeth, and 45 minutes later one can drink or eat normally.
This procedure will cure the diseases of the sick and others can enjoy healthy life if taken during:
30 days for Blood Pressure and Diabetes
10 days for Gastric and constipation
90 days for TB
180 days for cancer.
I feel this too good to be true. Although I have nothing to loose in following the treatment, I wonder whether this is based on some scientific or medical research.
I will appreciate your views

I’ve asked before whether the media hate the Wings, and concluded that it’s just boring to say ‘The Wings are Very Good’ so they don’t say it.

Combine that with the Sid Crosby Fan Club – (and I don’t hate Sid, I’m a mom, and I think he’s an excellent player) am I likely to need treatment for my blood pressure if I listen to the commentary and analysis?

My mother was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma a few weeks ago, she has an 11.6 centimeter mass on her left kidney. She was hospitalized last weekend because they gave her morphine for pain, it dropped her blood pressure extemely low. That is when we found out the cancer had spread to other organs (liver, pancreas, lymph nodes and stomach) the doctors said she would only make it a few weeks to a month. That is when I looked into this cancer center, her insurance has been approved and they want to schedule her flight asap. I just want to know if anyone out there has had good results with ctca? I have a friend who goes with her mother who had breast cancer metasis to her liver and bone who goes to ctca and she said they were great. Are they as wonderful as my friends mom says?
My mom is also doing better now, she’s home from the hospital and she’s not as weeks and she’s eating . My mom says she’s ready to fight this.

My blood pressure was 174/82 and I have a headache and sleepy

I have an enlarged heart from 15 years of uncontrolled blood pressure. Give advise please.

A 21-year-old noncompliant female with a history of type I (insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus was found in a coma. Her blood glucose was high, as well as her urine glucose, urine ketones, and serum ketones. Her serum bicarbonate was < 12 mEq/L. Her respiration was exaggerated and his breath had an acetone odor. Her blood pressure was 90/60 and his pulse weak and rapid (120).

What is the cause of the dyspnea, hypotension, and tachycardia?

ok can some one pleas try and help me i got no idea what wrong with me

the dr. diagnosis me with a hematoma to the forearm, I am doing everything the dr orders but the hematoma is getting larger. the reason for the hematoma was caused by taking my blood pressure too much, it has no pain and no bruising. Can i have the wrong diagnosis . Is elevation and hot treatments all i can do?

My aunt had Parkinson’s disease and was found one day with facial drooping on one side. No scans were performed to confirm if she had a stroke or not. It was just assumed she had one. No treatment was given toward her recovery and she developed pneumonia quickly and died within days. Mind you, nothing was given to treat pneumonia either. She was previously fairly active (got out and about with me for dinner and shopping etc) and although her face was drooping the stroke diagnosis baffled me as her blood pressure was always low-moderate. Has anyone heard of someone with low-mod blood pressure suffering stroke or even those with Parkinson’s as no one in the know has yet given me any answers. Thanks.

Hello,

Everytime I head for bed and I lay down on one of my sides (left, right… doesn’t matter) …I feel my heart beating, so loud that I can’t fall asleep. This does not occur when I’m laying on my back. I’ve had Helicobacter Pylori diagnosed and I’ve been treated with anti-biotics, the heartbeats dissapeared during the treatment and a while after but now they’re back. The heartpulse also makes a cracking sound around my armpits. I’ve done two blood pressure tests on the same machine and they had two completely different readings:

first:
upper: 127 mmHg
lower: 77 mmHg
pulse: 65 ppm

second:
upper: 162 mmHg
lower: 87 mmHg
pulse: 55 mmHg

the second one worries me a bit, low pulse high pressure?

Is there a way to mute these annoying heartbeats? I miss sleeping like a rock. And should i worry about my pressure?

Thanks!

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first. At my routine appointment today my blood pressure was 140/90 which is high but usually it runs 170/80 which is very high. My blood pressure is always high at the office when they take it but i also have it checked by my mother who is a nurse every other day and it usually runs in the 130’s over 70’s. I am always nervous going to the doctor for checkups and I have no idea why. Anyway, my obgyn referred me to a high risk doctor and I was wondering what I can expect to happen at this visit. What are the treatment options and what are the odds that I will have to be hospitalized for the remainder of my pregnant or even deliver at 31 weeks? I am scared to death which i know only makes this worse as well but any serious answers would be greatly appreciated. Also there is no protein in my urine and i do not have gestational diabetes. I only get short of breath sometimes, other than that I feel fine. Thank you all in advance again.

coz i keep hearing that it’s not good for young people to take blood pressure reducing drugs, is it just something that people keep mumbelling about, or is it based on facts,
& what exactly about Angiotensin-converting Enzyme Inhibitors coz i read in wikipedia they’r used to treat heart failure (my heart is working fine)

My mother is 45 years old. She diagnosed with Lung Cancer (None Small Cell Cancer) a month before. She is now under Chemotherapy treatment. When we took her to the Doctor yesterday, the Nurse tried to check her Blood Pressure but it was so strange that her Blood Pressure could not appear in Blood Pressure Monitor. My elder brother told to the Doctor, he then checked her pulse it was OK but he didn’t describe that why can’t her blood pressure appear on the monitor.

So can anyone explain it that how is it possible? Please give me some information.

Thanks,

I’ve a blood pressure ranging between 90/50 and 95/54 and my heart beat rate is 44-49 ish (If that matters!).
I get dizzy whenever I stand up or sit down, making any sudden movements as well, plus headaches!!
I do drink a lot of water and coffee to raise my blood pressure but it’s not working, any other treatments that could work besides medication?
Oh and I’ve been tying to take vitamins but again….no use!!

Thanks in advance!!
Lucy: Yeah, I’m sure……I’ve been taking regular readings and it’s always in the same range, I’ll make sure to visit the doctor as soon as I can.

And I’ve been trying to increase the salt intake but it’s not making any difference!!
Thanks =)

My friend is having a Blood Pressure reading of 65/90.
Its been caused by the Emotional Disorder combined with malnutrition. What medication should be used in short term treatment as of now itself. and what should be the long term action plan.

I started taking Diovan 320mg this morning for my blood pressure. Has anyone had any experience with this medication, and any side effects or issues that you can recall having. Please list any positive experiences as well.

My husband just got his blood pressure back down to the normal rate. Before when his pressure was high he had no feelings for sex. Now, he just checked his BP and it is normal and he seems less tense. He is eatting more foods with less sodium and cholesterol. Since his bp is now normal, does that increase the sperm count?

The largest-ever study of treatments for diabetes has shown that a fixed combination of two blood pressure lowering drugs reduces the risk of death, as well as the risks of heart and kidney disease.

I am a 31 year old male. In excellent shape, 170 lbs 5′11 – I have unexplained hypertention. I have been on 40mgs of accupril for most of 9 years. I recently went to a cardiologist for an annual check up and received a echo and stress test, check for LVH and other cardiac issues. All results were normal. My blood pressure usually reads 125/80 w/ medication but recently I have been seeing lower diastolic pressures 125/65. My doctor added a diuretic to my treatment last year and I have stoped weight lifting which my cardiologist suggested might not be good for a hypertensive. Since then I have been running on average 8- 10 miles a week. Like i said my last cardio echo was perfect,…..could all this cardio and running be lowering my diastolic? If not what could it be if my echo’s are clean ?

For example if you borrowed a few from a friend to keep your blood pressure down to pass a physical which is required for a job I recently applied for until I can see a doctor to get my own. I know it’s not a good or ethical thing to do but I really have no choice at this point.
Thanks for your replies

The other day, I realized that there was a small hole in the cap/lid of my prescription bottle for lisinopril. Is this hole going to effect the pills? I am worried about this and need to stop worrying because it is bad for my blood pressure. Thank you and please help!

My blood pressure is usually normal or slightly high but i was in the store today and i checked my blood pressure and it was 146/82 i am also slightly over weight and i am also on beta blockers which should lower my blood pressure so i’m kinda scared. What are some at home treatments i can do?

what is the possible diagnosis of this? I need help with my homework. I don’t plan to plagiarize or anything.

A 56-year –old woman presents to her doctor’s office complaining of gradually progressive, nonpainful enlargement of the terminal joint on her left hand over a 9-month period. She has some stiffness with typing but not first thing in the morning. She also reports pain in her right knee, which occasionally “locks up.” The right knee also hurts after long walks. On examination, her blood pressure is 130/85 mm Hg, heart rate 80 bpm, and weight 285 lb.Examination reveals only a nontender enlargement of her left distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint, and the right knee is noted to have crepitus and slightly decreased range of motion. There is no redness or swelling.

My blood pressure is a bit too high. I know it comes from smoking and being overweight. My systolic reading usually runs from 128-138, and the diastolic is 89-99.
I have not been to the doctor, because I do not want to go on medicine. I’m going to try and lower my blood pressure through natural methods such as losing weight and to stop smoking.
Is what I am doing dangerous? Do I really need to go on medicine for my blood pressure?
Thanks!

Almost daily, I am dizzy and have blurred vision. It is during the morning hours that it is the worst. I don’t have the other symptoms (thirst and frequent urination) of diabetes, however. Recently, my blood pressure has been higher (160/110), during the morning hours, than usual. Though, it isn’t high every morning I feel dizzy and have blurred vision.

sometimes i feel a pressure or fullness in my ears/head. I didn’t know if it was blood pressure or sinus.

The result of the blood pressure reading at the doctor’s office is very important. The reading is recorded and if it is abnormal, a form of treatment is discussede, based on this one reading yet the way the doctor’s assistant take the blood pressure reading if improper could produce an incorrect reading. Some take it with arms down, some with arms extended, and others with the patient standing up. Each produced varying results. Isn’t it the correct way to have the arm patient sitting with the arm the same level as the heart?

For the past month my blood pressure has been high. My doctor put me on diltia XT and Diovan. After a week they are making me feel strange, heavy chested, cold and just plain lousy. Has anyone had anything different that they have tolerated better that I can ask my doctor about? Thanks.

I am a young adult female. 6 months ago I went on birth control pills for the first time, and at that time my blood pressure was 84/60. I just visited a doctor for treatment of a UTI and now my blood pressure is 135/86. I think this is abnormal for me…could the infection have elevated it? The only other thing that has changed is a bit more stress from school for me now.

I mean to ask how do we find out if one is suffering from cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure without checking blood samples?

I had a health screening last friday and because I have a big upper arm the nurse used a large cuff and my BP was scarily high (140/104). Today I got it measured at a blood pressure kiosk with a "normal" sized cuff and it was better (123/84).

I know both readings are high but I’m trying to track it to help decided if I want to take medication or not. I’m already trying to lose weight which I know will bring it down.

Would the stopping of blood pressure controlling medication encourage someone to make healthy lifestyle choices like eating healthy, adequate water intake and exercise? Would it encourage someone to make a lifestyle change much sooner than they otherwise might decide on a much later time? What do you think?

Just recently after seeing the doctor I find out my cholesterol and blood pressure is very high. I have to take medicine and exercise and watch what I eat. I have watch those Nutricious labels and salt in-take. Your advise is most appreciated and web sites to find good affordable nutricious food recipes

does anyone have a graph which shows how more alcohol intake increases blood pressure? for like a average aged person?

My doc just gave me a prescription for Atenolol 50mg.Taken once a day.I just started this medication on Thursday but my blood pressure is still very high with no signs of decrease.Does this stuff take a while to start working or will my doc probably have to raise the dosage? Thanks.

I was at the dr the other day for treatment of anxiety disorder, my blood pressure was 112/84 which he and the nurse said was good, my pulse was 88 which was probably up b/c I was so upset. Is my blood pressure okay though? Usually the bottom number isn’t over 80.
I’m a major hypochondriac so I have trouble believing dr’s that there’s nothing wrong :-)

I have my grandmother in ICU and they told us that the fluid that they take out of her body is being put back in with a medication that is keeping her blood pressure high so they can give her the dialysis treatment.

Is there anything else that can be done besides pumping her with fluid that can keep her blood pressure stable during the treatment? They are giving her two different types of medication through an IV to keep it from dropping.
Any advice would help. Thank you

I’m 22% body fat which is a bit below what I’m expected. I am meant to be between 25% – 30% so I’m not that far off. I eat well and such just want to be a bit healthier.

Also I have a Blood pressure test (at school so not very accurate) that said the bottom number was very high how do I lower that.
I was laughing while the test was done cause of my friends though.

I am just curious what can cause my blood pressure to change over night? It went from being very low to normal. Thanks

My mum suffers from hypertension and she is on alternative medicine and Yoga, which has helped to control the blood pressure to quite an extent. But since yesterday, she is complaining of spiining of head when she gets up from bed. I assume her blood pressue is risen now hennce asked her to rest and just lie on bed. I have also given her the allopathic medicine ( amlong – a) for it. But the situation hasnt improved.
It’s very early in the morning yet and the docs could be contacted only after few hours. Can anyone help me how to deal with this situation. She is 47 years old.

I really need to lose weight and lower my blood pressure. What is a diet that would address these issues?? I just realized that my microwave meals are LOADED with sodium. I am not a very good cook, also.

I had just gotten my blood pressure taken on a machine and the reading was like 140/70. I have been eating cold cut sandwiches every day for the entire year and believe that this is why it is high (it has never been high before this year). I was wondering if I could lower this in one week if i don’t eat anything high in salt?

I already know that a high fiber, low sodium, and low fat diet lowers your blood pressure. DUH. What I can’t seem to find is the reasons these things are true. I’m writing a paper on blood pressure and I’ve found so many great sources, but not one of them tells me the actual physiological reasons that this type of diet lowers blood pressure. If anyone could point me to some sources on this I would really appreciate it. Any doctors out there??? : )

I was hoping this question would be answered by a medical person.

My family member is on kidney-dialysis…meaning the intake of any excess water or salt can cause dangerous reactions in the body. At the dialysis center, to raise blood pressure they have the patient sit-up, swing the feet to increase blood flow, and eat a dill pickle.
I was wondering if there was anything else we might try.

Why would your blood pressure read 20 higher on your right arm versus your left

I was reading where one drink a day can lower blood pressure rates a bit for men, and reduce the rates of heart attacks. Does anyone in a medical field or from personal experience know the best type (wine, beer, ect.) to drink?
i am trying to find out what is the best form of alcohol, between maybe a red or white wine, beer, etc.

I am a 33 yr old guy. My doctor just put me on 25mg of Hydrochlorothiazide. One pill a day. I started taking yesterday. I have been monitoring my blood pressure constantly since. Its still way too high. Should I be concerned and call my physician or wait a few days for the medication to take effect.

My nurse today checked my blood pressure and it was cosiderably low. Just below the average though, not servere! I would like to know, what can I do to perhaps raise it a bit (I feel tired all the time etc) and what are the causes of blood pressure (I could do the opposite of these causes to perhaps increase my blood pressure).
Help appreciated! thanks! : )

I got my blood pressure taken today and my reading was 124/74. I did some resarch and my Diastolic (74) reading was great, but discovered that my Systolic (124) was considered "prehypertension." Normal would be 120 or lower. I’m a ways away from having hypertension, but I want to get out of that "prehypertension" catergory. What are some effective ways of lowering my blood pressure?

I’m tired of these pharmaceuticals. Can anyone direct me toward a RELIABLE and SAFE natural, holistic way to manage my blood pressure? It’s not crazy high, but due to other conditions I must keep it low.

I need to lower my blood pressure by the end of 3 days. I don’t need to lower it a whole lot, just a couple of points. please help and thanks.

I am 40 years old, and 29 weeks pregnant with baby number eight. I never get sick, and my blood pressure has always been perfect.
However, I have come down with severe head cold/flu type symptoms, and my blood pressure has risen to 155/88.
Should I be concerned? Perhaps get my blood pressure checked again in a few days?

What foods/medicines etc cause blood pressure to rise?

What can cause protein in urine?

I had 2+ on a urine test and my blood pressure is higher then usual. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I know that these are symptoms of preeclampsia. What I’m looking for are non-obvious reasons for protein to be in urine + blood pressure to rise. I have heard caffeine can make blood pressure go up. Anything else anyone can think of? Can eating a lot of protein cause protein in urine?

Don’t tell me to go to the doctor because I did. I’m working with my doctor. I just want more opinions. =)

particulerly when systolic blood pressure is borderline high?

I know that when you lift weights, you get a temporary increase in blood pressure. But over the long run, does weight training ultimately lower your blood pressure?

My blood pressure is been going up really bad. My last measurement was 170/112. It does not go down. My blood pressure was good until i began taking Lisinopril from Norvasc. Can anyone tell me was is the best option on treating blood pressure.

I have a seriously ill family member who is currently experiencing his blood pressure rising to dangerous levels when he gets up which causes blackouts. Does anyone know what causes a rise in blood pressure when you get up he currently just had a MRI but I would like to know where to look on the net. Most things state that your blood pressure drops when rising.

Thanks alot!
Thanks for your answer but that is why I am having problems searching for this everyone is assuming that it is low. He blackouts and his pressure is tested and it is rising drastically.
