I have gout and high blood pressure. I take Diova 160/25 and Norvasec for BP and Alopurinol for gout. I get swelling in the legs. My doctors can’t fix this problem. When they change the drugs or doze my blood pressure goes up and I get gout attack….anyone out there who has my problem?

is it a first line drug ? is it for long term treatment ? is it safe and less side effect from another medicine ? does it give for young age with high blood presssure ? has anyone take amlodpine ?

If it can why doesn’t the Doctor emphasize it?I’m not a water drinker, but I’m only reminded to drink water when I’m giving blood for a test, sometimes and to help with weight loss. I’m wondering if it would lessen ‘gout’ symptoms in my big toe joint also.
