Last year my mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer. She already has diabetes and MS. The thought of any of her ailments being inherited to me or any of my four children was terrifying.
I did much research, and finally found something that truly made sense to me. RAW food. I have been enjoying the benefits from it for some time, and am now enjoying living with alkaline blood. My husband is mostly raw, and loves everything I prepare. He still enjoys eating cooked food, dairy and occasionally meat, but 70% of his diet is raw.
My children, ranging from 7-16years are "grossed out" by it. With encouragement, they are consuming less pasteurized dairy products, and eating more greens.
Does anyone know of any steps I can take to further encourage their participation in this lifestyle that has me feeling so good?
Some of you will inevitably attack raw vegan food… but know this… this diet has cured me of gum disease, chronic acne, cluster headaches and high blood pressure… so whatever your argument, make it good… because unless you have been raw, you couldn’t possibly know the true benefits of it.

I am really struggling managing symptoms for something that is supposed to be really good! Any help would be greatly appreciated….

In addition to postural hypotension (which can be managed by sitting/lying down) I also get dizzy and lightheaded, my skin gets clammy and I feel nauseous. I am also tired all the time, despite eating greens, jogging every other day, sleeping the requisite 8 hours and drinking plenty of water.

What’s going on???
