Hi my mother is 54 years old and having strange symptoms. She is suffering from chronic high blood pressure since a long time now and got dengue fever around 20 days ago. She has been cured now and her blood platelet count is back to normal. She is having normal range blood pressure like 117 by 73 which never used to be attained before but her pulse is between 50-59. She does less work but suddenly she gets very dizzy & today she told me that her ears start blocking and she has to lie down for a while. i checked her pulse and it is 54. i cannot figure out what has happened to her.
Ok so the question is… Do people who are prescribed beta blockers for high blood pressure gotta take it forever or does there come a time where these people actually stop needing it?
do they actually cure it?
i am 59 years old,had a complete hysterectomy in 1990.never suffered with hot flashes, but its been about a month, and they are affecting me horrible.i took estrogen for a while after my surgery. now i take anti deppresents and high blood pressure medication, but they are of no help.is there anything i can do to relieve them.HELP…
So, I’m 17, 110 Ibs, and have been diagnosed with hypotension – low blood pressure. It’s better than high blood pressure, but there’s some pretty bad symptoms that come with it – when I’m sitting down for even a few minutes, and then go to get up (however slowly), it feels like all the blood rushes to my head, and I can get fairly dizzy. I can also see the capillaries behind my eyes when this happens. It feels like my head gets all tense and heavy.
Went to the doctor. "Oh, just get up slowly, drink lots of water…"
Uh, yeah. That’s not helping. I want a cure for this condition, or explanations as to why I got it in the first place, not a treatment tip that won’t work.
The hypotension started in November 2010.
I did take prozac as a pick-me-up, small dose once per day, for the past two years. I stopped taking it in January, a few months after the hypotension started, because I thought it was a side-effect. I also developed hypohidrosis (excessive sweating) at around the same time I got the hypotension. Both these symptoms are symptoms of prozac use, but I don’t think it’s because of the prozac – after all, shouldn’t they have gone away by now? And why did they start so late into the treatment time?
Thanks for any help. Serious answers only please.
i am 31 with bad circulation, freezing feet all the time, i have high blood pressure and high cholesterol and am on tablets from the doctor, i found a herbal remedy, gingko, garlic, cayenne that reduces blood pressure, cholesterol and helps with circulation, so i brought it and used it, on the second day my feet started tingeling and feeling like they are going to cramp up, and it didnt stop for 2 days, ive stopped taking the should this happen?
Should I be worried? I haven’t slept in two days, I don’t know what might be causing this. I am 21 years old, currently on Paxil and Atenolol! Paxil for anxiety attacks and Atenolol for high blood pressure. Is there any home remedies I should try to help aid the imsomnia?

I have a girlfriend, she is very pretty, but not happy with her weight. she has tried almost everything, because of her high blood pressure, her exercise is limited. She doe not sweat too which makes it hard to find somethining that will help. Anyone has ideas that they are sure of? I heard of these gel caps you take before bed on a emply stomache but I forget what it is called.
I take meds for diabetes and high blood pressure and don’t want to take more prescription meds if possible. Also, I don’t drink coffee before bed. I work till 11pm – alot of moving around, including stooping and reaching, etc. Don’t know if that would contribute to the problem.
I am 55, pure veg, no drink, no smoke, no diabetic, but have high blood pressure for the last 25 years and on allopathy medicines due to which i have developed erectile dysfunction for the last one year.
Need guidance- or medicines with no side effects, ayurvedic, homeopathy, naturopathy, diet cure and lastly allopathy – thanks

God i hope i dont run out of thumbs up on this level..
1. If you are choking on an ice cube simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat.
2. Avoid cutting yourself slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold while you chop.
3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the shower.
4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough.
7. You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

I’d like to meet the guy who first decided to try cow’s milk. Did he start salivating over a cow’s teet? Mmmm, I want to suck the mucus from those teets, they look so delicious! Hey everyone! Try this! Ewww! My question is about my mom, who has type II diabetes, and high blood pressure (who also has eaten meats and cow mucus all her life). Can going vegan CURE her of this disease? She is scared to eat raw fruits, because she says it will spike her blood sugar, so she’d rather eat some meat instead. I am really worried about her, and I’ve just converted (cold turkey/overnight) to full vegan, and already my belt is at it’s last hole, and I need to buy new pants! But even more than that, I’m not sleepy all day (digesting meat consumes a LOT of energy) and I can’t help but walk, run, bicycle, and stretch more. I have so much more energy, and my complexion is already clearing up. Instantly, I feel like a new person. Does anyone have advice for a diabetic/high blood pressure person to start a Vegan lifestyle? She keeps quoting doctors (who only make money if they keep her on pharmaceuticals) about how she needs to eat a "balanced" meal, and she totally thinks I’m stupid. I tell her how no one has ever gotten sick from "protein deficiency", but she won’t listen, and she’s scared of fresh, raw, sweet fruits.
She’s overweight, fatigued constantly (just as I have always been, because I listened to her advice), and "sick".
I have also found, that I have always been quite aggressive, but this is basically gone. My demeanor is so much mellow and relaxed, and I believe this aggression came from the imbalance in my life for PAYING OTHERS to murder animals for me to consume – that way my hands don’t get bloody, and I don’t have to see, smell, or even be aware of what’s really going on.
I wear leather (because I ride a motorcycle and non-leather shoes and belts just suck), and I went vegan for my health, not for the animals – about the opposite of most vegans I know – but I also don’t salivate when I see a dying animal on the road – like any carnivore does. I don’t get hungry when I see a grazing cow, and jump on it’s back and sink my teeth into it’s hide, like a meat eating tiger might do. I actually feel ill when I see a bloody carcass, and I don’t like touching raw steaks. I believe this is natural.
I need help convincing my mom to go vegan, but also in a safe way. Please don’t say, "consult a physician", because that’s all she ever does, and I believe that they don’t get paid by vegans.
If everyone went vegan, all of the following industries would suffer (in no particular order): Pharmaceuticals, Farmers (dairy, meat), Trucking Industry (transporting dead animal products), The Restaurant Industry (including the bussers, servers, cooks and dishwashers), Nurses, Doctors, Oil Companies (less fuel to transport all that poison), toothbrush companies, mouthwash companies, floss, ALL THE WEIGHT LOSS SCAMS and infomercials, books, fads, gyms, etc.
If you’re a die-hard meat eater, leave this question alone, please. Go be gross somewhere else.
Any vegans that are diabetic, or have been? Please help! Thanks!
Oh, I forgot to mention the best part for my transition! No more painful (and gross) bowel movements!!!! It all flows so easily now, and my time on the "throne" is much shorter and pleasant!

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
A. You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
B. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40.
C. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.
Remember:
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance.

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven a its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:
Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.
METHOD OF TREATMENT
1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.
The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:
1. High Blood Pressure – 30 days
2. Gastric – 10 days
3. Diabetes – 30 days
4. Constipation – 10 days
5. Cancer – 180 days
6. TB – 90 days
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily.
This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.
It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life.
Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.
This makes sense …. the Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals .not cold water. maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain…
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.
Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Is there a cure for boredom?
So many people talk about a cure for cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. But what about boredom?

Pardon my English as a second language.
The last three months have been the scariest time of my life. Super high blood pressure and pulse rate (even when resting). After 3 months of hell, multiple visits to the clinic, two ER trips (referred me to a cardiologist as my heart looked fine with high pulse rate), an IV did the trick. Just as I was about to leave the Er room the other day the doctor asked me if it hurt to urinate. I said "it burns" and he did urine tests. I was dehydrated. Well, my blood pressure stabilized overnight and the pulse rate is around 80 compared to high 100s before. I am able to sleep now. My skin was peeling off on my forehead (I though I had Aids or something
) and for years I had some spots all over my body skin that appeared to be "herpes". All that went away overnight. Now, if it could only reverse my diabetes type 2 I’d be in heaven.
I know guys, that’s pushing it…I know this topic is controversial in the medical community.
Anyway, now I was reading about dehydration and high blood pressure/high pulse rate online and I came across the water-cure. They have books for sale on Amazon too by an Iranian doctor. Do you believe in the water cure? Can it really help heal some diseases? Has it cured your disease? I’m starting to think we are onto something here. What do you think?

For the record, I measure my blood sugar regularly and my blood sugar was not high, just my blood pressure and pulse. I did drink a lot of Diet Coke which has sodium in it) and not enough water.
I need a home remedy to reduce my high blood pressure, I currently take one prescribed medication but considering the stress that I have been under I know that’s the reason for the change in my pressure so I need help………………….. Only serious inquires please!
My father takes lotrel 1020 (he said 1020 I don’t know what that means) but is getting a cold. Can he take zicam cold remedy plus without it affecting his blood pressure? He had a really bad reaction with cold medicine years ago when he didn’t know that some cold meds affect his high blood pressure meds. Thanks!
ALL treatments, whether or not they involve drugs, supplements, herbs, exercise, meditation, crystals, homeopathic, or "typical Western medicine" are ALL "alternative". In the Mid and Far East and in Africa, "Western medicine would be considered to be "alternative". What determines your definition of "standard" and "alternative" depends on your point of origin and comparison.
Even within the field of "typical Western medicine", literally hundreds to thousands of alternatives exist. Most medications known to Western medicine are actually naturally occurring products from bacteria, fungi, plants, roots, flowers, leaves, animals, etc. Many "folk" remedies are the source of now standard and commonly used prescription drugs. For example, people who suffered from high blood pressure were told to chew on a bay leaf. Well, there is a natural substance in bay that is now marketed as a prescription anti-hypertensive drug. Also, the commonly used heart medicine Digoxin (used to treat irregular heart beat) is derived from a common "weed" known as foxglove. Famously, Penicillin, one of the wonder drugs in the entire history of medicine is derived from simple bread mold. As another person wrote you, Aspirin is derived from the bark of a particular tree. Curare, used to cause muscle paralysis during surgery, is a naturally occurring substance, as is Warfarin, used to prevent blood clotting.
The point of this "lecture" is that what we in the U.S.A. consider to be "standard" medicines are rarely manufactured from nothing inside some sterile "mad scientist" laboratory. Most are based on naturally occurring substances found in the soil or from other living creatures. Chamomile tea has, for centuries, been known to help calm an excited person. Chamomile contains a natural "tranquilizer". St. John’s Wort contains a substance which increases the blood and brain level of serotonin, as do many newer anti-depressants such as Prozac and its cousins. Turkey makes us sleepy because it contains a high level of one amino acid, tryptophan (which was marketed for a few years as a prescription sleeping aid).
What Westerners typically consider "alternative" treatments, beyond herbal preparations, include things such as acupuncture, acupressure, massage, aromatherapy, meditation, chanting, prayer, religious ritual, exorcism, visualization, guided sensory imaging, sensory deprivation, achieving "higher" levels of consciousness, use of crystals and healing stones, etc. Do these work? Yes, for a great many people, all across the world. If they didn’t provide some benefit, why would they have lasted thousands of years? How and why do they work? There are as many theories as there are alternative methods of treatment. Any method of increasing concentration and focus force our brains and bodies to make a choice. You cannot be both physically and mentally calm and nervously anxious and upset at the same time; it’s simply not possible. So, meditation, chanting, seeking "oneness" or enlightenment, prayer, ritual, etc., all put us in that "choice" mode. We cannot be focused and concentrate on peace, tranquility and reaching a "higher plane" and at the same time focus on our pain or misery, so we feel better. And, the more we practice these things, the better tools they become. As we become more calm and peaceful, our bodies and minds relax, which allows our own internal healing mechanisms to work more effectively, and have been shown to improve the overall functioning of the immune system.

I had to take an anabolic steroid for almost 3 months due to a lung infection. It cured me but I gained a lot of weight and my face is bloated due to water retention. I have found out that HCTZ 25mg works as a diuretic and helps you shed the water. But I’m confused as to how many days I need to take it for and how to stop it safely. Please note that I do not have high blood pressure or diabetes or any other condition.

Has anyone ever used this during pregnancy to jumpstart labor and for swelling and high blood pressure. We are trying natural remedies for starting labor since I am at risk for developing Preeclampsia and then having to induce. I have gained 7 lbs due to water retention and swelling is out of control. I don’t want to induce because I’ve heard labor is harder and could lead to needing a C-Section. I also don’t want to use castor oil because I’ve heard too many bad things about the cramping, diarrhea and vomiting that will occur.

I think my daughters are ADHD and it’s causing problems. Their older brother and me are always on edge and it’s becoming a problem seriously. I am feeling like I don’t like my daughters but I still love them. I have checked some websites on the symptoms but I would like some advice on something your kids might do that related to my situation. For instance, I have to repeat the same rules everyday, they don’t listen AT ALL, they get into trouble at school, they are loud, disruptive and always crave sugar. If I buy any treats for them they are literally gone within a few days, those boxes of juice pouches are gone within just a few days. I am constantly stressed out and I know this isn’t normal at all. Please help me and give me some tips and advice on how to deal with this. What symptoms did your child have that aren’t conventional. Also, if you have some natural remedies that I can get from the pharmacy, pleeeaaassse let me know ASAP. Help, I have high blood pressure and I know this is contributing to it. They are 6 and 7. Thanks

It’s been a year she took various types of chemical based insomnia pills,
since her brain aneurysm surgery… She takes high blood pressure
medications, and she has to watch out for this particular thing.
She’s suffering from numb tongue and soar hands/arms due to the side effects of melatonin/high blood pressure.
She’s also got mental trauma in many different ways, and she feels anxiety/fear at night about her health and family (most of them don’t give a damn about her well-being.)
I’m just hoping someone can PLEASE help her rid of this insomnia.
Please recommend some herbal remedies… Thank you.
My grandma, when she was alive, use to give us kids her home remedies for our colds, aches and pains, earaches and so on AND they always seem to work.
My grandma and my mother are not around any more and I never bothered to get their "recipes" for their home remedies….which I regret to this day.
I’m in my 30’s and just found out I have high blood pressure. The after effects of the medications my doctor gave me to use are making me uncomfortable, not feeling bad, just uncomfortable. I am currently taking 0.1 mg of Clonidine every 12 hours as needed.
My question: I know my mother used Apple Cider Vinegar for arthritis and I have read a lot on the Internet about using ACV as an excellent way of lowering blood pressure.
I am thinking about doing it and will discuss it with my doctor next week. I know she is not going take me off the meds but I am going to ask her if I can use ACV ALONG with the meds. I want to get off the meds but I want to do it in a safe way.
Has anyone who had high blood pressure used ACV along with their meds or used it alone and it actually lowered their blood pressure?

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives. Then you will be afraid to cough.
7. Have a bad toothache? Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will forget all about the toothache.
8.Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
In life, you only need two tools – WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn’t move but should, use the WD-40.
If it should not move and does, use the duct tape.
9. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
10. Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.

I’ve had constant headaches for over a year now. I tried aspirin and tylenol and nothing is helping. I tried some home remedies but they didn’t work either. Could someone please tell me what is wronmg with me. I just want to know so I can get rid of these unbearable headaches. It’s hard for me to concentrate on anything. Sometimes when I smoke a cigarette it gets worse and my whole body starts to tingling and go numb. I also have high blood pressure. Please someone help me out.
So i have these really bad shakes because i’m nerves a lot and i hate it. Once i was at target to check out and i shaked really bad because i was nerves and the guy was looking at me really weird. And when i am in school getting ready to do something i shake really bad.(its always my arm or my whole body.) So what i want to know is their any home remedies i can do to stop my shaking. Its probably why i have high blood pressure to.
For high blood pressure or hypertension? There are prescriptions, but people either have to take these all their lives and/or they have side effects from what I hear.
I think that my headaches may be caused by my high blood pressure. I take meds for the HBP…but sometimes, I still get headaches.
I am a male of 47 years old, slim and no smoker and no drink alcohol, however I do have cholesterol and high blood pressure. I am taking LIPITOR 20mg tablets but I noticed it makes me fart which is quite embarrassing. The fact that I am eating more salad to lessen the cholesterol may also contribute to my winds but certainly the farting got worse since taking the Lipitor. Is there any home remedy to help cholesterol in the body? Thanks very much

Sinus Polyps and High Blood Pressure
the old remedies for high blood pressure and such,,,,different plants are good for different things but what? my e-mail is bluepaint10@yahoo.com
I just got back from my doc. I have high blood pressure (157 over 90) and I’m only 43. In past appts, I have always had very low bp (77 over 57) They want me on meds asap.
I have lots of questions -
What can I expect from the meds?
Is there a natural remedy? (I hate prescription drugs)
How quickly should I expect to see a change?
p.s. – yes, i smoke, and yes, i’m quitting.
also i’m not overweight at all – 5′4" and 108 pounds.
I normally have blood pressure about 120/75. But sometimes my blood pressure drops and it makes me feel very bad, a dreamlike state, dizzy, weak, bad motor skills… On such an occasion if I measure my blood pressure the values are well below what’s normal for me. I don’t take any medication besides birth control pills and I’m 21.
(my grandma has high blood pressure and has a measurer so she can adjust her meds. The values are mostly consistent with the ones from the doctor so it’s probably accurate. I borrow it on such occasions to know what’s going on)
I usually try to cure it with coffee and it works more or less, but I can’t really stand a second one that day even if I need it, it gives me a headache. I have no idea what triggers it. Sometimes it’s upon waking up, but more often without any cause I know of. There are weeks when I experience it almost every day and sometimes even multiple times per day, and there are weeks or longer when I don’t, and anything in between. I can go on curing it with coffee, but it’s probably not really normal and it’s annoying in any case. I doubt a doctor would believe me if he can’t measure anything abnormal when I’m feeling OK, though.
What can be a reason for this? What would stop it?
Hello. I have been having problems with my body. And I want to know why. Okay here is my story..About a week ago I have been having really bad headaches. It kept continueing for the whole week. When the headaches accure my head burns alot that I put an ice pack on my head to cool down. After a little while it goes away but it goes to my feet and it burns my feet. I had depression before the headaches came. Then the other day I was at Wal-mart and I saw this machine that testes blood pressure and when I got tested it said I had Hypertension stage 1. I didnt know what that was. So I looked it up on the internet and it said that its high blood pressure and stress. Is that why I been having those bad headaches? Is there a cure for it? Is it dangerouse? Should I go to the clinic? Any advice on what I should start doing? Please and thank you. Best answer will have 5 stars.
My doctors prescribes predisone & other antibiotics that make me feel worse plus I have high blood pressure so I need to try a healthy natural remedy to clear up this infection
I AM NOT OBESITY, I DO NOT HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. I HAVE NOT BEEN PUT ON A HALTER YET TO FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF PALAPATIONS I AM HAVING. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY HOME REMEDIES TO HELP WITH THE PALAPATIONS?
Been diagnost with high blood pressure, I am 44 years old. It was the shock of my life. Now I want to change my lifestyle, start to exercise, reduce drinking and eat healthy. Will that help me get back to my previous shape? I mean if I do all these good thing will I stop taking the high blood pressure medication? Do you know any other remedy ( natural remedy like tea and stuff that can help?) thanks. Want to do that for my young kids so they can I have me around for long time. Thanks for your healp and advice
I was blessed to have high blood pressure, genetically. Both of my parents have it. I really don’t want to have take drugs to lower it. Does anyone know natural remedies for lowering blood pressure. I’m not talking about the obvious things like diet, excersise, reducing stress etc. I’m looking for specific foods or vitamins or sleeping positions. Weird stuff that possibly works. I’ll try it if it’s not harmful! Thanks for your input!
I’m heading off to MEPS in three days. I’ve had moderately high blood pressure for a little while now. I may possibly be able to pass the test (I need to get under 140/90), which is doable for me. But I float in the 125/80-150/95 range. I usually test high.
So here’s my question. Is there a way to bring down your blood pressure temporarily? Because I’ve been reading of some people who were discharged DURING boot camp because of hbp. So I was just wondering if there was a way to get past these tests so that I can become a member of the military? Once I have their awesome health coverage then I can get this issue properly looked at. But until then, i’m stuck with natural remedies.
Well mr. Casdave, I appreciate the attempt at making me look like an idiot?
Actually I wanted to join the Air Guard, because firstly, they’re going to pay for the rest of my education, secondly, they’re going to pay off my accumulated student loans, thirdly, it will make my resume stand out, fourthly, the money that I will make during basic training and tech school will be a nice down payment on a home for me and my fiance, fifthly, they have great benefits, sixthly, they pay well during the year. And on and on. But yes The Home Depot doesn’t provide sufficient enough health insurance to cover me. So the health insurance that would be available to me and my family IS appealing yes.
Oh, and btw. I’m not entering a combat MOS.
i have a dr appt tomorrow and i’m curious if i have preclampsia (my sister has had it 3 times) but i did not have it my first time pregnant. last check up (2 weeks ago) i had high blood pressure and my dr just said to slow down. i run a home daycare with a total of 4 toddlers–really not that big of a deal–but i am on my feet mostly and i do almost all of the house cleaning as if i weren’t pregnant at all. my ankles and calves are very swollen and all day today, my hands have been swollen to the point i cannot close them without slight pain. i’m having a planned csection anyway, just wondered if there’s any home remedies other than taking breaks, elevating feet and hands to reduce swelling and stuff. i’ll find out tomorrow what to do for sure i guess.
I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure. I am only 25 and I just found out a few weeks ago that I am pregnant. I am all for natural remedies for the body and I came across "olive leaf extract" for heart health and it reduces high blood pressure. So my question is, has anyone done this for one reason or another and had it work?
and to the person who said I should not try treating it myself…..I am not treating it myself, I was merely asking about the product that I cam across. If i needed much more of an answer I would have went into detail….I am already taking a med prescribed by my dr for your info…just answer the question
I was researching pre-workout formulas and most of them contain nitric oxide. I’m curious to know if nitric oxide affects your heart in a negative way and increases your risk of heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure etc. If not, what are the long term negative side effects you will have from using a pre-workout formula?
when I was younger, I thought this was just a nightmare, but I question it now, I was about 11 years old, and I had this "dream" that I was being molested, and I couldn’t do anything about it, I couldn’t move, I wasn’t sure if it was a dream or not, I found out recently that my "ex-uncle" is a child molester and he was around me A LOT, so I’m questioning it quite a bit, about 2-3 years after that, I started having nightmares of being raped and strangled, chased after and killed, after a while I caught myself fighting sleep, became an insomniac, I have a fear of the dark, i’ll go through phases where I will be so anxious, I will check every part of my bedroom before i go to bed, make sure no one is hiding in the dark, I walk out to my car at night with my keys in between my fingers so i can stab anybody in the eye if they sneak up on me, i run inside, sleep is difficult to come by, I fall asleep watching movies because I can’t sleep in the dark
I can’t concentrate in school, I have massive chest pains, sometimes brought on by nothing, often brought on by anxiety and always made worse with anxiety, I’m so tired by the end of my "chest attacks" I can’t see straight and I konk out, I’ve been off and on sick for what seems like forever, I’ve went to doctors for my chest, first doctor I went to was at an emergency care clinic, he couldn’t find anything wrong on the EKG, started asking me stupid questions about depression, I got pissed off and answered one question "yes, with these chest pains and jack*** doctors like you I would like to kill myself" so he treatened to bakeract me, I had a follow up at a psych and she was trying to cure my insomnia and gave me high blood pressure meds, I took myself off of them because they were not working and when I found out what they where I was like WTH??!!, next doctor i went to was all for me taking myself off the meds and blamed my chest pains on mitral valve prolapse, but there is a majority of people out there that have the same exact thing and don’t know it, I went to a cardiologist he found nothing that would be causing my pains, my mother suffers from the same thing, but hers seemed to go away after she dropped 110lbs(claps for mom) but I am healthy weight.
I have a feeling the anxiety is causing the entire everything, but my parents are convinced that there is nothing wrong with me, I don’t need to talk to someone, I don’t need help, I’ve had an ambulence called on me TWICE while I was at school because of this. My parents don’t wanna take anymore action, they don’t seem to care to, how am I supposed to tell my parents that this may be the cause?
what am I supposed to do? I just don’t know anymore… I need help
yes, I am slightly depressed, but I’m a 16 year old girl, I guess it’s just normal
Please share you story if you tied or completely stopped Blood Pressure medication Diovan. My husband is taking Diovan 160/12,5 mg. Since he became raw eater (eats only raw veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds) his blood pressure dropped naturally (it’s is now 117/76 – 120/80). We do not eat any animal products, including diary and eggs. My husband lost more that 45 pounds and feels way better than before. But when he takes Diovan (he takes half of the pill now, so it’s a dose of 80/6,5) he feels horrible and his blood pressure drops to 106/68. Our doctors insists on impossibility of stopping BP medication. But I googled and found horrible side effects of Diovan (severe muscle cramps, headaches, depression, anxiety, joint pain, rash, hair loss, libido loss, low energy level etc), my husband experienced all of them. We found a great website (askapatient com) and there plenty of people who used and experienced those side effects and some even quit Diovan. We would like to know how to do that, if we can do it gradually? We did a research and found plenty of natural remedies recommended by naturopathic practitioners like: Coenzyme Q10, Garlic, Hawthorn, Mistletoe, Valerian, Hops, L-Arginine. We bought them today at the health food store along with Vitanine C and E, Selenium, Calcium, Magnesium & Potassium. Also we plan to take 2 tb spoons of organic flaxseed oil daily, 2 gloves of fresh garlic, incorporate more cayenne pepper, turmeric in our diet and drink plenty of herbal tea stabilizing blood pressure. Please if you have any information or want to share you story on how you stopped Diovan (or any other high blood pressure medication), please let us know…We will really appreciate it.
P.S: We will go to see and MD doctor with Naturopathic license as well, when we find a good one, as we’d like to talk to a professional who knows both worlds, and wouldn’t be only trained/inclined to sell prescription drugs, but interested in natural remedies as well.
Please do not advertise/recommend other medication as our purpose is to eliminate drugs in our life. We are searching for a natural ways and remedies…Thank you
Does anyone know of any natural/ayurvedic or homeopathic remedies for hypertension (high blood pressure) or diabetes? (please don’t indicate diet and exercise as natural remedies…of these, I’m aware). Thanks!!
Vinegar Water for High Blood Pressure? Im currently on Blood Pressure medicine but My grandmother and Mom still insist I should drink a glass of water several times a day with 2 teaspoons of vinegar in it. Does anyone out there know if this home remedy really works? I want to be sure my Blood Pressure never gets out of control. Thanks
I’m 30 something , overweight and have severe high blood pressure. The pill I have been taking seems to make me depressed , lazy, and drowsy- which I hate. i also have a stressful job. I guess number one and two are to lose weight, and quit my stressful job. I have a new Doctor at my clinic with no bedside manner and he’ s trying to use scare tactics and he doesn’t seem to be listening to what I tell him. I guess he did make me realize I have to take more responsibility for my blood pressure, but this is also a genetic issue that unfortunately got passed to me. I don’t think it’s helping to stress me out more about my blood pressure, plus not give me the medicine I may need. I wonder if he’s a quack. Anyway point taken and I need some lifestyle changes as well as a new doctor. Part of that is diet and looking at holistic ways to control my pressure. Any holistic suggestions and natural remedies that work out there?
OK its not that I don’t get sleep. But I think I sleep for at least 10-12 Hrs.
Age: 24
weight: 67 kgs
height: 170 cm
I don’t have any high blood pressure or diabetes.
I work out a little bit.But not that much…I am not into dieting.
I got a job of a P.R.O
a lot of traveling job for sake.It doesn’t require me to reach the office in time !!!

My Dad has high blood pressure and diabetes…
His BP is rising…
Does anyone know any natural remedies for lowering BP quick? Please, help us ![]()
I’ve tried to find online what the physical symptoms are of high blood pressure, what causes it & some home remedies to treat it. All I’ve read is that there are no physical signs of high blood pressure. But I’ve heard many people say they’ve felt bad & their BP must be up. I’m only 30. I don’t have health insurance. I went to the doctor Monday (had to pay) & for the 1st time in my life, I was told my BP was high, 140/90. The nurse askd if I’d been under a lot of stress, that answr is YES. So nthing else was said about it. I was worried about what they were going to tell me about something else, so she figured that’s what caused it to be high. I felt funny that day. Dizzy, weak, heart feeling like its racing & beating in my throat. Felt like I may pass out. I’ve felt like that every day since. So I’m worrying. Is that how high BP makes u feel? Can stress cause it? Can it be treated @ home? I don’t have ins. Any info is appreciated, thanks!
I initially get this info from this very Yahoo Answer, thank you Yahoo !
In addition to celery, I found so many other links. However my initial experience insisted me to stay on this one lead and hopefully this will eventually be my solution.
Here is a blog I replied today on this subject:

I am surprised this entire page never mention “celery” although I found this link through Yahoo search for "celery and high blood pressure".
Recently, I had the same situation Jan described at the beginning of her blog and I found the mentions about celery in the Yahoo Answer.
I found exactly Jan said, that the 40 mg prescription does not work while the celery drinks appears gave very quick results. For several weeks, I though this may be the random variations of coincident. Today, I decide to take a written log on the celery effect:
celery drink: celery, banana, honey, lemon juice, sugar
(log file on 05/01/10 10:00PM)
May 1, 2010 10:27 before 149/98
May 1, 2010 10:47 after 141/90
May 1, 2010 11:00 after 138/86
May 1, 2010 11:25 after 148/96
May 1, 2010 11:42 after 141/85
May 1, 2010 11:56 after 148/93
May 2, 2010 12:09 after 128/88
May 2, 2010 12:27 after 147/95
(end of the log)
This is a raw data, I need to do more measurements. Meanwhile, if some of you had good experiences, please share with us. It is very clear, home remedy approach is definitely better than doctor’s office. It may not be true for all the other home remedies, but, for this high blood pressure thing, this should not be ignored and should be make public to let all to know.

Anyone know of a natural remedy for high blood pressure?
my boyfriend (17) has very high blood pressure. they say it should be 120/90, but his is160/120. this means he cant pass his physical, wich means he cant play basketball. this is very very hard for him considering that sports mean a lot to him. he is in pretty good shape, 215 lbs, 6′ 3" and very athletic. eats pretty well but has high stress levels due to family and other things. is there anything he can do to quickly lower it so he can at least pass the physical? then we’ll go from there. I’d really appreciate any suggestions. thanks!
I was diagnosed with High blood pressure today(140-159). I want to clear my medical test tomorrow. Im 66(does age matter..?)..I also had a high pulse rate..What can you suggest..?
Is it possible for a woman to give birth without knowing she is pregnant?
I believe it is. As I have seen on the show, I didn’t know I was pregnant, many women can have vaginal bleeding and mistake that for a period. Also lots of women may not gain a lot of weight during pregnancy whether they are skinny or overweight. Then there are women who believe they are infertile and may think that the symptoms are something else. Not to mention a woman may not have symptoms or cravings or morning sickness.
I saw on TV a documentary about a woman named Nicole. She had obesity and high blood pressure and was told that she may never get pregnant because it stopped her from having periods which she did not have for 14-15 years. Nicole went on a diet and lost 30 pounds which most likely caused her to ovulate and conceive. Later Nicole began feeling symptoms such as hot flashes, cold flashes, and nausea, and sweats as well as back pain. Nicole suspected she was going through an early menopause She went to many doctors and was never able to find out what was wrong and because of her high blood pressure and obesity she and her doctors never considered that she could be pregnant. Nicole later had vaginal bleeding which she thought was a period but it did not seem normal to her. One despite feeling pain in her body, Nicole picked up her mother to drive her to the hospital to get kidney dialysis, but then she was in so much pain that her mother took her to the emergency room and left to get her dialysis. Nicole was given a test that and found out she was pregnant but was the doctors were not yet able to determine how long she was pregnant. Later Nicole felt like she needed to use the bathroom ad while on the toilet gave birth to a son. She was shocked. However, because of her high blood pressure she was in danger of pre-ecclampsia which put her in danger of seizure, coma, and death. She needed to expel her placenta to be cured. Since she gave birth to her son and his umbilical cord detached, the doctor pulled her umbilical cord and it meant that it did not move which meant that she had another baby so Nicole pushed and gave birth to a girl. Later her boyfriend and and her mother cam back and they were told what happened and they were shocked but happy. It was said that Nicole’s placenta had lots of padding and that along with the fact that Nicole assumed that she was infertile were why she didn’t know she was pregnant. Nicole’s twins were premature by 2 months and later her twin daughter tragically died.
I have hypertension and tachycardia, i am 19 years old and not overweight and do not have a bad diet. I have had countless tests and my consultants (cardiologist and renal consultant) can find no specific reason. It is really effecting my standard of life, my average BP is 180/140 and my average pulse is about 160 bpm, i see my GP twice a week for blood pressure checks and my consultant roughly once a month. Is there anything they can do to stop it?? any operations? I can hardly breathe because my heart rate is so high, i take more than 20 tablets a day to try and keep my heart rate and bp down and i dont know how long my heart will carry on like this, my doctor likes to refer to me as a ”walking time bomb” please help me ![]()
im currently under two of the best consultants in england, also my doctor said its very rare but possible to have naturally high blood pressure and fast heart rate???
What is the best natural remedy for High Blood Pressure? I know all about diet and loosing more body fat. I’m just looking about what natural food to take to lower blood pressure. Any idea. High blood pressure medicines are too expensive.
My husband is 30 yrs old and he is dying of "nobody knows" he has a number of symptoms that can not be explained!! We have been to a Urologist, a Neurologist, a family doctor, and the best Infectious Disease Dr. in the state, plus we have spent ,000 in cash to pay for him to go to the Diamond Clinic in Chicago, which is out of state for us and he has had 5 operations this past 6 months to clear out all the Kidney stones but within 6 weeks they are all back, These are all his symptoms:
Extreme Cluster Migraines, Kidney stones, all his joints are very swollen, his legs tingle and go numb, very high blood pressure, he has rashes that come up all over his legs, vomiting, chest pains, blood in urine, constant kidney infection, He has had Salmonella poisoning for 15 months and they can not get rid of it, they did a bone density test and he has the bones of a 90 yr old, he has broken 3 ribs breathing hard, they have had him on Steroids for a long time to help control the headaches but it in turn causes other things, but he is getting worse by the day and we have 3 young children and I am at a loss of what to do now? None of the doctors seem to know anything other than trying to load him up on pain killers to control pain, but he was an addict years ago and does not take the pain meds, so what now?
Can someone help me how to stop anxiety? plz?
well I am gay and mexican and I feel anxious… for years I have several anxiety and taken medications like paxil, fluxetine, venlafaxine and clonazempa, tafil and I haven’t felt better.. I feel cold in my feel and sweat them.. and also I have developed colitis and problems with high blood pressure.. I don’t know what to do.. doctors told me it’s depresion and others just anxiety.. maybe because I dont’t feel accepted but I got worried about everything even now I got out of the university and I am graduated and to find a job here .. not money to move another state.. well anyway plz tell me something natural.. a doctor told me natural doesn’t work in me because my body has been used to take strong medications.. thanks for understanding my bad english.
I have taken clonazampa but.. I think I am addictive now.. but I don’t take all day just one per day. before sleeping.. because I can’t sleep sometimes
I found out my blood pressure was really high when I went to get a check up the first part of this week. I haven’t had a check up in a long time due to not having insurance.
I felt perfectly fine but when the doctor saw how high my blood pressure was she put me on 0.1 mg of Clonidine twice a day for that and said when it got lower but still not hitting the 120/80, or close to that mark, I am suppose to take 5 mg a day of Exforge. I also monitor my blood pressure every day.
Taking prescribed medications is new to me and I followed her instructions to the letter. Well, the Clonidine did lower my blood pressure A LOT but the side effects were unbelievable, at least for me. I felt like I was in a drugged out stupor. Constantly nodding off and my mouth felt like cotton. My SO came home from work and said "what the hell is wrong with you"…lol.
Since my blood pressure came down a lot, I took the Exforge. It made my stomach sorta burn a little, throat kinda sore and my mouth felt like all the saliva had been sucked out but that’s all the side effects I have felt with Exforge ….SO FAR.
I will continue taking my meds until I go back to the doctor next week and tell her about the side effects but until then does anyone have or know of any home remedies for high blood pressure that really, really works?
Once again I WILL NOT STOP TAKING THE MEDS but I want to ease off of them because of the side effects.
Can anyone out there who has been through this type of thing help me with finding an alternative way to keep my blood pressure down? Thanks.
Im a little worried for my children. My whole life ive always been a "sweater". Ive always been about average weight, a few extra pounds here and there but not too bad. But I sweat doing anything. Seriously im always sweating and people always look at me weird, make fun or comment in some way. I do have high blood pressure now, but i havent had it my whole life so thats not the reason.
My main worry is now for my children. I have a 3 1/2 yr old boy and a 1 yr old girl. My boy sweats like crazy. Hes very active and not an ounce of fat. Other kids he plays with wont even have a drop of sweat but hes soaked. I am so scared that I passed my "Illness?" on to them. I dont want my kids affected the way my embarrassing sweating has affected my life. What can I do and why do we sweat?
Throughout most of my adult life, I have had "palpitations". I had EKGs and even wore a holter monitor about 14 years ago. Doctors just sort of ignored it. A few weeks ago, during a routine colonoscopy, the LBBB was discovered. I then had an EKG, ECHO and Stress test that indicated ischemia. Cardiologist recommended a cardiac cath which was done on Monday. But while in the hospital on monitor, I went into A-Fib. So, for the first time, the "palpitations" I have had several times a year were recorded and diagnosed as A-FIB. The cath was clear, no blockages in the arteries. I was sent home on Lopressor and baby aspirin. I do not have high cholesterol or high blood pressure. Now I am having multiple A Fibs a day and feel light headed. Can I stop taking the Lopressor? Is there another drug that will prevent it? Thanks for listening!!!
My mom has high blood pressure and i worry about it,so what is a possible cure if enough research is put into it?

most of my male "Friends" do nothing . they cant keep their promises and their lives together … although we are in our 20’s
the first one , he is hyperactive , has high blood pressure and his girlfriend , which is my other friends sister, controls every bit of him. And for that you cant trust him . He has traits of numbness in his head , also he drinks too much sometimes also smokes too much .
the other friend … he is a sport freak and doesn’t eat sometimes for dayes (one time he fainted) … he is really willing to loose some waight , he runs too much and doesnt eat . most of the time he just stayes at home , if he is not running .
the 3′rd one : He used to sleep with too many women , although i warned him many times , he did not listen .. untill he got some sort of a HIV and he got cured . He still AIMLESSLY try to hook up with women , but no sex . as he told me . He keeps his word … but all he talkes about is women .
the 4th one … he is honest , and a good friend … he just eats way too much !
so should i do with this kind of people ?
i’m taking some medication that i absolutely have to take for a very serious health problem i don’t want to discuss here. one of the unfortunate side effects for some people is weight gain, due to a painful gnawing hunger that can only be stopped by eating. this is the second time i’ve been on it, the last time i gained over 100 pounds in less than a year! i quit taking it due to high blood pressure from my obesity and the weight magically disappeared, now i’m back to a normal weight, but since i got back on the meds the hunger is back and my eating is out of control again. if i do not eat i can’t do anything but lay around and suffer. quitting the meds is not really an option right now. my doc is no help, he doesn’t believe it’s the medication because it doesn’t affect everyone this way, but i would think that the fact that i gained and lost 100 pounds so easily would prove my case! his only suggestion was to excercise a lot, and i have been doing hard cardio excercise for 1.5-2 hrs daily but still gaining weight again. eating fruits/veggies does not cure the hunger, only starchy kind of stuff stops it for long and that’s the worst stuff to eat! meat does work but it’s too expensive and gives me digestive problems and hemmorhoids. do you have any ideas how i can stop my hunger? i think i’d just about rather die than get fat again, so i will quit the meds if i have to. but i do have a serious need for it so i would like to try everything else first! any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!
I was recently diagnosed with SVT (super ventricular tachycardia.) My Dr. suggests either a procedure where they go in and zap the heart, or extra nodes in the heart, to cure this. It comes with risks of course. Or, I can take a beta blocker, which will also lower my high blood pressure as well. My question is, does anyone know what kind of meds of this type, does NOT cause one to have such frequent urge to urinate? Or less fatigue? My job does not allow me to run to the bathroom 20 million times a day. Or even 5-10 times a day. Of all the hundreds of different types of meds for these problems, there has to be someone out there who can give me a suggestion to give my Dr. He does not seem interested in helping me with this. Thanks for anything that is helpful.
BS?
"I’ve seen a 85 year old male, with arthritis, gout, high blood pressure, pooing and peeing problems, completely change in 3 weeks of eating raw fruit. He was removed of all his meds and he began jogging at his own will."
85 years old. All of those maladies. Completely cured to the point they are taken off of all meds by their doctors, just because they ate raw fruit for 3 weeks. Then starting jogging, at 85, on top of that.
Is this biologically or scientifically possible?
People. I’m astonished by the first 3 answers. You obviously haven’t researched those maladies.
That first link is a riot! Bananas and zucchini are good for the penis because they are shaped similarly! LMAO!
sailboat–3 weeks?
Robo-It’s a quote from the V & V.
Of 1379 people who came into a blood bank to give blood, 670 had high blood pressure. Estimate the probability that the next person who comes in will also have high blood pressure.
I’m unsure what formula to use and what numbers to plug in where. Please help!
Thanks Rachel! That’s so simple….I don’t know why I assumed it was going to be something so much more time consuming!
For a very long time now, I have had this strange, annoying and sometimes very terrifying problem.
To describe it is difficult, But i am constantly feeling like the world around me is falling, or spining. That’s really the best way i can describe it. It’s a feeling like being dizzy, As if you had just spun around really fast and then stopped suddenly, except feeling it all the time, though not as bad.
The problem also causes me to feel as if i’m on a roller coaster that just went straight down, that sort of frightened feeling you get when you are falling, and this feeling last for about one to two seconds, and comes at complete random also.
This problem has been with me for so long that i’ve somewhat gotten used to it. If i start getting interested in a television show, or a video game, or i’m thinking about something, i won’t really notice it, but any moment where i find myself not occupied or doing anything, or not focused on anything interesting, is when i start feeling this way again. it’s not so bad that i’m going to fall over standing up, and i also never notice it while i am walking or moving.
I asked my parents, And they said it has to do with my high blood pressure, But i have been with this problem for so long that i’m not entirely sure this is the cause, or at least the entire cause. I’m also somewhat obese, and i was wondering if my weight might also be contributing to this problem. I know i’m also not getting enough sleep as i should, i most often stay up until late into the night.
I know also that i am having some psychological issues, for which i might see a psychiatrist, and i noticed the "feeling of falling" increases whenever i feel guilty about something, or i’m depressed, or if i feel bad or nervous.
The very last thing i want to do is take medication, i’m trying as hard as i can to avoid this. This problem is not really destroying my life or anything, but it would help, immensely, if i could finally get rid of this problem.
I would like to know any possible way to cure or reduce this feeling, without medication, if possible.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

I was recently tested and the results came back positive. I am very afraid because I have NEVER been tested for HIV before. Is it possible for you to get HIV from having PROTECTED ORAL? I also have other health issues like high blood pressure and a bulging disc.
I’ve had STI’s before but I’ve taken medicine for them and was cured of those illnesses.
I think I may get a second opinion about this result. The only time I have gotten an STI was from unprotected intercourse and each of those individuals tested negative for HIV. Could this possibly be a false positive result?
(18 yrs old) I only had acid indigestion once in my life and my stomach bevcame so HUGE. During that time i was working at a place that had lots of health seeds. So i ate alot of pumking and flax and sunflower seeds and drank olive oil and drank ALOT of water (everyday) to try and stop the distention/bloating. Then eventually it was still there my stomach became so huge that i cud rest my cellphone on it. I started have stomach noises that makes me self concsious in class. Then i had green stool for a while and diahorrea. Now the stool thing and diahorrea has been cured, but my belly is still huge and i exercise alot and it affects my rather slim appearance greatly. I am a male. Those are the only symptoms. I took Gas X, but didnt see much difference, my heart also beated faster after taking gas x. i have high blood pressure. Also going to the doctor’s office in my nation is extreemly costly. SO please advice me please thank you. Any over the counter, any foods anything household products or ANYTHING PLEASE. THanks…
i stoped eating the seeds and drinking olive oil, but its still huge
My family is very misinformed on how they get their meat to be very cheap. Almost everyone has some kind of medical condition already. I’m the only one who has gone vegan and I really enjoy eating my whole foods. I buy my dog organic meat but they think its too expensive. I try to tell them but my dad is very cheap. My parents are so brainwashed by all the ads telling them its healthy way of eating. Its no wonder they’re getting sick and lack so much energy! I’m not even exaggerating at all. My mom always feels very tired and has anemia. My dad suffers from very high blood pressure. I just order them this book http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Whole-Foods-Traditions-Nutrition/dp/1556434308/ref=pd_sim_b_1. I know its not a cure for everything but diet does help a lot of people improve. I just hope they’ll get it. I don’t hate that my family eats meat at all but that they support that corrupt industry. I mean they can buy better quality. How did you approach your family about the agribusiness horror?
my dad is 52 years old and had kidney stones for 5 years. He has undergone through lasers and medications like "Sambong" and all other herbal stuffs and is in neat diet….. what else could be the problem that it keeps forming back after treatment? he has high blood pressure as well and taking small medications for it for 30 years… now any other suggestions of any permanent cure? Please help!
How can one blame fat people for problems such as heart disease, High blood pressure, strokes, wrinkles, cataracs & etc, when children with Progeria are dying of the same diseases. They have not had time to damage their bodies through lifestyle and diet! That tells me that heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes & aneurysms are cause by AGING and not so much by one’s weight, diet or lifestyle!! I;m not saying that one can not help oneself through diet and lifestyle, but dangit this is rediculous. And another thing, if my body is made up of flesh, fat and has the ability to make milk, then why is it sooooo bad for me to put those things back into my body? Just a thought…. I really think the medical community is nothing but a bunch of STUPID trends. Remember when mothers milk was inferior to formula…not any more. remember the 4 food groups…..not any more. remember when people were SUPPOSE to carb load…….not any more. Fat people are getting the blame for everything and i’m sick of it!!! The only thing that these kids don’t seem to get is diabetes BUT… everyones pancares has a limit and it will litereally get worn out. my 102 year old grandma now takes insulin but its not because she never took care of herself, it’s because she’s old!!!
OK i am 22 years old male with no high blood pressure and never had stroke
This strange illness happened twice. First is about 3 weeks ago at 7 PM and second is 2 days ago 6 PM
First my right shoulder is tickling like someone tickle my shoulder nonstop

30 minutes later i am feeling nausea but can’t vomit
45 minutes later i am very sleepy but can’t sleep because my whole body is very unwell
50 minutes later my jaw is begin to stiff ( i feel like my jaw is moving it self )
5 hours later all pain gone by it self and i become normal again
That’s all the symptom. although i am not in pain but i really feel unwell and i afraid this will happen again.
I live in Indonesia and my local nerve doctor also don’t understand what’s going on with my body
Somebody please tell me what’s wrong with me and how to cure it ?
Sorry for my bad grammar ![]()
Not tetanus
Because i don’t injured that time
okay i had several emails this morning from family members talking about avoiding cancer ect.
so i pulled out a book titled "cure for all cancers" which they give you diet plans and tell you the things that can cause it (pretty much everything)
i was surprised to find that dander from pets is considered a cancer causer when pets usually HELP people with health issues such as high blood pressure and depression. i find it hard to believe myself.
the book recommends getting rid of your pets and living in a sterile environment and completely remodeling your average every day home from the plumbing to walls. (copper, brass and bronze are cancer causers?)
would you give up your pet if you had cancer and may or may not go into remission?
if you feel you wont go into remission would you rehome your pet and remodel your house?
i know a guy who lived by this book and survived he had lung cancer hes been in remission for 5 years without a single sign.
bassets: didnt say i believed it but i find it strange. im not getting rid of my dog because of it. nor remodeling my home. i find this curious is all as to why someone would believe this. as for the survivor he refuses to own pets because of it
Before I begin, I am not asking for an opinion on my conditions or an opinion on how to cure them or an opinion stating that I do not need what I am asking for. I am 23 and I live in Florida. I have not been able to work for a few years now. I have tried and failed too many times! I have major depression, severe anxiety, high blood pressure, and possibly diabetes now (being tested soon). All I need is to prove through medical records is my conditions and all I need to prove through a doctors note is the fact that I can not work due to my conditions in order to receive SSI, right? Any information that you have can be helpful. If you have more information than what I have asked for that would be great too! Thank you!!!
I am a part-time retail worker, who is going to be filing for short term disability soon, because of a heart problem.
I have lots of evidence that I have heart issues (arrythmia, high blood pressure, had a heart infection in March, three leaky valves), and until I find a way to cure the arrythmias (tachycardia, PVC’s, ventricular bigeminy), I can’t work.
I’ve been at my job for 2.5 years, and I would hate to leave, but it’s getting harder and harder to work. I have frequent palpitations which bother me, and because my pulse jumps up to 200 at rest, I am afraid of what might happen.
I’ve been on medications, but nothing has seemed to help so far, though I am going to see an Electrophysiologist.
Anyways, since I am a part-timer, I am ineligible for the Family and Medical Leave Act. I’ve met all the requirements except for the hours.
I’m going to explain my situation to the boss, and hopefully, he will let me take a leave of absence.
The problem with this is that there’s no job security, unlike the FMLA.
I am not looking to get paid time off, as I have no benefits or anything like that, just a reassurance that I will still have a job.
Are there any laws to protect someone if they are ill, but can’t meet the FMLA? I’m guessing not, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I realized I made a mistake and worded it badly.
I do want to get paid, but not necessarily from my boss.
I just want to be able to pay my bills until I feel well enough that I can work again.
yes, I know no one is guaranteed anything, but I’m obviously too sick to work right now, and I don’t want to lose my job under disability.
Background information: I am a 25 year old mother of 2. Married. I am healthy. (No STD’s, no high blood pressure, no diabetes, nothing serious that I know of) The only thing I do suffer from is Panic Disorder, and I am over weight. Non Smoker.
Complaint: For the past 2 weeks I have been suffering from what I believe to be Anal Fissures. After every bowel movement there is bright red blood in the toilet water and also on the toilet paper. It does burn and hurt. I had my husband have a look and even take picture of it with the camera so I could see for myself. You can see what looks like a 1/2 to 1 inch cut 1-2 inches inside the anal cavity. From what I have found, these are called Anal Fissures.
I am too embarrassed to go to the doctor for them as of yet. So I ask you; Is there any at home remedy that will cure this? It seems to break loose and bleed after every bowel movement. I have been applying triple antibiotic ointment along with Vaseline to it 3x per day.
Also can this get infected by the BM that passes by the open wound? How will I know if this anal fissure needs surgery? Is this something I may need oral antibiotics for? Thank you for any, and all input.
I was rearended by a teen talking on her cell phone. Suffer whiplash etc. Prior to the accident I did not have high blood pressure or tinnitus. A specialist at the Clinic ran tests. Test prooves hearing loss gap of high frequencies where people with this "dip" suffer tennitis. Finally a test prooves I was really hurt. But both technician and doctor immediately said they can not confirm it was caused by the accident? Doctor was a real jerk. talking about how many people suffer from tinnitus and there is no cure. Told me to put my radio on FM at night between channels. I am already going out of my skin from the nonstop buzzing in my ear. I will go nuts if I listen to off station noises. The doctor was so quick to dispute liability for the accident. I did not have buzzing in my ears before the accident. I would have gone to the docs. Then he said maybe I would have woken up in five years with tinnitus any way. I am in my late 50’s. I was never exposed to loud noises prior to the accident to cause hearing loss. Why would the doctor screw up my chances for a settlement? Her insurance company has been paying the Clinic’s bills for PT and doctor visits including ER visit.
unable to treat allergies with over the counter meds due to pregnancy and high blood pressure, any suggestions would be great.
My mom has been complaining of having bouts of arthritis, and she has been taking 1000mg of Glucosamine daily but she still feels that it is not enough. She keeps complaining about the pain in the entire body.
She walks daily for 5-10 minutes ( slow walks).
Her back aches and she has to take Panadol once or twicea and apply Ammeltz Yoko Yoko (a Menthol and a Eucalyptus balm) on her knees everyday to alleviate the pain, even if its temporary relief.
Incidently, 4 years ago she was knocked down by a motorcycle and ever since, she has always got pain in the shin bone. But the doctor’s X/ray reveal there is no fracture whatsoever.
Her side of the family ( mother, grandmother) all suffer from arthritis at old age.
She has diabetes and High blood pressure as well.
What are some of the things or remedies that can cure the Arthritis condition and make the pain go away ?

I’m currently taking 100mg Metoprolol daily for high blood pressure. As normal, I’m experiencing sexual side effects, meaning getting and maintaining an erection. Is there any over the counter medications, or herbal remedies that I could use to counteract the effects of the blood pressure med. that will not have any harmfull side effects or will raise my blood pressure up? I’m 50 years old also.
I’ve heard of apple cider vinegar but I’m not sure about it. My pastor told me that if I put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and drink it everyday. It will burn excess fat away and it’s also good for lowering high blood pressure. But I don’t like the taste of vinegar, is there another natural quick way to burn excess abdominal fat. Please help me.
My son is stressed out and trying to pass a physical for a job. He doesn’t normally have high blood pressure, but is currently under a lot of stress. Does anyone have a quick remedy for lowering it?
I’m 17 years old, and she wants me to be put on something like Ridalin, Concerta, Stratera; that sort of thing. Personally, I’m pretty much against it. I don’t mind taking pills, if it is to cure something (like an illness) or to fix something that has changed in a negative way (like something to help lower high blood pressure.)
These pills seem to be an effort to change my individuality; my psyche. Plus, they don’t really cure something, because they need to be taken indefinitely.
Anyways, all my mom sees is the benefits of me going on "the pills". I’d be able to focus on my homework more, I’d remember to do my chores more, I’d be more sociable, I’d be more organized (with schoolwork, cleaning my room, etc.), and the list of it all goes on.
Maybe I’m wrong for thinking this way. The medication may "fix" me in my mom’s eyes, but I won’t really be the "me" that I’ve come to know. Of course, maybe it’ll unlock the "me" that was meant to be…
Please tell me your opinions on this
I usually get pretty good grades. I found out will I was doing the preps for the MMEs that I’m currently ranked 11th in my class. The classes that I take are generally advanced or college preperatory. My mom thinks that even though I get good grades, it takes me too long to do homework (which I agree with).
I was diagnosed with ADD sometime between 4th and 7th Grade. Of course, I rarely digested the pills. I’d swallow them, but I can bring stuff back up without having to do the whole "finger in the throat" thing. They would usually end up down the toilet. Gross, I know, but I was pretty much being forced to take it and it was a lot easier that way.

BASIC ANALYTICAL SKILLS:
1) You have a 3-gallon jug and a 5-gallon jug. You need to measure out exactly 7 gallons of water. How can you do it?
2) A boat has a ladder that has six rungs — each rung is one foot apart. The bottom rung is one foot from the water. The tide rises at 12 inches every 15 minutes. High tide peaks in one hour. When the tide is at its highest, how many rungs are under water?
3) The poor have it. The rich don’t need it. If you eat it, you will die. What is "it"?
BASIC ETHICAL QUESTIONS
1) Imagine you were sent back in time from the present day to Germany, 1939. You were now suddenly in a room where Adolph Hitler was sleeping. You have a loaded gun in your hand. Knowing what you know about Hitler’s future plans, what do you do and why?
2) You are on beach when you suddenly see two people drowning. You only have enough time and resources to save one person. One of the people has the cure for cancer figured out. The other person is the one true love of your life. Who do you save and why?
3) FINAL QUESTION (A two-part ethics question that requires absolute honesty, please!)
Part 1: If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had eight children already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Remember your honest answer and go to question 2.
Part 2: It is time to elect the world leader, and yours is the deciding vote. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:

I feel so desperate…
Okay, I’ll grab my courage together and tell my story; I was abused by my bigger brother and bullied at school. This one day, I had Winter Exams, I just freaked out while I was looking in the mirror, and suddenly I saw that a little piece of my fore tooth was missing and…I became nuts…I started crying and had high blood pressure, I’ve had scared thoughts before..But this one was a blast..I thought I was going to die because of what I saw…Then I got hospitalized in a local hospital where they threw me in the isolation room and left me there for days…They said I was having a psychotic attack later…
From since then.. I never fully recovered…I was thinking weird thoughts like that there were cameras everywhere watching over me, or doctors where reading my thoughts…I got medication..And it didn’t cure my psychosis… (I was 14 years old so they couldn’t call it cure Schizophrenia yet I think)
Now, I’m 16 years old and I’m still not cured..I feel weird..I think weird, and have lots of physical pain every day…Pain in my legs, muscles, whole my body feels in pain, amplified by severe (never ending) mental problems, I always think people are staring at me on the streets and I feel very guilty…I always feel empty thoughts..And I think a lot…and I mean… A LOT.
Thus, my primary question is, how did I get in this mess and how can I get out of it :’( I feel emotional, physical and mental pain almost every day..I’ve been living like this for months now and I’m also hospitalized and the doctors don’t know what’s wrong with me, they say I have to live with, but it’s stupid..They don’t have to feel my pain every day..I’ve been thinking of suicide a lot lately, I want to be death..Not feel pain anymore…I sigh a lot and crawl myself through the day…I have to watch my proud mother seeing me suffer..**** all of this sh*t I’m going through!!!..My father doesn’t love me anymore because he thinks I’m a loser, my friends all left me…
I asked this question, because I don’t know what to do anymore, I thought I could find some relief on yahoo answers..I don’t know, this question will probably have few answers because guess what, almost no one cares about who I am or what I’m going through..Don’t take offense, I’m just suffering a lot and it’s driving me mad and crazy, please, someone help me..
Wow, I got 7 answers..Thanks a lot guys, I was desperate and was scared to ask this question at first, I don’t like to bother others with my problems, you know…Again thanks a lot to all who answered!
Boundless infinity, thanks for your answer to..I guess I have to stay strong, just hope I’ll make it through another day…Thanks for the helping answers.
Jesi, also thx for your answer.
I’ve been dealing with constant anxiety attacks and high blood pressure for the past 5 years. My doctor says that both of these are related and that he’s afraid if I don’t get my blood pressure (and by connection, my anxiety level) down soon, I might contract some serious health issues. A major contributing factor is my Tourette’s Syndrome (please, don’t mock me for having this. I’ve gotten enough crap for it throughout my life. If you don’t know what it is, google it. It isn’t a funny disease, at all), which becomes agitated when I get anxious, which unfortunately makes people stare at me, which makes me even more anxious. It’s a never ending cycle. I’m also having tons of related mental and physical issues because of my constant anxiety: paranoia, occasional schizophrenia, migraines, passing out, moderate hypochondria, dizzy spells, irritable bowel, digestive problems, insomnia, frequent panic attacks (I’ve had one that nearly killed me), and sometimes I’ll stutter so badly I can’t carry on a normal conversation. Can anybody give me good advice on how to curb or maybe cure this constant (and unexplainable) anxiety? I can’t stress GOOD enough. I’ve tried all of the common knowledge therapies: take deep breaths, do yoga, count to ten, meditate. None of these help. I’m worried. My doctor says he’s never seen a more nerve-wracked individual in his thirty years of practicing medicine.
can anyone give me any home remedies that might help with high blood pressure? I am on a prescription but it’s not doing what it should. Any help would be awseome
Im not fat, I only eat sea salt and I dont eat greasy foods. Im 31 years old and My blood pressure is way to high for my age. it runs about 154/105 if not higher.
have 2 problems linked if you could anwer both I’d be glad.If you’re gonna say go to a doctor than don’t bother I have an appointment but it’s after a major exam unfortunately.
1)I’m a college student who for some time have been experiencing high blood pressure, heart rate, shortness of breath diziness and exercice intolerance which is due to anxiety. I didn’t really cure it but the symptoms had almost dissapeared before coming back worse especially the exercice intolerance. I can’t climb even half-a set of stairs I can’t walk for more than 15min I have trouble standing after a long sit my heart goes crazy and I used to be athletic. My folks say it’s stress and that it will go away but I dunno do you know a way a medicine or anything like alcohol or garlic that will make the stress go away and that might calm my heart rate which is high even during rest.
2) because of this heart problem I haven’t been able to satisfy my sexual needs for 20 days alonee or with someone as I felt like having a heart attack last time and am too scared. How bad is it? And is it wise to wait until my heart is cured or will it have a worse impact for the heart after a long time?
And also how long can a man go without that and how does it end is there a risk of coming in the middle of the street or the exam(which is in 2 days? If so how can I reduce my libido?
I went to a neurologist for on going migraines, dizziness, comprehension and memory problems, weakness etc. These symptoms come and go every 3-4 months or so… He has sent me for a MRI and prescribed me beta blockers he said these will help with my migraines.
So will taking beta blockers make my migraines and dizziness go away? and also if he thinks this is the cure why is he sending me for a MRI?
I thought beta blockers were used for people with high blood pressure? My blood pressure is fine although my resting pulse rate is at the least on a good day 110… and no im not over weight and i have gone to a cardiologist and he said everything with my heart was fine.
A question about Arthritis ?
Thanks !

I have a one year old little boy born September 18 08. I developed pre-eclmapsia around 29 weeks (ish) he had to be delivered early (35 wks) by emergency c-section because my blood pressure was so high. He was born completely developed just didnt know how to suck so stayed in NICU for a couple of weeks to learn the bottle. I have a family history of high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia. Im certain the same will happen with this pregnancy. I know the only cure to this is delivering the baby. My question is, is there any medication that I could take once it comes on to keep my blood pressure down so this baby can stay in longer. Or is there any cases where they do not have to deliver early? I’m worried sick about it.
Yes it is definitely a horrible way to have to go thru pregnancy. I was so sick "morning sickness" all day every day all 8 months and lost 50 lbs after is was all said and done. I just found out I am pregnant like and hour ago so I will definitely be making a DR. appt.
I wanted to keep him in longer but it was unbearable the headache was the worst pain..he was unresponsive too so they had no choice.
I was pregnant with my son and I had severe swelling and had difficulty urinating. I was drinking plenty of water but somehow my urine was still highly concentrated. I was also gaining about a pound a day, in one month i gained about 35lbs.My swelling was so bad you could leave imprints on my body, there were days when i could barely open my eyes. My doctor said it was normal but I knew there was something wrong. I went to another doctor for a second opinion and after numerous tests it turned out that I had preeclampsia, but is was too late. I went into early labor and preeclampsia caused me to have high blood pressure. I wasn’t able to have a natural birth like I always dreamed of and had to be rushed in for a c-section. I then stayed in the hospital for 8 days for my blood pressure would not stabilize. If detected in time I could have been cured and have had a safe delivery, but that was taken away from me.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure about 4 years ago. I was treated with medication that worked. That was when I had insurance. Now I am in a waiting period for insurance, don’t want to see a doctor because of that pre-existing condition thing, and don’t have any medication left. Is there any herbal medicine or anything else that will bring my blood pressure down without meds? I can’t drink wine before I go to work, although I wish I could. HA! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Latest reports revela that I have Triiodthyroinin (T3) level of 32 ug/ml, Thyroxine (T4) level of 1.3 ug/dl, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormones (TSH) 64.6 uIU/ml.
Problems: over weight (95 kg), breathing inconvenienec and high blood pressure (in the range 150 /120 to 120/90)
Medicines using: THYRONRM -50 and RAMISTAR-H5
I had anemia in 1996 and 2004 and got cured with medication. I have normal level of HB count at present without medicines.
But the Dcotor now opines that thyroid could have been the root cause for the anemia too. No one detected thyroid previously.
I would be grateful if anyone suugests proper medication for my problem. Thanks in advance.

Ok, this might be a long shot, but I’m gonna ask anyway…I am taking Meds. for TB, even though I don’t really have it, but I have all the symptoms. In November of 2006 had a CT Scan that showed only 2-3mm nodules, now about 2 weeks ago had an X-ray done and found a millary of nodules. I’m a smoker and I am 31yrs. old, I have a history of lung cancer on my Father’s side, and High Blood Pressure on my Mother’s side. Now going in Monday for another CT Scan, to see how bad it is. I’m having tightness in my chest and trouble breathing. I’ve been on Amoxillian, Albuterol, and Mucinex D, but nothing seems to help. I’m still smoking but I’ve cut back alot, and I just started the TB medicine. What I’m wondering is; if its Lung Cancer, will the TB medication help it out at all? Or if anyone else could help me, in figuring out what it could be, please help me. I also have a problem with Panic Attacks, and Anxiety, but I’m trying to over come that. Please can anyone help me?
Well, I really have no cough, and no red spots coming up with phlem. I do however, have alot of chest tightness, and pressure right in the middle of my chest. There’s pain and pressure behind my breastbone. I have really bad panic attacks especially at night, feeling like I can’t breath, and my heart races, but thats probably because of my panic attacks. I’m down to only like 5 or 6 cigarettes a day. On the left side of my ribs I usually get a sharp stabbing pain down towards where my elbow ends, when my hands are place to my side. I’m not sure what other information you need, but please let me know as soon as possible.
Well, I still think its just my panic attacks getting the best of me. Heart beating fast, and I try so hard to calm down. I’m still getting my CT Scan on Monday, so hopefully I will find what it is.
My husband and I have a 20 month old son, and he told me the other day he wants to have another child but for our children not to be more than three years apart (our son turns two in March). I was excited about it because I have been wanting another child ever since ours started walking. But on the other hand I am scared. First of all, I am afraid of the pain my first pregnancy was induced then I had a cesarean because of high blood pressure. I can think about the pulling on my skin to take the baby out, the gagging because of anaesthsia, the spinal tap which hurt bad, and all the pain from the surgery and feel nautious. Another thing was postpartum depression I stayed depressed for several months and eventually got over it. The feedings, from formula to solids, breaking bottles again, potty training it all seems so complicated even though I have done it. On the other hand my son is perfectly healthy, gorgeous, and I don’t want to regret later not having anymore children. Advice?
There’s no daycare or anything I am a stay at home mom, in one sense I really want another child because I see other babies and get excited thinking about pregnancy all over, but on the other hand I am scared out of my mind about the surgery mostly.
What’s the extant of the research on Diabetes? Cancer?
How much money is being donated daily, monthly, quarterly, annually, and per decade.
How many people are currently researching Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimer’s, AIDS or HIV, High Blood Pressure, ADHD, Bipolar, Etc? If you are, then just say yes, and where your lab is and what you are researching and any breakthroughs or near breakthroughs you are willing to share, I will count how many yes responses there are.
How close is the cure for Cancer and Diabetes?
Don’t you think the people studying telomeres for ageism should talk to the people researching Cancer?
Which of these illnesses, diseases, syndrome, disorders, viruses, etc will be cured this year, in the next 5 years, in the next 10 years, in the next 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, or 50+ years from now? Or has no chance to be cured, or has no reason?
Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimer’s, AIDS or HIV, High Blood Pressure, ADHD, Bipolar, The common Cold, Influenza any, H1N1, Appendicitis, Acne, Tai-Sachs, Schizophrenia, Other STD’s, Shingles(hated it), Chicken Pox (can that be deadly??? I don’t think so) Cerebral Palsy , I can’t think of more now but say if there is a new thing with something important
I don’t think ADHD is worth curing but needs to be understood more deeply.
I do have other neurological diseases listed and the same should go for them.
I did just see on discovery that there is a gene that has blocking effects on diseases such as AIDS and The Bubonic Plague disease whatever that’s called, I think its D 32 I don’t remember.
I told the dentist I have high blood pressure. Wants a doctor to okay pulling my tooth.
My tears keep running. I can’t stop crying. I found a stray dog and kept the dog for a month. Well, the dog has severe heartworms. We took him to the vet and they said he was going to die and should put him to sleep. However, I sad is there anything we can do to save his life. The vet suggested giving him med such as high blood pressure med, heart disease, and antibiotics. The dog was on the med for about 1 1/2 weeks. There is no progress. Well, today the dog had trouble breathing and had a temperature of 93. We rushed our dog to the vet and suggested from a different vet to put him to sleep. I feel sooooooo guilty that I gave up. I didnt want to see him suffer. I do not know if that was the right thing or not. I know my question is a bit late, but I am curious if there is a cure. I was told by 3 vets that the answer was no. I pray that Chico is in a better place and God is taken care of him.
Last year my mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer. She already has diabetes and MS. The thought of any of her ailments being inherited to me or any of my four children was terrifying.
I did much research, and finally found something that truly made sense to me. RAW food. I have been enjoying the benefits from it for some time, and am now enjoying living with alkaline blood. My husband is mostly raw, and loves everything I prepare. He still enjoys eating cooked food, dairy and occasionally meat, but 70% of his diet is raw.
My children, ranging from 7-16years are "grossed out" by it. With encouragement, they are consuming less pasteurized dairy products, and eating more greens.
Does anyone know of any steps I can take to further encourage their participation in this lifestyle that has me feeling so good?
Some of you will inevitably attack raw vegan food… but know this… this diet has cured me of gum disease, chronic acne, cluster headaches and high blood pressure… so whatever your argument, make it good… because unless you have been raw, you couldn’t possibly know the true benefits of it.
I HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND HIGH CHOLESTEROL, SO MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED CADUET. I TOOK THIS FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND COMPLAINED ABOUT SORE MUSSLES AND FATIGUE. I WENT BACK AND WAS TOLD TO CONTINUE TAKING THE MEDICATION. I WAS AT A POINT I COULDNT GET OUT OF BED. I LOST MY 6 FIGURE JOB AND NOW UNEMPLOYED. MY NEW DOCTOR SAYS I HAVE THIS DECEASE FROM THE MEDS. NOW WHAT DO I DO? IS THIS DANGEROUS? CAN THIS BE CURED? I CAN’T EVEN WALK THE DOG NOW I’M IN PAIN.
I read this article and it helped me learn what are the ways that fasting can improve someones health. Also on tv the sheik advises anyone with any health problem like high blood pressure ,diabetes, cholestrol to fast even during the fitr days .
1. Attitude About Juice Fasting: One key to juice fasting over water fasting is the ability to prevent ketosis (disrupted carbohydrate metabolism in response to chronic starvation) by continuously providing simple carbohydrates that are used by your body for energy and nutrition to the cells. Some individuals, however, believe that carb overload is the reason why Americans are fat.
2. Attitude about Skipping Meals: One study suggests that skipping a meal occasionally is not all that bad, especially if weight loss is a goal. However, be aware of changes in metabolic rate (see below).
3. Autonomic Nervous System: According to this article, fasting appears to have a normalizing effect on the overall tone of the autonomic nervous system. This normalization decreases possibilities for a number of issues ranging from digestive disturbances to anxiety disorders.
4. Awareness: Fasting can heighten awareness, depending upon the health of the individual, the goal for fasting and the ability to eliminate toxins from the system.
5. Back Pain: Back pains caused by muscular tightness and stress rather than from bone disease or osteoporosis may be alleviated with a lighter diet or juice fasting.
6. Bad Health Habits: In some people, fasting has helped break cravings for alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and some drug addictions.
7. Blood Pressure: Water fasting may correct your high blood pressure to a safe range within two weeks without drugs. This level of pressure can be maintained if the diet is changed rather than going back to old eating habits. This study was conducted in a controlled setting.
8. Cell Proliferation: This study, done on mice, showed that intermittent fasting slowed cell production, which also showed cancer development. Slowing down the rate of cell proliferation essentially buys time for the cells to repair genetic damage that may cause cancer.
9. Cholesterol: One study about a 30-day Muslim fast showed significant decrease in LDL (”bad” cholesterol), total serum cholesterol and serum triglycerides at the end of the fasting period. There also was a significant increase in “good” cholesterol (HDL) that showed at the end of the fast and continued to show for one month after the fast.
10. Chronic cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure: Fasting can reduce triglycerides, atheromas, total cholesterol and may increase HDL levels.
11. Energy Flow: Through this logic, fasting enables the body to slow down to the point where the individual can listen to the body through the mind. This ‘vital force’ is clouded when the body is filled with toxins. However, one study with flies showed that the value of diminished appetite to an animal’s survival may vary with the infecting microbe.
12. Fat Mobilization [PDF]: Fasting may move the body to mobilize fat stores from adipose tissue (the fat under your skin) to consume that fat as energy. Short fasts also may protect proteins in your body with the release of a growth hormone.
13. Heart Health: The day-long, once-a-month fast many Mormons undertake as a part of their faith may help explain the lower rates of coronary artery disease in this population, according to a study presented at the American Heart Assn.’s scientific sessions in Orlando, Florida, in 2007.
14. Homeostasis: Basically, your metabolic equilibrium, or ability to heal, could undergo a change during fasting. When fasting is employed as a therapeutic measure, it changes the playing field for disease and infection. This article quotes Louis Pasteur, “The pathogen is nothing, the terrain is everything” for an argument on why fasting can be used as a cure for injury or disease.
15. Insulin and Blood Sugars: A study from the National Institute on Aging found that skipping meals frequently can help mice maintain healthier glucose and insulin levels. The study provides insight into the possible effect of fasting on glucose metabolism.
16. Life Span: The point behind this list of articles and studies is that caloric reduction, overall, is one way to increase a life span. Lower metabolic rates, slower cell proliferation and less body fat that holds toxic matter all lead to a healthier life. This translates, for many people, into a longer life.
17. Lifestyle: If you want to change your life to feel healthier and more productive, this author believes that fasting provides the pivot for that change.
18. Mental Alertness: When toxins are removed from the lymphatic and blood systems, this change improves mental clarity. Eating less also results in energy conservation, which can be used by the brain for thinking tasks.
19. Metabolism: While many people believe that a fast metabolism is key to weight loss,

Red is the color of energy, vitality and power. It is used for burning out cancer, drying up weeping sores or wounds, etc., it will warm cold areas to reduce pain. Red is a powerful healing agent for healing diseases of the blood and circulation. It will help with depression. Red is not to be used on people with high blood pressure or anxiety. If you stay under the red ray too long or are exposed to red for a considerable time it will make you very agitated or even aggressive. It is associated with the male polarity. A red carpet or wall – in a place of business – will draw money. If you are a sales person – try wearing something red!!
——————————————————————————–
ORANGE
The mental body in both its logical and conceptual form. It is used to increase immunity, to increase sexual potency, to help in all digestive ailments, chest and kidney diseases. Orange will have a gentle warming effect if used lightly. Orange, like red should not be used for too long. It is not a good color for nervous people or people easily agitated.
——————————————————————————–
PEACH
The peach frequency is used for peace, truth, and balance.
——————————————————————————–
YELLOW
Yellow is the color of intellect and it is used for mental stimulation, it will help you think quicker. It is good for clearing a foggy head. To help cure dermatitis and other skin problems and again it must be used carefully because it is very stimulating and it could cause exhaustion and depression.
——————————————————————————–
GREEN
Green is the color of healing and traveling back in time. It will balance the emotions and brings about a feeling of calmness. Green is a good general healing color because it stimulates growth therefore it is good for helping heal broken bones – regrowth of tissue of all kinds. Green is also alchemy – the alchemy of consciousness from one realm to another through the spiraling energies of DNA – Sacred Geometry
Green as a healing frequency can be placed around family members who are ill. Though many of you are not attuned in the palms of your hands with this frequency color – it is part of you now.
If you wish to heal someone – begin by asking the person if they wish to be healed. That may sound like a silly question but it is necessary. Help them find the emotional base for the ailment if you can, before you heal anyone.
You can not promise to heal them but you can make them feel more comfortable and show them how healing is done. Perhaps you can awaken the healing abilities in others. Just remember not to force this with anyone who is not ready and that healing is not for everyone.
When you and the person are ready to begin, find a calm quiet place. Be sure the person is relaxed with what you are doing and assure them you will not hurt them in any way. If you have a favorite healing crystal–use that when you heal.
The person can sit or lay down. No need to remove their clothing. Work first with the emotional aspects of the problem. Give the person hope. Get them to relax.
Ask your guides to protect you so their energies do not enter into your frequency.
Visualize the color green coming through your palms as you hold them just above –or gently on–someone with a problem.
Scan their body for ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ spots. That is where the blockages are. Tell them what you are doing and what you see and feel.
Now visualize the green healing energies coming through you as you work. Visualize them entering the person’s body at the higher levels, especially the emotional body. Watch them sift through the cells of the person who is ill and moving the Chi energies.
You can have a third person take a picture of your doing the healing to see if you get a green aura of light around you or the person.
Feel your connection to the higher frequencies as you heal. Work with the heart chakra as it is the frequency green. You may even take it to the newer frequency of green=turquoise (green -blue).
There is no time limit for this. Usually a few minutes is all that is needed. Try to repeat the healing for 3 consecutive days–10 minutes a day.
You can heal yourself as well.
You can teach others to use the color green to heal.
You can send the green frequency to the planet for healing.
Try a past life regression with someone you trust placing them in the green bubble. See where you knew them in another lifetime. Green takes you back in time.
ok sorry~purple is a very spiritual color often associated with enlightenment and psychic abilities~also very present in natural channels and healers~anybody into the higher spiritual growth areas~psychics, healers, mediums often gravitate to this color
Black~(actually black and silver)
protective~ encompassing~and reflective
oftetimes in olden days black candles were used to dissipate or reflect negative energies back to the sender~~ silver is also used for this purpose.
also black candles were used in protection spells to cast a cloak over someone under psychic attack~~
silver is oftentimes seen also as a wealth attractor~so is dark green and the color gold

Dear
Sir
my father is a patient of Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay since 3 years
but unfortunately the deases of my father is on control but not cured like my father is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, anemia, diabetes and high blood pressure since 5 years. Before 1 year when my father was at assam suddenly he fainted in the morning and next day also he fainted like that it goes for some days while he was fainted his eyes were wide open and his lips were pale.We checked the random sugar level and it was normal nearly 120.After that we went to chennai apollo for checkup where he was done a lots of tests including MRI ,colour dopler, ct scan, etc but failed to find the actual reason of faintaing. After that we came back to kolkata and after few months he again fall ill and was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles kolkata and was diagnosed pneumonia and staphylococcal septicaemia.Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay saaid that my Dad had a minor attack of stroke and also he was talking like a mad,non meningful talks constently.
Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay stopped all the medicine prescribed by chennai Apollo hospital. Now for long 6 months he is taking the medicines prescribed by Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay the medicine are tablet Pantocid it,Minipres-xl 5mg ,wysolone 2.5mg tablet cetapin xr 500 ,amaryl 2mg,nexito 5mg ,stamlo 2.5mg, tablet folvite,p650,lonazep 0.5mg.He also has a eye problem on right eye cataract, and glaucoma and the medicine for eye is gatilox eye drop, homarin forte eye drop, prednisolone acetate eye drop ,combigan eye drop. Now my Dad cant stand without the help of Walker nor he can stand by his own without our help even he has to do toilet on the bed.
Now the matter of concern is that today on 11/02/2010 at nearly 2pm while he was sitting in a chair near the dining table he was feeling sleepy and ill.He asked my mom to give him lunch and immediately asked for water but before she could give it he fainted. His eyes became wide open and lips pale.We sprinkled lots of water gave him water to drink and after trying for 2 minutes or so he regained his senses. As he was hungry we gave him buiscuits and water. After almost 20 minutes of that we gave him his lunch but after swallowing it once he vomited. After that we again gave him his lunch about 45 minutes later and he could consume it then.
So
Sir
Please do help us by providing the best treatment to make our father move and make him healthy and get rid from the fainting problem
your advice is highly appreciated
thanking you your sincearly
My boyfriend has high blood pressure and does not want to have to take all kinds of medicine to lower it. I have looked up natural remedies and found about a million suggestions so far….my question is this….does anyone know of ONE "blend" or formula of natural herbs/vitamins that will help lower his BP without buying 50 different bottles of supplements? Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Could anyone here shares their experience on boiled neem leaves as a means of curing sickness, as tonic drink, or as part of their lives without any side effect on their body.
I have been taking a cup of fresh Neem boiled leaves here to treat my hypertension for two months every night. It lowered my cholesterol and dropped my high blood pressure to 130/90 from 150/100. Since I have no actual and informations or advice from the medical expert, I am afraid with long lasting use will affect my vital organs. I hope I can hear someone to share their experience as a validation of the vitality of the herbal. Thank you
if someone is having trouble breathing and stops breathing when they sleep and has high blood pressure and chest pains does anyone know a cure for that?
Okay, my Dad went for a physical recently because we KNEW something was wrong (I won’t go through the details). They found out that he was passing 7 blood cells through his urine, and that wasn’t normal there (so they said), and now he is passing 20 blood cells. Okay, I know this isn’t normal, but I was wondering what causing this and why isn’t it normal? I want to understand what is wrong with my Dad because I’m not getting any of this. I overheard him talking to his mom and dad and I obviously wasn’t suppose to know, but unfortunately, I do, and I’ve been worried sick! They’re not SURE if he has cancer, cause they’re still running tests, but still, they think there is a high possibility he has prostate cancer. It’s so scary to think about this – but he has been improving some, I can tell. Whatever it is, there is a cure I know, but my Dad suffers from high blood pressure as well as high Cholesterol, and takes pill for both. Could high Cholesterol have caused this at all? High Cholesterol and heart problems unfortunately run in my family, but we’ve never had a record of any type of cancer or anything like that.
But anyways, here are my Q’s:
1. WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS?
2. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP (CAN I HELP)?
3. HOW EASILY CAN THIS BE CURED?
**4. WHY IS IT TAKING THEM SO LONG TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?? They’re constantly running test after test and I would this by now that they would have at least found out something!
5. HOW CAN I HELP MYSELF? I’VE BEEN VERY STRESSED OVER SCHOOL LATELY, BUT NOW THIS – I CAN BARELY MANAGE IT ALL! IF MY DAD DOES HAVE CANCER, I DON’T THINK I COULD TAKE IT. IT DOESN’T SEEM POSSIBLE.
Please no rude comments, please understand I am going through some hard times ride now, and all I’m wanting are some reasonable answers to my questions. Thanks so much to anyone who does answer. =)
My grandma is 77. When she was in Cambodia before living in the U.S, the pul pot(the Vet that practically destroyed Cambodia) was there. they killed my grandpa and my uncles. only her and my mom survived. now, she is very sick. everyday she says shes "really" sick. she complains everyday. shes so annoying now. she always goes in my room and starts to be nosy. my mom takes care of her everyday. more than she takes care of my family. and if you dont listen to my grandma, shell start crying and say your mean and a bad person. she is sooo selfish. she likes to play slots a lot. she has a gambling problem. A BAD ONE. The doctors cant cure her sickness. She has leg cramps, high blood pressure, and if she smells any chemicals shell get sick for almost a week. lately, shes been coming up with excuses. like now she cant sit in teh back of the car anymore because of the material on the chair and stuff. she is giving me stress everyday freaking day.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER? =[
I have high blood pressure, and I am currently taking a mild hypertension medication called Methyldopa 250 mg three times per day. This medication is appropriate for me because I’m breastfeeding. My question is: what over-the-counter remedy or remedies can I safely take for the following symptoms: sneezing; runny nose; nasal congestion; coughing. I saw on a commercial that Coricidin is safe for patients with high blood pressure, but when I purchased it, the box indicated that it would only treat chest congestion and cough; it won’t help sneezing, runny nose or nasal congestion. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
We are AGAINST animal MEDICAL experimentation in our debate project
and would like to know some peoples’ opinions on quotes from an
article that is FOR animal medical experimentation.
what would you say to these:
1. "Some people also argue that animal research is no longer necessary
because modern technology can replace the use of animals…However,
many factors affecting both human and animal lives can only be studied
using research animals. The use of research animals has been and will
continue to be essential to finding the causes and cures for many
diseases.
2. Rats are valuable research subjects because their body systems are
similar to humans and other animals in many respects. The animals are
also susceptible to many of the diseases that affect humans…whenever
surgery is performed, anesthesia is used.
3. Research involving animals has helped identify the causes of high
blood pressure and develop more effective drugs to control the
problems. Other research has resulted in treatments for strokes and
heart attacks that save thousands of lives and reduce recovery time.
4. Dogs have been especially important to researchers who developed
open-heart surgery, pacemakers, and heart transplants. These
techniques have revolutionized the therapy for people who have severe
heart disease.
5. According to Dr. Joseph Murray, winner of the 1990 Nobel Prize for
Medicine, "There would not be a single person alive today as a result
of organ transplant or bone-marrow transplant without animal
experimentation."
My partner and I really need some different perspectives against/for
these quotes and would like to know the many opinions on animal
medical experimentation. We are against it for this debate.
thanks in advance ;]
I’m 23 years old. Not too over weight and in decent shape. I can go a month having sex 2 or 3 times a day with my woman. Then, out of nowhere, I’ll think about it and I will lose my erection in the middle of sex. For a few days after that I will have problems getting it up. I will be able to perform during this time, just not as much as usual. I used to have high blood pressure but have lost enough weight to where it is in check. I haven’t been diagnosed yet, but I’m pretty sure I suffer from anxiety. The main thing that bothers me is that I can’t get it all the way hard while masturbating after this happens. Someone please help me and let me know what could be going on and if there are cures for every kind of ED. Thanks.
What kind of help is available for that kind of problem? I’ve heard anxiety meds cause ED ![]()
She doesn’t want to do surgery. She bleeds a lot, whenever she uses the restroom (literally bleeds from the backside). She’s had this problem for 3 years, and it keeps getting worse. (She also has high blood pressure). She drinks a lot of water, takes Vitamin C, but what else is there? I’m skeptical of all these different cures available online, they all seem like scams. I’m really worried, and I know she is also, but she doesn’t actually care about her health (doesn’t have a doctor). Any advice, home tips, or REAL cures? Thank you so much in advance.
Thank you all so much for your answers. I was surprised when I found this many, and it made me feel better. I’m kind of confused because of the contrasting replies, but I can incorporate them all. Somehow. I think I’ll just continue taking care of her at home, and I guess eventually she’ll have to see a doctor.
She looses about 2 cups a day.
I’m interested in adopting a Raw food diet, however I don’t want to become 100% raw. I still plan to each various cooked foods, and meats(chicken, seafood)… because I can’t let them go sorry! However, majority of my diet with be consisting of raw foods.
I became interested in raw foods, literally last week, when a friend of my cousin was found to be cured of type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure after suffering with them for 20 years.
My question: Will I still receive the health benefits, and all the good things that come with having a raw food diet.. Even if I continue to add cooked foods and meat to my diet.
Hello, i have a very serious question, and i need serious answers please. Recently over that last 2 months i have developed a stress, anxienty related sexual performance issue, i can achieve an erection but when i begin intercourse, my penis goes limp. mind u, im only 23 and i have never had an erection problem before in my life. I have figured it has to do with anxienty, stress and depression, all of which i regretable have.
Sometimes i achieve an erection while im laying with my girlfriend or have one for over an hour without intent, but as far as sex goes, i cant mainatin and erection for intercourse…
I have read and heard about the natural effects of Nitric Oxide, and its uses for ED. Now, im asking if any of you have had any experience taking such a remedy, or any similar remedies excluding prescribed medications. I have two doctors i can talk to, luckily their both foreign doctors and practice natural medicine, so this would be right up their alley.
Please give me whatever information you can about natural remedies for ED, including topical formulas, sensitizing oils, etc, non illegal enhancers. Also will alcohol possible help, i dont regularly drink, i do not smoke, but my girlfriend does, i dont smoke weed or do any drugs. This might be informitive, this started around the time when i used a flowmax pill prescibed to me, but it was one single pill and i have take them before with no problematic side effects relating to ED. I have tried basic water based KY lube, would it help if i had a warming version of the lube instead.
onem more question as well. I probly have high blood pressure, what can i take thats natural to lower it?
Thank You in advance
I have been to a gyne a dermatoligest had a pap smear had blood tests. The white stuff is not a discharge it seems to be over the red spots that were itching after bleeding white shows. I am a diabetic high blood pressure and high cholestrol None of my doctors have come close to curing this problem. They all say they have seen this before wont say what it is but tell me to take meds and they never work. They ruled out std’s. I have a daughter that has the same thing she is 37 we do not live together. she has had it for 4 yrs and no dr. helps her either. After the itch is opened by scratching yes it has a smell. it bleeds then the white forms over.
In my Human Growth and Development class, we have a debate on Pharmaceutical (Drug) companies, and whether they are good or bad. My teacher assigned my group and I pro (for/good).
We need an opening statement, two arguments, and a closing statement. Additional notes and such are recommended. It is also recommended that we use things such as graphs, examples, etc.
My group isn’t helping at all and I’ve been stuck doing everything, and now I need to somehow write an opening and closing statement, and write the two arguments out properly with information to back it up by tonight.
My first argument:
Without their research, we wouldn’t have discovered treatment for cancer (radiation and chemotherapy) and many of the cancer patients who have survived and are healing would be dead right now. If it weren’t for these drugs, we’d all be diseased and most likely dead – drug companies have discovered vaccinations to diseases such as smallpox, malaria, the Spanish influenza, and et cetera. They have kept the human race from dying out. For those who have sex, there would be so many people who would go untreated for STI’s and would ultimately end up giving it to other people. Therefore, these STI’s would spread globally and there would be no way to cure it.
My second argument:
Drug companies generate revenue for the economy because they create medicines for foreign outbreaks which basically helps advance the scientific knowledge of the country. This would ultimately increase life expectancy for the human race.
Additional points:
-Prescription drugs can often be the answer for life-threatening conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol or even cancer. These drugs help stimulate and mimic a well functioning body, so there are a number of people whose lives are saved daily because of prescription drugs. Without them, they would have a lower quality of life and even risk death.
-Less crowding in jails, less taxpayer money going to worthless rehab programs, more taxes from the sales of said drugs, new jobs and industries in America, : It would create a revenue steam, and jobs, crime rates go down, less overcrowded jail & prison system…..
-All drug companies want to make a profit – just like any other business. When you consider the numerous doctors and skilled scientists who work for years just to perfect and test a new drug, ultimately some1 must pay for all that. Logically, it would be from those whom that new drug has/had actually helped.
-People are always an inch away from death and get cured due to the new technology and medications created.
-Drug companies are not in it FOR THE MONEY. Drug companies manufacture & market drugs, many of which are cures for various diseases. For example, its like saying, "Do ambulance drivers REALLY want people to get to the hospital? After all, they get paid for driving you there"
-Drug companies exist to make money for the people that own them & work for them, just like every other kind of business. Every time a company comes up with a cure for something that really works, they make HEAPS of money and at the same time they are saving peoples’ lives. They use this money for research to fund trials for new drugs and development.
If there are any grammatical errors, I apologize as I wrote those down very quickly. Anyway, my question is: are those two arguments legit? And what examples and information could I add and use?
Thank you SO much for your help – 10 points to the BEST and MOST INFORMATIVE/HELPFUL answer.
I’m not asking for your opinion on whether or not pharmaceutical companies are good.
I was told I was doing for drug companies, so that’s my argument. I need examples and other information to back up my arguments.
Thank you.
i go to the dr. today to find out if i do have it…im very nervous about being told if i do..
i am 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant..will they wait a week or 2 then induce me cause thats the only cure for it?
im currently on medicine for my high blood pressure and its working…
but my feet are swollen and my weights been yo-yoing..
Hi there! I had high blood pressure before I got pregnant and all through my pregnancy and I ended up with pre-eclampsia and was induced early. I had to have my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and my milk supply never came back like it was coming before surgery. Even pumping every hour I can only get out 2 or 3 ounces. So I have to supplement with formula now
Now at 2 months my blood pressure is still high and my doctor wants to put me on blood pressure medicine. But that means I would have to stop breastfeeding all together at 2 months
as that medicine is not good to pass on to baby. My doctor says that my BP is so high it could pose a risk to me sometime in the near future, im only 24. I dont want to stop yet though, I had planned on breastfeeding for a while. And I feel incredibly guilty even if he only gets a little everyday, at least he is getting something right? Should I stop all together and take the medicine?
thanks for your opinion
Its called Micardis
The part that is swollen is around the "dark circle" area & under that part like down towards the cheek a little. Her eye is not red or itchy. It tears a lot but don’t know if it’s related. It’s been happening for the past few days she wakes up like that and it gets a little better during the day but it won’t go away completely. I would like to find some homemade cures since she takes some medicines for high blood pressure & a few things more. Could it be an allergy? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance.
She also is recovering from avery bad cold
my brother have had a stroke a month ago he missed his voice ,but he is okay now (he has two mechanical valves high blood pressure Af and taking anticoagulants )Last ten days he had bleeding because of polyp in colon so, he had a surgery and they remove it now he is recovering, but sometimes he experiences shortness of breath so, what is the cause and is it risky and can it be cured . Thank you for helping me understand and God bless everybody.
Aside from the obvious methods of eating right, exercises and lowering salt intake. Are there any natural herbs or remedies that can lower really high blood pressure quickly ? I’m talking really high as in 180 over 110.. Heart attack stroke kinda blood pressure. Thanks for your replies.. God bless you !
Have you ever heard of scleroderma? This is a rare condition that is increasing in frequency. It causes progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. It is 3 to 4 times more common in women than men, particularly younger African American women, but it can affect anyone. The cause is unknown, but researchers suggest that environmental and genetic factors play a role.
In typical cases, patients first develop skin thickening on the fingers or elsewhere. Patients may complain of cold, swelling, and puffy fingers and hands. Arthritic symptoms are also common throughout the body. As the disease progresses, additional organs are affected such as the heart, esophagus, joints, muscles, and lungs. Patients can develop sudden severe high blood pressure and even kidney failure. There is no specific blood test for the diagnosis, although many different tests will be abnormal. There are several treatments but no cure as yet..If you are looking for a Charity, Please give to Scleroderma.
I posted a question last week about what are 3 issue’s that Americans feel need to be addressed.
2 issues that were proposed were,
Gay Marriage and Global Warming.
My question is HOW will Gay Marriage benifit man kind?
Will this help secure the human race for eons to come?
Will this prove to be the cure for cancer, aids, diabetes, high blood pressure?
What are your thoughta on this?
I’m generalizing of course.
Do doctors want to cure you or give you meds to take care of the symptoms (only) and have you come back every few months?
One of my employees (young fellow) has high blood pressure and other health issues. The doctor gave him BP pills. Yes, his BP is now lower. Did the doctor ask him about his lifestyle, diet, weight, smoking? And MAYBE he could lower his BP by changing these bad habits? No, he pulled out the prescription pad. It was a quick fix.
Now, the poor boy had gout probably related to the BP meds, so the doctor gave him pills for that!
In the meantime, my insurance premiums keep rising which affects everyone.
Is this job security for the medical profession? Is alternative medical care a better choice?
My mother is in her 60s. She has high blood pressure, and is taking medication for that (Lisinopril, a generic for Prinivil). She also has been having sporadic light-headedness and dizzy spells. Sometimes it’s when she wakes up, sometimes it’s after work at 6pm– the timing is random, whether or not she eats anything. Generally she doesn’t eat breakfast or much at all during the day (she had a Twinkie for today’s breakfast, for instance). She’s also taking medication for dizziness– Hydrochlorothiazise, a generic for Oretic/Esidrix that, randomly enough, says it may cause dizziness on the bottle. Her dizziness is so bad that she doesn’t want to drive, for fear of passing out. She started taking the dizziness pills on Wednesday, the blood pressure pills on Thursday.
The doctor said her blood pressure medication might take about two weeks to start working properly. Until then, I figure that whatever the cause, whether it’s her blood pressure or the medication, similar home remedies would work to help her get over the light-headedness, right? Does anyone have any recommendations of food or actions to take that could help my mother get over her light-headedness and dizzy spells until her blood-pressure medication starts working?
-frequent nosebleeds
-frequent painful headaches
-random loss of ability to walk properly in one leg (happened once, during a hard day’s work, accompanied by passing out for a few seconds [happened 2 months ago])
-job: heavy lifting, including furniture, and 30-50lb bags of grout.
-went to hospital for food poisoning, and when cured, still had extremely high blood pressure, and also a heart rate of 150 bpm which continued at about 105bpm at resting state a day later.
-19 year old male, 6 feet tall, approx. 170-180lbs, has stress problems relating to life and work.
-internet links to valid sites are appreciated, thx.
were waiting for a doctors appointment, but untill then, amateur answers are good too
My twins are going to be four in july. I breast fed them exclusivly for 6 mo, then my supply couldnt keep up with the demand. They liked formula better, so i quit. sad thing is, I have never dried up. I still make milk, it expresses very easily…when I do self breat exams it will come out..my boobs are sore all the time, and I have had a biospy done on a breast lump 6 years ago, it was just fibrocystic breast lumps…but this is obnoxious..I hurt all the time. I cant play rough with the kids, or let them cuddle too much, b/c the boobs dont like to be touched. severe pain. normal activity doesnt hurt, but should I be worried? I mean, Im 23, in relatively good health, but with high blood pressure. I also have no insurance and no doctor…what do I do? just ignore it like I have been? Like my bp?
ok, now Im a little worried. what is wrong with still making milk? I mean what are the health risks associated with this?
there are so many products on the market that claim to treat, and some to heal E.D.I would like to know,if medicines issued by a medical doctor,or herbal treatments that have not been improved by the f.d.a .which is the best, especially if u suffer from medical conditions such as diebates,or high blood pressure.they have totally confused me,and of course the medical profession will not even talk about herbal treatments, they say because of the danger of severe medical interactons, that could be fatal.anyone ever here of Boston Medical Research.they have offices across the u’s,and claim they can cure most cases with one on one treatment.any feedback would help.thanks r.c.
Everyone tells me that there is no cure. That it is a progressive disease and exercise and drugs can only prolong the inevitable. Doctors don’t seem to have any of the latest tricks in their arsenal to combat the disease. Only a few are working on stem cell research. Seems to me to be a cop out that neurologist can’t give a straight answer to a patient. Where are all the $$$ going for medical research and why can’t we see any new developments or cures for the myriad of diseases such as Parkinson’s? We don’t know what causes Parkinson’s disease. We don’t have a cure for it yet? We don’t know how to treat it other than DBS (Deep Brain Surgery) We don’t have any drugs that are totally effective. The drugs we do prescribe cause many other problems and require additional drugs for depression, high blood pressure, incontinence, insomnia…etc. How about a cure already? What about prevention? How about providing something for all the dollars we spend on this dreadful disease?
What are some natural ways to lower systolic High Blood Pressure besides meditation. Herbal remedies?
she is over 70 years. She is diabetic. She takes medication for high blood pressure also so many kinds of medicine are prohibited on her.
Thanks for every body for their suggestions. She made all types of tests and x-rays. Doctors gave her medicines but her doctor prevented her from taking these medicines because it will affect the kidney, stomach and the heart. So I’m trying to give her something else than medical therapy unless it won’t affect her.
I have twins. they are almost four. I breast fed for six months, and just couldnt keep up with the demand. So, I quit. Turns out, they liked formula better, and kept it down longer. (they had acid reflux since they were so preemie.) But thing is, I still make milk. I dont try to excrete it, but when I give my self exams, with my arms above my head all I have to do is gently push the area around my nipples and it pours, sometimes even squirts out. Is this healthy? They also hurt all the time, no matter where I am in my cycle, and the pain is bad. I have lumps, but 6 yrs ago I had a biopsy, just fibrocystic lumps. But no health insurance, no dr. just making milk, and painful breasts. also have high blood pressure. any link? and is this harmful to my health? (i know the untreated bp is, but what about the milk? )
what causes hypertention? interesting but too much and loading work or least but boring work in day?
i have high blood pressure. i want to change my life style to cure it. this time i am doing two work.one is inspectional work in schools.it is interestig work but it demands very hard and too much work in hole day like cheking in schools and geting an sending information about schools in time limit. second work is teaching work and its time is 7-00 am to 12-00 pm.this work is for least time and having no much activity or work load. but it is very boring work to teaching for me.now i can do one job from both.to cure my hypertention what should i do? interesting but too much and loading work or least but boring work ?
i dont want to know about for other causes for hypertention like sodiam intake, obesity.colechtrol etc. i want to know only that what occupation can create my BP problem what is written above by me.
My father has tension behind his neck and has had it for about 3 to 4 days straight now, my mother says he might have high blood pressure and my father says he just probably needs to eat. It all started when he had i think…half a hamburger or something to eat the whole day a few days ago, hes been eating pretty fairly i mean he doesn’t starve himself or anything like that but anyways were pretty curious any suggestions to what he might have and possibly any cures?
I haven’t heard of any disease being cured lately. In fact I can’t see what incentive the drug companies have to find a cure. In fact they seem to be inventing diseases to sale more drugs.
The side effects on drugs seem worse then what they are treating. I lost my sense of smell to a high blood pressure drug.
The DEA approves these drugs even though they kill and injure millions of people ever year.
What have the drug companies done to earn the right to be the only ones able to provide solutions to our health care problem?
ive have very high blood pressure, diabetes and liver problems, i have to take alot of tablets so i feel sick all the time . has anybody got a cure for nausea please??
My dad now has a heart condition and he’s taking medicine for it. I know that it’s only a matter of time before I start developing it, too. luckily I found out that the tree in my front yard produces a fruit that can cure high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Only problem, I have to dry the fruit first to extract the medicine properly, and I don’t know how to do that without buying a dehydrator or food drier. Any tips?
A few years ago I started taking a ‘triple stack’ – ephedrine, aspirin, and caffeine – before working out to boost my energy, and it seemed to work very well (the old versions of Metabolife and Hydroxycut had a similar formula).
Suffering from moderate depression, I also found that when I take this combination, it really made me feel much better! I have a definite change in feeling throughout the day and able to have a somewhat normal outlook on things when I take this combination. Not only is my energy level up, but I have much more positive thoughts and generally feel much better.
I am not taking any antidepressants, but I do take this combination several times a week to get me through the day. Is this safe? Better or worse than taking a prescribed antidepressant? Any long-term dangerous effects? I do not have high blood pressure or any other health problems.
Advice?
I saw part of an infomercial with Trudeau. He claims that he knows natural remedies for many illnesses, from depression to cancer, which he has apparently listed in one of his books. But can this man be trusted?
I have high blood pressure, for example, among other things. I went to look at the natural remedy in one of his books, and it said things such as the following:
1. Raw extra virgin coconut oil
2. Flax and flax seed oil
3. Vitamin E
4. Natural sunlight
And so forth.
Is this a bunch of baloney, or is it accurate? How can I know that this man can be trusted?
Has anyone read his books, or does anyone have hardcore, factual information about his claims?
I’ve heard of apple cider vinegar but I’m not sure about it. My pastor told me that if I put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and drink it everyday. It will burn excess fat away and it’s also good for lowering high blood pressure. But I don’t like the taste of vinegar, is there another natural quick way to burn excess abdominal fat. Please help me.
A friend of mine was told he has Moderate to High levels of Protein in his urine. He went in to the doctor specifically because of the symptom of "Foamy Urine".
He is in generally good health.

✖ He is overweight but not obese.
✖ He has high blood-pressure that is 95% under control.
His doctor gave him a short term prescription for an additional blood pressure medication because it was high when he went in a few days ago and then told him that he would see him in a month to check his symptoms again and do some more blood work.
✖ He has no history of unprotected sex with unknown partners.
He has only had 1 sexual partner in the last few years and that was my aunt that contracted Hepatitis A or B from a blood transfusion back in the late 1990’s.
✖ He has never done any drugs… I don’t think he has even tried Marijuana.
✖ He doesn’t drink alcohol, well, he has about 2 beers or glasses of wine a year.
✖ He has anxiety and depression that he refuses to get treated.
✖ He eats out a lot and knows he eats too much meat.
✖ The doctor ruled out diabetes.

My friend is FREAKING OUT thinking that he has, like, renal failure and I’m trying to get some hard data on Proteinuria.
From what I’ve read, the causes can be anything from just eating too much meat combined with the heat wave all the way to ‘You have AIDS’.
He has been under a lot of stress in general due to his high pressure job and family concerns like paying for college for his two girls, alimony, house payments, the IRS, etc. He has rather severe depression and anxiety but refuses to get that treated because… Well… Because he is male and therefore kinda’ retarded.
The heat has been HORRIBLE for the last week or two and that has hit him hard.
His doctor is a really good doctor (My father goes to him as well) and I keep telling him that if his doctor thought he was about to die from renal failure or a kidney tumor etc. he wouldn’t have been sent home with 30 days worth of extra pills and an appointment for a month from now.
I know I’m going on but I want you to know everything because my friend is REALLY worried and that caused him to not sleep last night and have anxiety today…
ANY advice for him would be greatly appreciated.
When I went to a ‘doc in a box’ at a grocery store due to a persistent cough, my blood pressure they said was very high, and they wanted me to go in for a check-up with a regular doctor.
But, I can’t convince myself to go, despite some family history of high blood pressure. Basically, I know what the doctor will say already – change your diet, lose weight, reduce stress, all of which I already know and have always failed to fix. And, he will want to sell me expensive medicine. So, I can’t get myself to go, why bother when you know the answer, but can’t live up to the cure, emotionally or financially? Maybe I die earlier than I need to, but that doesn’t bother me, I look at how old people live and don’t see anything I envy. What am I missing here?
My brother suffers from high blood pressure. He refuses to go to the doctor. I know eventually someone’s gonna have to drag him to the clinic. Until then, what is a really good home remedy for high blood pressure?
Someone once told me that anxiety-induced high blood pressure (BP), such as that which is commonly associated with White Coat Hypertension, cannot be lowered with BP medicine. Does anyone know if this is true? Is the mechanism by which high BP is induced by anxiety that strong to indicate BP medicine cannot resolve/lower it? And if that’s the case, then can one make the argument that one needs anti-anxiety medicine rather than high BP medicine to cure an anxiety-induced high BP issue?
Has anyone with high anxiety-induced high BP ever been treated with BP medicine alone?
Thanks for any responses.
My baby is 11 weeks old. Born 4 weeks before due date because of high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia. My baby often seems hungry still and cries after nursing. When I try to pump breast milk, I only get anywhere from 2-3 ounces. I am making sure to get plenty of rest, drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet to help produce milk. I’m afraid my baby isn’t getting enough from me and have been supplementing with formula. Should I give up on breast feeding and switch completely to formula? Is there anything else I can do to increase breast milk? I also pump after nursing to help increase stimulation.
Does anyone have suggestions for homeopathic rememdies for high blood pressure? (160/104 with conventional meds) If you have and have had success, what did you use? Thanks.
What natural/traditional remedies do you know and use that work?
me- ginger for colds
basil and garlic for high blood pressure
dock leaves for skin irritations
cloves for mouth ulcers and toothache
rooibos and buchu for flu.
Any others….?
What is Congee?
I have really high blood pressure.. when I was put on medication it was consistantly around 170/120. I’m 20 years old.. so my doctor thinks it’s strange.. he wanted me to get blood work done but since I have to fast I haven’t found the time to go yet so I haven’t gone back to my doctor and the medication he prescribed for me to use in the mean time finished a couple days ago.. does anyone know of any home remedies that I could use in the meantime until I see my doctor (probably next week)
I’ve had high blood pressure since I was 13 …No reason why, just labeled it as hypertension.. Well about 3 months ago I started going to the chiropractor for dizziness (heaven sent.. almost completely cured the dizziness) …. I decided to check my blood pressure & yesterday it was 88/69 … I was very surprised because it’s usually 150/80 or 90 later in the day… Could this chiropractic care be reducing my blood pressure?
I’ve been checking it regularly … it’s ranged from 88/69 – 130/83. 130/85 was right before I went to bed right before I usually take my medicine. So when I got up I checked it again it was 122/87 but yet when i just checked it .. 3 hours later it is 89/77.
5 month ago after my first c section i got high blood pressure it was 160/100, 2nd day after c section the hospital internist prescribed me with ALDOMET, DOPAMET, ADALAT AND "TENORMIN’, i weaned off aldomet and dopamet at first week postpartum, and tenormin at 2nd week postpartum, and adalat at thrid week postpartum. I recently have some blood test, my fasting blood sugar was 100, and tested again usually around 87 to 98. Postprandial ussually around 120 two hour after meal, but i had it once spike to 179at 90 minutes after meal. am i a prediabetic? is tenormin to be blamed? i was never diagnose with gestational diabetes, and before pregnancy, i was very healthy with FBG under 85 and no family history of diabetes.. and when i was taking tenormin, i nursed my baby mix with formula milk, can this harm my newborn too? very curious, and shock when i read an article said tenormin or beta blocker cause diabetes
Hi, I just lost 80lbs with eating healthy and exercising. I was taking hydrochlorothiazide and lisinopril for high blood pressure and just went off both meds a week ago b/c I wanted to see if I cured myself. Well, my blood pressure is good!
but I’ve gained 7lbs in one week!! Is that normal? Is it just water? And if it is, will it go away eventually?
my BP was 117/71 this morning. yesterday it was 115/82
My husband recently visited an allergist and discovered he is very allergic to dust mites and outdoor weeds. He received a sample of Nasacort and used it all up; it didn’t totally cure his symptoms but definitely improved them a bit. When we took his prescription in to Walgreen’s to have it filled, it was nearly after our insurance discount – not in our budget. My husband has high blood pressure and controls it with medication; that being said, can anyone recommend something that may be effective for his allergies that we can purchase over the counter? Thank you for your time.
Just wondering if it is any good and if the stuff in there works? looking for cures on high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, depression, high colesterol? please let me know or post some of the cures for these adn i will be gratefull.
Thank you

Well for the past 2/3months I’ve noticed a change in my eyes, a slight blurriness in both eyes…
I went to my doctor, he did all the exams possible to determine if i had anything bad going on with me, but he told me i was fine..
he just told me that my blood pressure is considered high…
i decided to go to an ophtalmologist and she told me my vision was perfect 20/20…
I asked her "then why am i seeing things like that?"
and she told me… "when ure about to get diabetes ur eye sight may be affected"
ive been tested for diabetes and thank God i dont have it.
COULD THIS ON MY EYES BE RELATED WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE????
IS THERE SOMETHING LIKE A "CURE" FOR THIS???
I’M DAMN WORRIED..
I WILL APPRECIATE ALL THE HONEST ANSWERS, thanks All…***
This is for a male,48.
Highly Diabetic with High Blood Pressure.
Thank you in advance.
Here’s a little background info that you’d need to answer my question… before you comment, make sure you read all of this and don’t skip over any details, because I don’t feel like dealing with people who don’t take the time to truly "listen"… I’M ONLY LOOKING FOR HELP AND ADVICE FROM PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABOUT TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE. ALL OTHER ANSWERS WILL BE IGNORED OR GIVEN A POOR RATING.
For a while now I’ve been under extreme psychological stress and depression– the significant stress, "ungroundedness", and instability of my life (which I have little control over) has triggered my depressive tendencies. There’s lots more to tell here… I have a disposition to become depressed due to the environment that I was raised in and the genetic dispositions that I inherited and were nutured within me. I have lots of threatening financial stressors, debts, and home stressors. Furthermore, I come from a very ungrounded background where my parents were very very unstable, inconsistent with their nurturing and emotional states, unpredictable, angry and hormonal/unbalanced mother, emotionally repressed and unavailable father, emotional abuse, my self-esteem was ripped away from me. If it wasn’t for many years of counseling I would have a horrible self-esteem right now– I am still in counseling. My mom had a heart attack at 45 and has diabetes, my dad is hypothyroid and pre-diabetes (my parent’s diabetes is mainly due to their extremely poor diet and lack of exercise). So for years with this upbringing my disposition when under stress has been: depression/irritability, high blood pressure (I’m only 22), feelings of loneliness/emptiness, trouble thinking straight, mild digestive issues (gas/loose stools), trouble getting to sleep, apathy, tension in my shoulders/jaws. Furthermore I even smoked weed for a while and ignorantly took too many yang tonics for over a year and a half like Chinese/korean ginseng, suma, maca, rhodiola, ginger, etc which drained my yin, I have a significantly diminished sense of reality and sense of self. The dreamlike feeling is a very defunct and unsettling feeling. All this has led me to learn more about my condition… I’ve read much literature on ayurvedic medicine, chiropractic medicine, general naturopathic medicine, homeopathic medicine, and last but not least TCM or traditional Chinese medicine; TCM and Chiropractic being most effective so far after having myriads of acupuncture treatments in the past and Chiropractic adjustments on my neck, shoulder, pelvis, back, and hips.
So lately, I’ve gotten more educated on TCM. I’ve found that my body is very drained of yin (in a general sense). My life style and it’s stressors (which I have little control over) drains my yin and results in a rising yang. To support my yin, I have been taking Rehmannia 6 formula. I’ve added to this formula fresh dried goji and schisandra berries with almonds, as well as small amounts of peppermint, lemon balm, and nettle (in capsule form)—this formula is to tonify my liver yin and kidney (jing/yin) as well and to soothe my digestive system. On top of this formula I am eating more yin foods, eating less heavy meats and dairy, and eating a few more sweeter (healthy) foods that will tonify my spleen– I have had some issues with digestion, loose stools, and gas. Likewise to try to better deal with things, I’m getting psychotherapy and am doing light cardio exercise.
The good news here as a result of these dietary/herbal changes is I have already seen: a significant improvement in my levels of irritability and patience; heart rate is 5-6 bpm’s slower; my sex drive is slowly getting back to what it was when I was in highschool (I’m 22 now fyi), my eyes focus better; my tinnitus has lessened (ringing in the ears is something I’ve had all my life); less gas, my physical energy is “cleaner”; my sleep has deepened; I feel more tired in the evenings and get to bed between 8 and 11pm as opposed to before when I wouldn’t feel tired at night and couldn’t really get to sleep until like 5 or 6am… so good improvements here from just taking these herbs and making other dietary changes. I have TCM to thank for these changes that have happened so far. Note: I’m NOT doing acupuncture, qi gong, yoga, or massage because I CANNOT afford these things unfortunately– Right now, all I can afford is herbs (everything else except occasional Chiropractic adjustments is out of my budget). I’m doing what I can while trying to be as smart and educated as possible in my decisions.
What am I getting at here? While there have been some significant improvements in the areas that I mentioned above, my problem is that I haven’t seen an improvement in my mental energy, joy, sense of reality, enthusiasm, zeal, etc (and I still don’t know enough about TCM theory to make the right changes). I don’t feel like taking any uneducated risks without help from people who are educated on this stuff…
My hypothesis is that I’d see an init
My hypothesis is that I’d see an initial change about a week after taking this Rehmannia 6 enhanced formula (which did happen—I don’t think it’s a placebo effect either) BUT wouldn’t see any impact from it on my mood and emotional energy for at least a few months into taking it as it would take a while for my deeper sleep to restore my emotional energy (joy/zeal/enthusiasm) in addition to replenishing my stores of jing and my yin—at least for my specific case.
Is my hypothesis correct that… my deeper sleep and taking the liver/kidney yin formula would slowly build my emotional energy, joy, sense of reality, enthusiasm, etc? OR do I need to consider adding additional herbs for this?
btw, if you read this I greatly appreciate it…
Hi all! I am a breastfeeding, co-sleeping Mommy to a beautiful 14 month old baby boy. I have NO intention of weaning any time soon… As a matter of fact, I am going to allow my son to self wean. I am on a TON of medicines for high blood pressure (4 to be exact) and, I have to take an occasional medicine for pain as I was in a truly terrible car wreck and have 2 very messed up vertebrae in my back. Keep in mind that I do not over take anything and all of the medicines are approved in Dr. Hale’s book Medicine and Mothers Milk. I can’t tell you how many times I have been told that I should quit breastfeeding by some really ignorant people b/c of my high blood pressure issues. This group of morons even includes 3 doctors that I have been through (and fired).
Anyway, my neighbor was over the other day, I was feeding my little love bug and she made the following comment….
WOW, I CAN’T BELIEVE that you are still breastfeeding him! I breastfed my daughter for 6 months and switched to formula. So, I said: Why can’t you believe it? And she has the nerve to say: Because with all of the medicine that you are taking you are being very irresponsible. You are doing him more harm then good. Besides that, he’s too big and does not need it. So, of course I figured that it was her own guilt of giving her kid formula or whatever and politely said: You are wrong, it still does him a lot of good. I thought that was the end of it.
2 days later (the day before Christmas Eve), Social Services came to my home. CPS! And said they had an anonymous report that I was taking drugs and breastfeeding my son! I could not believe it! I showed them everything I was taking! To make a long story short, they apologized and left. 5 minutes later she came over asking what the police were doing at my house! She is totally acting like she had nothing to do with it! I asked her if she called and she said of course not. The thing is that there were no police at my house…. Just CPS and how the heck would she know that if she did not call? She lives behind me! I’m just so pissed right now! I would NEVER do anything to hurt my baby. If she thought I was such a bad person then why would she have me babysit her baby?
How the heck would you guys deal with this? I have been avoiding her and never want to talk to her again! If she thought that there was an issue and she is my friend, why not talk to me? What would you do? Am I wrong to be furious?
BLAIR and all else whom think it’s a bad idea to take medicine while breastfeeding. GET EDUCATED!!!! The only medicine that passes to the baby is medicine that attatches to your protien in your blood. Even if I were taking those kind of medicines, the baby would only recieve approx .001% of medicines which are considered SAFE. It is MUCH MORE DANGEROUS TO FEED MY CHILD FORMULA! Most doctors are UNEDUCATED when it comes to lactation/breastfeeding. Next time you go to your doctor ask how much education he went through for it. I checked not only with a Lactation Consultant, but also had my DOCTOR that admitted he was not educated check with Dr. Thomas Hale who is only the BEST pediatric pharmacologist on Earth. I did my research people! Now, do yours before you go to thinking that FORMULA is safer then breastfeeding while on medicine that is SAFE for breastfeeding.
OK… For those of you all that say I should have listened to the 3 doctors that told me not to breastfeed due to my high blood pressure. The first told me that it was PAIN related and that I should take MORPHINE regularly and that would bring my BP down. The second stated that my high blood pressures were DUE to breastfeeding… When I asked for PROOF of this, he could provide NONE. He himself admitted it was just a guess. The third wanted to prescribe medicine that WAS NOT safe for b/f’ding without even doing any research to find some that is safe. My doctor now and myself have spent hours upon hours becoming EDUCATED. I now see why she called CPS… The ignorance that some of you people have mirrors her own. I am not doing something because "some book" says that I can! I am giving my baby the BEST start in life possible, SAFELY, because I CAN!
As for taking medicines in combination, yes, they are safe too. AGAIN, I’VE DONE MY RESEARCH. AND YES, FORMULA IS THE DEVIL! IT IS POISON. For the person who said I’m a selfish mom for breastfeeding… All I can do is laugh at you! THANKS FOR CRACKING ME UP! I truly needed a laugh tonight!:-)! HEHEHE!
Hi, I just lost 80lbs with eating healthy and exercising. I was taking hydrochlorothiazide and lisinopril for high blood pressure and just went off both meds a week ago b/c I wanted to see if I cured myself. Well, my blood pressure is good!

I’m a pretty heathy person. I’m going to be 19 in 2 days,Average weight,No hypertension that i know of runs through my family.
I have anxiety problems though. Lately my stress level has been really bad. I’m not gonna take up time and write about what has been going on,but i have had it pretty rough lately. Well yesterday a friend of mine came over. He shares with me the same problems with his family over and over. I keep giving him advice and he doesn’t listen,so i told him i’m sick of hearing his stuff when he won’t doing anything about it and how it has been stressing me out. Previously i had drank some tea called Yerba Mate. It’s like green tea but a little different. It has alot of caffeine in it,at the time i didn’t know this would mess with my stress.
I felt really sick all of the sudden,i thought i was gonna barf. At this time i was still talking to my friend. I got up to go to the kitchen,i lend in the sink and i felt so dizzy i couldn’t even Stand up right,I couldn’t see, everything seemed super blurry and my hearing sounded all fuzzy when my mom was trying to ask if i’m okay. I couldn’t talk,i fainted on the floor. I ended u regaining consciousness and my mom called the ambulance,i couldn’t breathe right and i could feel my heart beating really fast,my hands and feet started to curl up and my wholebody went numb. They took me to the ER and said my blood pressure was 165 over 104
Which in turn was high blood pressure. The doc said it sounded like i was having a panic attack, but it just came in the middle of no where! I know i have been stressed, but i felt fine. What can i do to prevent stress and panic attacks?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!
Forgot to add,i don’t rly like taking meds,is there any herbal things you know of i can take or some remedies you know of at all? Let me know.
Thanks ![]()
my bf was showing these high blood pressure symptoms late in the evening……i know he was stressed……..any home demedies to keep him on the track?
I am 74 years old and had bypass surgery about 12 years ago. Nevertheless I am in pretty good shape. I keep very active, going a lot of gardening and having the dog take me for a long walk every day. I can even keep up with my young wife! The only medical problem that I have had for many years is high blood pressure. A couple of months ago someone recommended that I try DCPC compound hypotensive tablets from Beijing.( reserpine, chlordiazepoxide, hydrochlorothiazide, dihydralazine sulfate, triamterene) They appeared to work OK and I had no side effects. Then, a couple of days ago everything went downhill. My wife and I were at a kid’s outdoor exercise display. The sun was very hot and, after about an hour I began to feel a little weak and had to sit down. I decided to go home and felt progressively worse. My temperature was 39C, pulse about 75 and blood pressure 175/110. I also had diarrhea. I took DEXA amiodpine and atenolol and after about 2 hours my temperature and pulse were normal and pressure was 130/80. That night I had trouble sleeping. I had been working with a computer program formula and this was somehow fixed in my mind and every time I tried to think about something else my thoughts kept coming back to this stupid formula. Here in Indonesia it is always hot and I am used to the UK cold. Thus I always use a fan. For about 2 hours I got the chills and ended up covered with a thick blanket. My appetite was zero and so was my energy. The next morning I felt fine and all the symptoms except the diarrhea had disappeared. I now feel fine but really need to know what brought this on.
After a couple of days I was fine and just would like to know what brought it on. I think it was side effects from the Chinese med
well i have pcos i have the acne and hair on my chin my period is not to irregular just comes a few days late or early every month, not to bad. But the doctor wants to give me birth control pills now i have taken those before and they worked well, but now that my insurance will only let me get generics and they do not seem to work the same. Now i have heard about the benefits of taking the pill but i have also been hearing that htey can cause heart problems and strokes my father died of heart problems and also had a stroke and high blood pressure, my blood pressure only goes high occasionaly it is not high all the time. So my question is do i take the birth control pills and the meds for high blood pressure even though i hate medicine and prefer naturla cures. Also let me say that my blood pressure has been really good for the past 4 months and i have been off the meds. i got one higher reading and they want me back on meds. ok thanks for any tips and info you can give me, ALSo i have heard that garlic pills is good for blood pressure is that true guess i should also mention i am overweight and it is very hard for me to lose weight
I heard that high blood pressure can be controlled, but it could never be cured. I have high blood pressure, so does this mean that I’m always gonna live with possible health problems?? Oh, and I heard that high blood pressure can cause a stroke, heart failure, heart attack, and kidney failure. If you have high blood pressure, is it 100% for sure that you’ll end up having health problems?? Or does high blood pressure only put you at risk for health problems??
My mom has essential high blood pressure sometimes reaching over the 200/160 mark. As her blood pressure has been high for a while she has an enlarged right ventricle which will and is leading to CHF. Her breathing is already heavy. Her doctor has given her Betaloc, Plendil, Inhibace, Dosan, Cartia a blood thinner, Lipex for high cholesterol and Quinine for night cramps. She’s in her early 70’s and she complains of head aches, extreme fatigue and loss of energy. She has increasing dark circles around her eyes as if she hasn’t slept in months with shortness of breath like she’s gasping for air. I would like her to try natural remedies because these synthetic drugs don’t appear to be doing much for her overall health. Can anyone advise some really good and effective natural remedies to treat both high blood pressure and CHF? I know Celery is good for lowering blood pressure.
When I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, the doctor could not tell me why I developed it. I am in great shape, exercise every other day, I don’t smoke or drink. I have a very good diet and have never been big on salt, yet I developed it anyway. I am on medication which is not currently working, I don’t know what the problem is.
My mom is 46 years old and her doc. said that she has high blood pressure. He wants to put her on bp pills, but who wants to take pills the rest of their lives!? She’s revised her free lance diet and is watching what she eats. Anyone have pratical natural cures to lower blood pressure that has been proven to work or worked for you or someone you know?
My girl-friend has high blood pressure and suffers chronic headaches, she has had pills but it causes her blood pressure to fluctuate too much…Is there anything we can do to help her, perhaps a diet or something?
I was breastfeeding my son when I was hospitilized for my high blood pressure. They told me that I couldnt breastfeed him because of the medicine that I was taking so I had to "pump and dump" as they called it. I did this for two days until my nurse for the night whom also happened to be a lactation consultant told me that it was okay to breastfeed while taking the magnesium sulfate. But by then the damage was done. My son was hooked on formula and wasnt latching onto my breast anymore. I really miss the connection and I know that breast is best but my supply has completely dwindled. Is there anyway that you can "restimulate" your breasts to make milk again?
Is there any natural ways ot cure high blood pressure
I have high blood pressure, and the medicine makes me sick, so im looking for some herbs that might do the trick, anything?
i dont have preeclampsia or nothing i just have high blood pressure. i need home remedies. i am 7 months pregnant
thank you very muchh! =]
what can I do if I have high blood pressure and I am dying?
Was it the manna that the Jews lived off in the desert? Can you cure AIDS with it? Is that how Magic Johnson looks better than most non HIV positive men, does he drink breastmilkshakes daily? Can I drink it and will it cure my hypertension, and if so, will anyone here ship me some? My mom breastfed me for a year and I still wound up with high blood pressure as an adult, I still had chronic sinusitis as a child, I still suffered from ear infections, I still got strep throat as a baby girl, I still had ringworm as a kid, I still caught measels, I still got colds every winter, I kept a snotty nose up to about age 3, and I’m allergic to cut grass and pollen.
How did my formula fed cousins and brother escape these maladies? So, am I the golden child something, because I was breastfed for a year? Is my mom better than my aunt, even though her formula fed girls BOTH have masters degrees, and I only have an associates degree? They also beat me in chess all the time at the family reunion.
Thanks Dixie chick. That was most pleasant to know. Have a great day.
I also beleive the appropriate term is ‘developmentally challenged’, not "retarded", which comes from the French word, ‘retard’, which means to slow or halt.
liljen, that had me on the floor. LOL!!!! Ha ha ha!!
me and b- LOL!! Cool, man. I’m off to find some breastmilk and some alka-seltzer!! Ha ha ha ha!! I’m sure my doctor will be amazed to see my blood pressure at 90/60 at my next appointment. Thanks brother.
I have asthma/allergies and anemia. I also have blood pressure that was 145/95 in November. I have been using Proventil for a few months for my asthma, but I generally only use it once every few days. When I was told about my high blood pressure in November, the doc said she wanted to wait a month before she decided to put me on medication for it. I then started taking garlic, fish oil, and about that time I started using a Neti pot. When I went back to the doctor, (a month later) my blood pressure was 142/86. I feel that either one or all of the things that I did that I previously mentioned contributed to this significantly lower bottom number. What do you guys think? The doc still decided to put me on atenolol and iron pills, but I am wondering if it can help more than these natural remedies already are.
I do not have high cholesterol or any thyroid issues. I do have a fast heartbeat (about 100 times per minute) The doc thinks that my fast heartbeat is directly related to the anemia.
Phoenix ~ I already said that I was taking garlic. If you read the ENTIRE question, you would have known that ![]()
VRG ~ The salt thing is a great point. I never "add" salt to anything, but there is tons of salt in processed foods, so I am trying to eat less of those types food.
I also started taking hawthorne, too, when I started the Atenolol.
Calculating the distance between Beer & Pizza in refrigerator to the Couch and gaining 5 -10 lbs in one week?subtract sports regular (sex)-cardio exercise, daily situps and push, divide that by having no social live..being bored and lonely…low income…will positively result in obesisty and high blood pressure..final answer!
For the past two years, I have been on two medications to help lower my hypertension. Yet for almost a year, I have not been taking my medication. Reason is well, the co-pay builds up everytime I go in for a refill and its sort of hard when you are trying to save money for the future and pay for a medicine co-pay. Question: does anyone have any suggestions that may lower my high blood pressure minus the medications?
The ones you find to be tried and true:
Such as potassium in bananas for high blood pressure for example or steamed broccoli for the calcium. One resource I read claimed that it may not be just high sodium intake but also a mineral deficiency such as potassium and calcium causing or something that can help lower it.
Here’s another resource. http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/remedy/High-Blood-Pressure.html
Any other successful natural pain and hypertension reducers that you know of?
I’ve been taking Nordic Naturals Complete Omega 3 6 9 (fish oil pills) this week and i want to add One-A-Day Men’s Health Formula. Is this safe? Can i take both of them at the same time or should i take them separately like one during lunch and the other during dinner? I know I should just eat a proper meal but i hate to eat certain food. I also have high blood pressure but my pressure has been back to normal in recent years
oh and can i just stop taking both like cold turkey? or should i gradually slow it down and then none at all. ( in case i want to )
will stem cell research cure high blood pressure, diabetes, & high clolesterol for good?
My father-in-law has ancestral high blood pressure. Also his heart is not healthy, so sometimes it affects the blood pressure to get higher either. Now when something happens or if his blood pressure gets higher he has to take really powerful medicine, which is not good for his other bodies. Even sometimes when his blood pressure gets higher he gets really close to the stroke. I could feel that. So my question is "Is it possible to cure ancestral high blood pressure, also high blood pressure that caused by heart abnormality?"
i want to know what are some home remedies to get rid of high blood pressure FAST!

Does anybody know any good home rememdies for High Blood Pressure?
I can not afford to go to the doctor right now. So is there any at home I can take? for my High Blood Pressure?
When my nephew was born he hardly cried and was lacking color. It didnt seem right but the doctor said it was fine. We’ve noticed that he breathes very hard and uneven from his belly most of the time. Also, he hardly ever wants to drink more than 2 oz. of formula at a time. Finally my sister took him to see his doctor and he has high blood pressure that is different in each arm and leg.
Also during birth, he became irritated and my sister had to stop pushing for a while. The nurse said he might have had the cord wrapped around his neck for a while. Could this have anything to do with his poor blood pressure?
What could be wrong with my precious nephew?
Besides aspirin, do you know of any herbs or anything else I can use to keep my blood pressure lower? I don’t have a high blood pressure problem, but when I’m nervous my heart starts pounding to a ridiculous extent. So I’d appreciate any recommendations
Thank you for your help.
A dear friend has uncontrolled high blood pressure. He’s 28, and we don’t want to lose him! He’s taking traditional meds, exercizing and dieting, but nothing works. I’ve heard that curry tea lowers blood pressure. Do you know of a natural remedy we can give him to help his medications work better?
i have high blood pressure and no doctor to help me with this potential health risk. I’m currently on mediaction but I am nursing my baby. I am on Labatoral at the moment. But my prescription is about to run out. I need to find someone who can help me or offer low cost doctor visits in the Bend OR area. Were in the process of trying to get medical insurance. But, I don’t have a current doctor. What can I do?
I just need to know the very best home remedies to lower high blood pressure.
my mother has high blood pressure and it got real high last night at 170/105. my question is are there any natural remedies that may help lower her blood pressure so she can wing off medication besides exercising and healthy eating? i know that’s the reason why it’s high in the first place, but is there anything specific that may help?
Hi guys please let me know what are the general method to treat high blood pressure?
I went to a local minor-emergency clinic (not my primary physician who normally handles my blood pressure treatment–it was in the evening and I was feeling really crummy) last night for a bad cold that I had for about a week, started out like a sinus/allergy thing but the last few days turned into a sneezing and coughing up yellow mucus type of event, so I went for an exam and they said I had a case of bronchitis.
Was prescribed albuterol inhaler for the bronchitis, but now I read on the internet that maybe sometimes it’s not best to take these two drugs together? Atenolol is for high blood pressure in my case. I gave my list of medications to the doctor I saw last night, any chance they could have overlooked that? Or is it common and effective to take these two drugs together?
I need to be treated for high blood pressure..So where can i go for help
What sphygmomanometer reading indicates that an individual has high blood pressure?
Treatment for hypertensio?
The condition stems from many years of high blood pressure. I am 55 and hope this doesn’t lead to dialisys.
What can be used to treat hemorrhoids when you can’t use preparation H because of high blood pressure, etc.?
My cat, the love of my life, is not doing well and I have to make the horrible decision of whether to put her down or not.
She’s old. Her age is unknown (adopted 2 yrs ago) but it’s estimated to be around 14. She has kidney failure and has been receiving treatment for about 9 months. The kidneys are really bad and the treatment has not “fixed” it but it has been effective in the sense that kidneys have been stable.
Problem: about two weeks ago, her right eye started getting bloody. The doctors said it’s due to high blood pressure. After all the treatments, the eye got worse and now my poor baby has developed glaucoma. The blood pressure came down a little but it’s still high.
Decision
Option 1: Removing the eye: given her physical condition, her chances of surviving the surgery/recovery are 50/50 %.
Her vet said she may have about six months to live after the surgery.
Option 2: Putting her to sleep.
I cant decide. Please help, SOON.
What makes it hard for me is that she’s still eating and enjoys her tummy rubs and purrs when I hug her. If she was in a lot of pain she would stop eating and go hide is some corner….I keep asking what if she were to live another year or more if I do the surgery? Kindney failure is actually not painful; it’s more like a silent killer. It’s just the surgery may have complications. But it may not. I just don’t know what to do.
I have got 4 opinions. Glaucoma in cats is not treatable like it is in humans especially when the cat is already blind (mine was blind when I adopted her). The eye has to come out because it’s pain if it doesn’t. So it’s either risk the surgery or let her go.
My problems is that I do know if SHE is ready to leave. I’m willing to do whatever she wants only if she could talk and tell me. I would never keep her alive if she is suffering and I know she would tell me if she was ready to go. I don’t she’s ready to go yet because she’s eating, purring, using her litter box…it’s just that the outcome of surgery may not be good.
Oops, I meant "my problem is that I DON’T know if she is ready to leave"…
First of all I NEVER go to the doctor but I get a routine physical each year. Last December 4th I had been sick for 2 weeks with a bad cough and bronchitis-like symptoms. I finally was told go to doctor by my concerned employer because they felt there might be MOLD in our office. I went that very day to my DR. of two years and he did chest xray and prescribed antibiotic. That treatment worked and I also found there was no MOLD. More than a week later the DR. contacted me to come in for treatment of high blood pressure recorded during the Dec 4 visit. By the time I was called I was recovered and did not have high BP and declined to see the DR. for this again. He wrote on Feb. 18th he had discharged me as his patient due to ‘non-compliance’. I ask you, why did he not treat the high blood pressure the moment I was in distress???? And why dismiss me now, as I do NOT have High BP.
I ran out of room on the first detail. To answer the question I know I do NOT have HP because my husband does and we both monitor our BP. I do it with a separate cuff to encourage him. That is coincidental to my situation too and I wanted to add it. My husband’s BP is 100% under control through medication due to his work, which like my employer require yearly physical. Thanks.
As I said, this DR. did not even address my BP at time of visit. Where was the concern then? I was taking 3 different OTC medicatations: Dayquil, Nyquil, Robitussin by the time I was seen and those were making me sick at my stomach and I coudnt take it anymore. Thanks.
Marco, you are so right. And this non-compliance issue is my concern too. Will I be able to find another physician? This whole situation is crazy. I mean I didn’t accuse him of anything or ask questions until the ‘non-compliance’ issue came up. I didn’t even know what non-compliance was and had to ask. Thanks.
Mom, I declined the offer to return is what happened and it was over the phone where the nurse called me later. I guess I should have gone, in hindsight, and would have if I reazlied he could dismiss me. It all seems very unfortunate. Thanks.
My mom had caught with "Cirrhosis of the Liver" back in 2000. It got diagnosed in 2002 when she started feeling tired, no appetite, swollen feet, blue marks on skin and abdominal pain. Doctors also told us that she has "Hepatitis C". We started her treatment with "Roferon 3mu". After six months she got better. We found last year that her "Cirrhosis of the Liver" problem is again disturbing her health. We took her for blood test but there were no detections of "Hepatitis" anymore. Doctor told us that her liver is damaged and it is in the "De-compensated Stage". It can not be reversed but it can be stopped to go further. Now she has swollen feet again, watter in abdomen, blue marks on lower legs, itching skin, minor fever, a little high blood pressure but she is not a Diabetic. Her last test results were these. (i called her home to get these readings. if you find any trouble you can e-mail for this.)

I have gout and high blood pressure. I take Diova 160/25 and Norvasec for BP and Alopurinol for gout. I get swelling in the legs. My doctors can’t fix this problem. When they change the drugs or doze my blood pressure goes up and I get gout attack….anyone out there who has my problem?
I am suffering from high blood sugar and hypertension. My 2 doctors gave me their prescriptions. For high blood sugar, metformin and for high blood pressure, Filodepine with metoprolol. Reading the inserts in both, i discovered that one is not to be taken with the other. I am confused and sometimes refuse to drink both at the same time. Please advise.
I have had amenorrhea(lack of period) for about a year and a half. I have read that HGH (human growth hormone) treatments can help with a wide variety of health issues ie. high blood pressure, bone density, menstrual cycles, hair skin and nails. I was wondering if anyone new a little more first hand about the possibility of using HGH as a treatment.

If you have been on this medication for treatment of high blood pressure, how long will the medication stay in your system if you stop taking it?
I am patient of high blood pressure for the last 22 years and now it has been observed that i have cyst in my left kidney..I shall thank , if someone can suggest the remedy either nature cure or ayurvedic or homeopath and suggest good diet to keep kidneys healthy..I am pure veg no drink, no smoke.
I have an 18 yo cat. He has serious hyperthyroid, high blood pressure, arthritis, and his vision is bad. His kidneys are OK but on the downward slide, and his liver is iffy.
Every time I go to the vet they say, "Well, he’s not getting better. Let’s adjust his medications, and bring him back in 3 weeks–plus I’d like to add another medication." These visits and tests run me close to 0, and of course they never have a clue what the medications cost. I’ve been through this several times now.
Well, he’s not going to get "better"–he’s 18! What will all these adjustments really achieve, besides costing a fortune and denying me the chance to really deal psychologically with the fact that my cat is slowly dying. But they only write the prescriptions for a few weeks at a time, so I have to go back.
Can I/should I say I don’t want to do any more blood panels, and insist they just renew the prescriptions he’s on for some reasonable period like 6 months?
How can I say this? His quality of life is still OK, I just want to pick a medication level and stick with that until it’s time to put him down, and just monitor things like his weight to see how it’s working.
I didn’t say I wanted to put him down, I said his quality of life is OK now. But they’re talking long-term treatments on a cat who doesn’t have a long-term ahead. His numbers don’t have to be perfect if he’s not going to live long enough for it to matter.
A 70 year elderly male is not able to breathe properly and he is coughing and severe cold and he is not able to take his food properly and he is having high blood pressure but no sugar . Kindly advice what will be problem and what is the solution for this problem in detail. Is it a cause of worry or it is an ordinary problem which can be cured. The ECG is normal but at times it is erratic.
I know someone who is experiencing the following symptons: fainting, dizzyness, blurred vision. He fainted 3 times for the last 10 days. He can’t sleep well. He said when he fainted the first time, he felt everything shrink. He couldn’t see welll after the first time he fainted. It’s not because he’s got myopia cuz he doesnt! He’s constantly dizzy. He was diagonosed with high blood pressure several years ago. Anyways I wonder how long it takes the Warden to approve and is there something I can do to rush them.?Call the lawyer or what? because he needs help immediately and Im afraid his symptoms are gonna get worse!
please dont be judgemental and think "he’s got what he deserved." He’s in a low security jail.
He has requested to see medical help. He’s jus afraid the the staff has neglected his application
I also have high blood pressure and thyroid trouble. my sysmptoms are leg pain and daytime sleepiness. I had a sleep study done and was told that I have the Fibromyalgia. I am on meds for depression , highblood pressure and thyroid. I already take the zanaflex and ultracet and voltarin. Along with klopin wellbutrin synthroid and topral xl and a baby asprin. What else can be done? What type of dr should I go to to have this treated? Any help would be great.
I am 55 and have been under treatment for an erratic heartbeat since I was in my late 20’s. However, the treatment I’m presently receiving – 320 mg. of Inderal per day plus 1.5 mg of Xanax – is only partially effective. I am wondering if there might be a more effective treatment available to me. The condition doesn’t bother me much when I am resting or relaxed. Though it seems to be triggered mostly by my emotions, I have noticed that more and more it flares up under physical strain as well. I seriously doubt if I could endure a stress test simply because the fear of such a test would probably trigger an episode before they could even start it. I’ve never had any chest pains or any other symptoms of heart disease. I am also being treated for mildly high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol and an anxiety disorder. What bothers me most is the degree to which I am affected psychologically by all this. It puts a crimp in my lifestyle and keeps me from doing things that I might ……
otherwise do. Oh, and by "erratic heartbeat", I am not alking about a rapid or racing heart. I am talking about a condition where the heart seems yo lose its rythm and creates a sensation of having a butterfly lose inside my chest. Also, I would prefer that only qualified medical personnel answer this question. Thanks.
I gave birth 2 months ago and had high blood pressure and 1+ protein in urine past my 28th week.
The problem now is that the high blood pressure actually CAME BACK 2 weeks after birth (didn’t have before birth). I almost was admitted in the hospital but it went down to 140/90 and is staying near that even with the 2 meds im taking. One month ago my protein in my urine was "trace" and now it’s +1!!! I also have a urinary tract infectino that has been untreated for the past 3 months because of the baby and breastfeeding (whcih i now gave up)
My questions are :
1) is it my pressure causing this or the urinary infection ?
2) how concerned should i be?
3) is it reversable and what are the treatments?
and yes im going to teh doc on tuesday, just worried and don’t like waiting ![]()

I just looked it up since I got off the phone with my mom who has been managing her high blood pressure naturally for a couple of years. She said it really worked for her when she tried it. I’ve seen hbp questions here, and never run into a beet juice answer. I was wondering if others have tried it, or if it is still fairly new and just breaking into the high blood pressure treatment news? I’m glad she discovered it, but I’m wondering why I hadn’t heard about it before this.
My cousin recently told me that his mother at the age of 60, and unemployed, was turned down for health insurance some years back, because one of the first questions the agent she was applying with asked, "Do you have high blood pressure?" When she said yes, the agent said they could not cover her due to the condition. She was of course, not old enough for Medicare, so she was without medical insurance until she could get Medicare. That lack of health insurance ended up being the death of her, because she was not able to affordable treatment on her own and by the time she did have Medicare and a supplement, her serious condition had progressed to the critical stage. How sad. Her husband 65, was already drawing Medicare with AARP as a supplement. He was unable to continue paying the extremely high premiums of the company insurance he had at his job, once he retired. Anyone with a similiar situation, or know someone this has happened to?

am 46 , I am 153(I use to be 190) I am 6.2. I always had high blood pressure(since the age of 16) and it was always emotional high blood pressure. I started taking BP medication about 8 years ago. Now I am on 2 medications Coreg 12.5 per day & Benicar 40mg per day. I switched to a Fruitarian Rwafoodist diet and my readings got mucfh better. Last week my readings dropped to 100/62. At work I had an icident and the paramedics came. My doctor told me to stop both medications right away and resume when my BP is normal. Do I really need to resume? What are my options here? Thanks
It has been 4 days and my BP average 115/82(without meds).
I have been on my Fruitarian-Rawfoodist diet for about 1 year 1/2
I have no cardio problem except that I am emotional that’s why Coreg
In case my BP comes back to normal /bordeline range I was thinking going for hawthorn berries?
PS: I almost got into a cardio arrest because of those 2 meds at work. So plz telling me to talk to my doc first won’t improve things. My diet profile has totally changed as well as my weight . I use to be 190 when I started the treatment.

Okay so I’m 26 weeks pregnant when I went for my 20 week check up, I was 21 weeks and my blood pressure was high. This is my second pregnancy, with my first pregnancy 3.5 years ago I had twins and had blood pressure problems that later ended up with me being delivered due to pre-E but my blood pressure issue also started early on with them also. I was NEVER offered medication for blood pressure instead i was told to lay on my side if it went down all was okay if not then i was put on modified bed rest..
This pregnancy I have a different dr, my old drs sold their practice and this is the dr that took it over. When i went for my 21 week appointment, like i said my BP was high, she didnt retake it or anything and wrote me a script for blood pressure medication. I went home researched the medication and decided not to take it, i didnt feel that based on one reading of high blood pressure i needed to take it, i took my bp every few days at the store and it was normal most the time, i had a few high reading but on average it was really good.I then went last week and she asked if i was taking my medication, i told her no and she was really upset and said she wanted me to go to another dr so that it is documented that im refusing treatment.. I was actually offended by her actions and the fact that she didnt want to listen to me, I’m not completely opposed to medication if it is needed, i just didnt feel that based on ONE high reading i needed medication, i told her I would rather try some diet changes and other things first, and she responded that at my age that will not work at all. I’m 25.. why would it not work? I just find it odd that she never retook it to double check, instead wanted to give me medication without first talking about alternatives.. Like I said I will take it if i have to, im just not sure if i do.. After i had my twins i was put on medication cause my BP would not go down and my heart rate was way to high.. the medication made me feel so horrible i was always about to faint.. I just cant imagine feeling that way being pregnant taking care of 2 three year olds..
Anyways, that got really long.. Have any of you taken blood pressure medication when pregnant? Did your dr try other things first? what is your view on this?
Please dont respond with "dr knows best" I’m sorry I do not feel that is always the case so please do not waste your time..
Also I am going to a MFM dr, who was the dr i also seen when i was pregnant with my twins, he is going to review my blood pressure issue and I also have a kidney problem (brought on by pregnancy) that was debilitating my last pregnancy and it is coming back.. they could be linked, which my current dr even told me but didnt say that until after she was mad about me not filling the prescription.
my BP when she gave me the script was 137/86 then my last appointment when she got mad it was 140/90.. however like i said i have been taking it and it has not been high like that.
Also my kidney issue has nothing to due with high blood pressure.. but could cause high blood pressure..
Thanks everyone for the input.. glad to see I was not totally out of line

A researcher wishes to determine whether people with high blood pressure can reduce their blood pressure by following a particular diet. Subjects were randomly assigned to a treatment group and a control group. The mean blood pressure was determined for each group, and a 95% confidence interval for the difference in the mean for the treatment group and the control group, was found to be (-21, -6). A. We know that 95% of all people who follow the particular diet will have a blood pressure between 6 and 21 points lower than people who do not follow the diet.
B. With 95% confidence, people who follow the diet have an average blood pressure between 6 and 21 points higher than people who do not follow the diet.
C. With 95% confidence, people who follow the diet have an average blood pressure between 6 and 21 points lower than people who do not follow the diet.
D. We know that 95% of all experiments done on the population will show that the average blood pressure for people who follow the diet is between 6 and 21 points lower than the average blood pressure for people who do not follow the diet.
E. We are 95% confident that a randomly selected subject in the treatment group had a blood pressure between 6 and 21 points lower than a randomly selected subject in the control group.
I’m 18, south asian, and I’ll be on medication to control my high blood pressure. However, I’m also overweight. So, I was wondering that if I make a transition to a healthier lifestyle while taking the medication, is there anyway I could be off my medication in the future?
I am 28, played college basketball, when I was 26 diagnosed with high blood pressure and told to get on meds (don’t know how this happened) Im 6′1 and could dunk before got on meds. Now it seems like I can barely run fast and can barely touch the rim now. Is this a side effect of meds and if so what could I do about it?
i was preeclamptic during my pregnancy and had extremely high blood pressure. it was almost 4 weeks ago that i had my baby and i still have high blood pressure so my doctor put me on blood pressure medication. my question is, what if my blood pressure suddenly goes back to normal with out me knowing? will my blood pressure go super low and be potentially harmful? i don’t know anything about all this.
thanks so much for your help!
Duration of treatment for high blood pressure
And starting today I noticed something and I’m trying to figure out whether it’s the medication or not. After closing my eyes for a few minutes I re-opened them and everything in the the room had a green color like someone had spray painted everything in the room green. It went away after about 5-10 seconds. Anyone ever hear of high blood pressure medication having these kind of side effects?
Is there any natural method/treatment that is effective, clinically proven to reduce blood pressure?
Specifically, stage 1 hypertension. Please cite references. Thanks.
Actually, I exercise a lot–an hour a day of running. Doctor says that’s why my heart rate is so low–49BPM, and that that’s a "fit" indicator, but my BP is in the pre-hypertention/stage 1 area: 128/79 – 141/87. So, I have exercise, and pretty much, diet covered. I eat little to no meat, plenty of tofu and fatty fish, such as tuna and salmon, and at least 1 serving of fruits and vegetables daily.
Red Yeast Rice treats cholesterol, not high blood pressure.
Such as ill tempered (short fused) and easily tired.
Mine is usually spot on 125/80 but today it was 151/81. Not a hypocondriac but I haven’t been feeling myself lately. I feel like I’m constantly ready for a nap, even when I haven’t been doing much of anything.
I was just curious to hear from those of you who may have high blood pressure if you can tell when your pressure is up, just by the way you feel. Thanks.
i had twin girls on june 5, 2008. when i was 34 weeks pregnant i was diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension. well, yesterday i went to the doctor and i found out that now i have high blood pressure and i was put on medication. i was reading the warnings about the medicine and it said that it was fatal to fetuses. we want another child in a couple years, so naturally i am worried. since i will be off of the medicine, what are the risks and complications of a pregnancy that starts off with high blood pressure? thanks.
I have been perscribed lisinopril for high blood pressure, and it is only 10 mg tablets and on the container it says that it may cause dizziness and not to drive a car or operate machinery until you become familiar with its effects. I work a job that involves operating machinery.
Is it credible information? that by pouring hundreds of bedbugs on the bed of high blood person it can cure / reduce the high blood pressure problem of his /her body.
My mother has high blood pressure, but does not like taking pills, so she is only taking her blood pressure pills when she feels she needs them and not every day. Is it harmfull to do this?
I have had normal blood pressure this whole time. Now, at 40 weeks, I had high blood pressure that my Dr. seemed pretty concerned about. I am doing a 24 hour urine analysis and then having blood work and a non stress test and an ultrasound on friday (i will be 40 weeks, 1 day) what causes high blood pressure in late pregnancy, and what are the effects on both mom and baby?
i forgot to add that my blood pressure today was 188/something! i cant remember the bottom number…….
I looked up in a book what kind of headache I’ve been experiencing based on the symptoms, and it looks like a hypertension headache. It didn’t even sound like any other headache listed. I understand this means high blood pressure, but I was wondering… saving myself a trip to a doctor, how can I diagnose this myself?
I’m thinking I’d have to buy a blood pressure monitor, and take regular readings… totally doable. That would be better than making an appointment, waiting 2 weeks, and paying a co-pay to have him tell me to do that.
What I’m looking for from you is a website giving information on self-diagnosis of hypertension, and treatment options. At what point should I see a doctor? Etc.
Thank you
I want to talk to my doctor about my persistent cough. (I have cough asthma) and he doesn’t really take time to really think out treatment plans. I want to go in armed with suggestions as to what meds I can take. . . I also have high blood pressure, so I think this limits me. . . this is just to get me feeling okay. . . then I will be going to an allergist for long term control. Thanks!
I’ve been taking high blood pressure medication for about 4 months. My blood pressure has come back down to normal on the medications, but I still hear the "thumping" of my heartbeat in my ears. Does anyone else have this problem? Hoping it’s not just me… my doctor doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but I was just curious to see if anyone else has experienced it.

I am currently 28 weeks pregnant, during the duration of my pregnancy, my blood pressure has been around 150/90. Between weeks 18-26 it had settled down to 130/80, but this last week it rose back up to 150/90. I do have several back injuries (a fracture and a few ruptured discs), which may cause the high blood pressure, I just don’t understand why I haven’t been put on any bp medication. Does anyone know what the case may be?
my mom has started with severe coughs 6 months after going on high blood pressure medication… A friend told me that she had this happen after 1 year on the high blood pressure medication and upon stopping the medication, the cough stopped.

Maybe a good reference book for treatment of Type 2 Diabetes/High Blood Pressure?
I regularly check my blood pressure and recently, my blood pressure has been at the range from Prehypertension to Stage 1 Hypertension. I had a detailed physical exam a couple of weeks ago, and the doctor said it had nothing to do with what I ate. Not to mention, I eat VERY healthy. I eat mostly fruits and vegetables, very little meat, and almost no junk food at all (I’m not overweight/obese) either.
People have told me to "watch my diet," but as I’ve mentioned, I eat very healthy, and it has almost nothing to do with what I eat. So at this point, we are all assuming that my high blood pressure is caused by a series of stress from school, family, and friends–making it so I also lack sleep at the same time. I know "getting more sleep" is obviously a helpful treatment, but I’m looking for some more advice from health experts.
Is there any way I can treat this (i.e. meditation, more exercise, etc.)? Any other facts or advice related to high blood pressure are also welcome! Thank you!
Thanks to the people who have answered this question so far. But please, if you’re not going to read the details of this question, at least read the title of the question. I am looking for DRUG-FREE treatment…not pills or any kind of medication.

I am taking a high blood pressure medication, and it seems/appears that since I have been taking the medication I have had headaches all over, dizziness/light headedness, numbness in parts my face, as well as a stiff neck. These symptoms arent consisently there, maybe 1-2 times a day for an hour or so. Can a high blood pressure medication cause such or is this some unrelated condition that I should seek out?
Is a raw vegan diet healthful over a long period of time, especially with diabetes and high blood pressure? I am trying to switch to a raw vegan diet, but my dietitian insists it is not healthful. Has anybody here tried it long-term, or know anybody who has? I’m wanting to lose a lot of weight, and I’ve been making a lot of salads, with cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, green bell peppers, celery, onions, carrots … and then I pour on a bunch of vinegar and lemon juice. It’s tasty, nutritious, and very low-calorie. It seems to be working for me, but my dietitian isn’t happy. And I didn’t even tell you what my primary care physician thinks about my decision to quit all my diabetes and blood pressure medications and just rely on a raw vegan diet instead of the meds … except that I’m going to have to find another primary care physician.
My mom is in the hospital. Some of her symptoms include:

I have hypertension and I’m on medication which along with watching certain dietary items controls it nicely. I know the things that cause high blood pressure and try to stay away from them, however sometimes I know it is up and was wondering if there is anything you can do to knock it back down. If there are so many things that instantly raise it, it seems like there should also be things that would instantly lower it.
I have heard that once you start taking high Blood Pressure medication that you have to stay on it for he rest of your life even if you improve your condition, is that true ???

Is there any non-pharmeceutical treatments available?
Fact – Pharmeceutical high blood pressure treatments just treat the symptom not the cause.
Opinion – A life long pill to treat the symptoms is unacceptable!
What causes the condition?.
Is it a reversable condition?
I work with a lady who has had high blood pressure for years. Last week, she had, what they diagnosed as Bells Palsy – and per her on medication for her high blood pressure. Today our boss took her blood pressure and it is 160/100. I’d be running to a doctor – what do you think ?

I have had fatigue, constant neck pain and headaches, blurred vision, and overall have just felt so horrible almost every day that I can barely get through the day. I have had fleeting chest pains the past couple of days. The other symptoms have been going on for several months. I did an internet search and the only thing that seemed to match is high blood pressure. I haven’t had it checked lately because I don’t have insurance and have not been to the doctor. I also have type 1 diabetes. (I am 26)

Im 26 years old and i started taking amlor 10mg for hypertension since I feel high blood pressure symptoms (started one month before). My dad has high blood pressure and was prescribed some medication to lower it. He has to keep taking it for as long as his doctor tells him it’s ok to stop but his medication (Tarka) is pretty expensive and sometimes he can’t afford it so he just stops taking it. I worry that something might happen to him when he does this. Does anyone know where I can find Tarka for less (he currently pays for a 30 day supply of Tarka 2/240mg) or do you know of a natural way to lower blood pressure?
