My twins are going to be four in july. I breast fed them exclusivly for 6 mo, then my supply couldnt keep up with the demand. They liked formula better, so i quit. sad thing is, I have never dried up. I still make milk, it expresses very easily…when I do self breat exams it will come out..my boobs are sore all the time, and I have had a biospy done on a breast lump 6 years ago, it was just fibrocystic breast lumps…but this is obnoxious..I hurt all the time. I cant play rough with the kids, or let them cuddle too much, b/c the boobs dont like to be touched. severe pain. normal activity doesnt hurt, but should I be worried? I mean, Im 23, in relatively good health, but with high blood pressure. I also have no insurance and no doctor…what do I do? just ignore it like I have been? Like my bp?
ok, now Im a little worried. what is wrong with still making milk? I mean what are the health risks associated with this?

I have twins. they are almost four. I breast fed for six months, and just couldnt keep up with the demand. So, I quit. Turns out, they liked formula better, and kept it down longer. (they had acid reflux since they were so preemie.) But thing is, I still make milk. I dont try to excrete it, but when I give my self exams, with my arms above my head all I have to do is gently push the area around my nipples and it pours, sometimes even squirts out. Is this healthy? They also hurt all the time, no matter where I am in my cycle, and the pain is bad. I have lumps, but 6 yrs ago I had a biopsy, just fibrocystic lumps. But no health insurance, no dr. just making milk, and painful breasts. also have high blood pressure. any link? and is this harmful to my health? (i know the untreated bp is, but what about the milk? )

I am considering getting a life insurance policy through State Farm where they have different rates depending on the results of a physical that must be performed. The agent is not able to tell me but I would like to know what the criteria is for qualifying for the preferred and super preferred rates.

BMI? (body mass index)
blood pressure?
cholesterol level?

My objective is to find out if I qualify now and if not but am close I could work on improving my health over the next few months through diet and exercise.

I realize that the criteria will vary based on age, sex, height, etc. but there must be some table, chart or formula they use to determine what rate you qualify for.

My husband recently visited an allergist and discovered he is very allergic to dust mites and outdoor weeds. He received a sample of Nasacort and used it all up; it didn’t totally cure his symptoms but definitely improved them a bit. When we took his prescription in to Walgreen’s to have it filled, it was nearly after our insurance discount – not in our budget. My husband has high blood pressure and controls it with medication; that being said, can anyone recommend something that may be effective for his allergies that we can purchase over the counter? Thank you for your time.

well i have pcos i have the acne and hair on my chin my period is not to irregular just comes a few days late or early every month, not to bad. But the doctor wants to give me birth control pills now i have taken those before and they worked well, but now that my insurance will only let me get generics and they do not seem to work the same. Now i have heard about the benefits of taking the pill but i have also been hearing that htey can cause heart problems and strokes my father died of heart problems and also had a stroke and high blood pressure, my blood pressure only goes high occasionaly it is not high all the time. So my question is do i take the birth control pills and the meds for high blood pressure even though i hate medicine and prefer naturla cures. Please do not give me medical advice or tell me to see a doctor. I know what Hypertension is and what causes it. I am asking this question for a friend who WILL NOT go to the doctor, because he does not have a job or insurance. I want to try and help him.

My blood pressure is 190 over 121. I need to bring it down. I don’t have insurance or medication. I need a overnight home remedy.

i have high blood pressure and no doctor to help me with this potential health risk. I’m currently on mediaction but I am nursing my baby. I am on Labatoral at the moment. But my prescription is about to run out. I need to find someone who can help me or offer low cost doctor visits in the Bend OR area. Were in the process of trying to get medical insurance. But, I don’t have a current doctor. What can I do?

I am w/o insurance for a few months and my usual medicine is a FORTUNE w/o insurance. Does anyone have any good name brands or home remedies?

Thank you for your help.

I know there are a lot of options, I have insurance, but I’m trying to anticipate the impact on my budget! What do you pay for the meds? Do you know what they cost?

Lifestyle change is not an option for treatment. Not overweight, good diet, gym workout daily, treadmill 4+ miles daily, cholesterol, sodium, potassium levels fine. It’s genetic, so meds are the option. I’m averaging 148/100, peaking at 168/110.

Bums me out because I’m been 115/70 forever. This symptoms just started a couple of months ago but I did not see a doc until last week. High bp never occurred to me!

My mother was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma a few weeks ago, she has an 11.6 centimeter mass on her left kidney. She was hospitalized last weekend because they gave her morphine for pain, it dropped her blood pressure extemely low. That is when we found out the cancer had spread to other organs (liver, pancreas, lymph nodes and stomach) the doctors said she would only make it a few weeks to a month. That is when I looked into this cancer center, her insurance has been approved and they want to schedule her flight asap. I just want to know if anyone out there has had good results with ctca? I have a friend who goes with her mother who had breast cancer metasis to her liver and bone who goes to ctca and she said they were great. Are they as wonderful as my friends mom says?
My mom is also doing better now, she’s home from the hospital and she’s not as weeks and she’s eating . My mom says she’s ready to fight this.

My cousin recently told me that his mother at the age of 60, and unemployed, was turned down for health insurance some years back, because one of the first questions the agent she was applying with asked, "Do you have high blood pressure?" When she said yes, the agent said they could not cover her due to the condition. She was of course, not old enough for Medicare, so she was without medical insurance until she could get Medicare. That lack of health insurance ended up being the death of her, because she was not able to affordable treatment on her own and by the time she did have Medicare and a supplement, her serious condition had progressed to the critical stage. How sad. Her husband 65, was already drawing Medicare with AARP as a supplement. He was unable to continue paying the extremely high premiums of the company insurance he had at his job, once he retired. Anyone with a similiar situation, or know someone this has happened to?
This incident happened over 15 yrs ago.

How safe it is to go for dental treatment with dental student in dental school?I don’t have dental insurance and I am going to start dental treatment from next thursday. Is there any risk involved?I am older and close to 50 with High Blood pressure(Taking Diovan HCT everyday to control it)

I have had fatigue, constant neck pain and headaches, blurred vision, and overall have just felt so horrible almost every day that I can barely get through the day. I have had fleeting chest pains the past couple of days. The other symptoms have been going on for several months. I did an internet search and the only thing that seemed to match is high blood pressure. I haven’t had it checked lately because I don’t have insurance and have not been to the doctor. I also have type 1 diabetes. (I am 26)

I have no insurance and can’t afford the crazy money pit of doctors and perscriptions anymore. there must be a way for me to manage my hypertension and anxiety myself.
I am not over weight and exercise regularly. I am 42 years old and have always been in good physical condition. I don’t eat alot of salt at all.
I know about exercise and diet. Again, does anyone know of a homeopathic treatment?

I have somewhat high blood pressure right on the edge of being stage one hypertension. I don’t want to take medication because A.) I don’t have insurance at the moment and B.) Blood pressure medication is bad for the liver.

So the question is: how can I lower my blood pressure without using medication? Thanks!
