My father takes lotrel 1020 (he said 1020 I don’t know what that means) but is getting a cold. Can he take zicam cold remedy plus without it affecting his blood pressure? He had a really bad reaction with cold medicine years ago when he didn’t know that some cold meds affect his high blood pressure meds. Thanks!

One of the listed side effects of Lotrel is swelling in the throat. Can someone tell me how it causes it? Specifically, i have a lump in my throat and i can connect it to the beginning of my blood pressure treatment with lotrel. Any thoughts?
