I’m not here to ask you to try and change someone’s mind, just what would happen medically ?
A Male, 16 years old. No previous medical conditions other than Asthma and Nut allergy.
Now, since last year has developed ( i dont know what word to use) Anorexia Nervosa with Bulimic Tendacies. He begins to dislike food a lot, as he doesnt like the idea of gaining weight, if ever he gains a few pounds when he checks each morning, he tends to fast the next day (Read more to understand this part) He takes Caffeine tablets to keep his metabolism fairly high thus high heart rate and loses some weight. However gets frequent headaches so takes paracetamol regularly also. He is not dangerously low, he is 6foot 2 and weight 62-65KG.
3 days ago, he checked his scales, put on a few pounds, decided to eat less than normal, then the next day takes 2 caffeine tablets (had 300mg day before) and 2 anti histamine (He is very cautious). He took the caffeine as he THOUGHT it was going to keep him awake, it kind of did the opposite. This had never happened to him before. When in college, he felt a little bit dizzy and nauseous, he takes 2 more caffeine and 2 more anti histamines, he thinks it could be his allergy (it isnt). As it had never happened before, he thought it was his allergy. That person had Severe abdominal cramps that day, worse than usual hunger, but ignored it. 15 Mins after taking the last caffeine tablets, He Crashed.
Went all dizzy, Blacked out, Hearing went, then Feinted. He wakes up 8 seconds later and sees everyone staring at him, at this moment it appears to be a dream, like did that really happen? Then the first aider takes him outside, the Lad tries to be sick, but only vomits back up his Anti histamine pill, as he has empty stomach. Lies down for a few minutes, is feeling slightly better, carries on the rest of his day. No hospital, nothing. Then looks on the internet. Hypoglycaemic SHOCK matched perfectly, low blood pressure. Also to note, he apparently was Convulsing, which seemed strange, thats what 3 people said, although it wasnt bad, just mild. He then gets very worried, and finds a cure for the fainting.
GLUCOSE tablets, lucozade to be more precise, it would keep him from fainting as his levels would be raised, and back to normal even though he never ate that much. Neuroglycopenia also, matched perfectly. He inst Diabetic or Epileptic.

What to expect from the future ? Anything else ? Fainting can be stopped and prevented, Seizures ? Not likely. Im talking short term here. Anything?
