Traditional remedies and cures that work?
What natural/traditional remedies do you know and use that work?
me- ginger for colds
basil and garlic for high blood pressure
dock leaves for skin irritations
cloves for mouth ulcers and toothache
rooibos and buchu for flu.
Any others….?

Mint leaves or mint tea for heartburn and upset tummy. Aloe juice for sunburn and small scratches. Milk from from fig trees to get rid of warts or moles.
Make pasta from sunlight soap and sugar and put it on the boil or infected area – it will extract the infection
For tight chest or asthma steam and inhale cinnamon while covering your head
For a headache, rub your ears

Congee for fevers, but it might just be easier to eat when you are dazed.
.Never visited a doctor as a child. Used all the remedies you mentioned.
We had Dutch ,Indian , African remedies growing up.
Now I am based in Asia I use Chinese or Japanese remedies for my cold or flu.
