What can be done to raise blood pressure/what are the causes of low blood pressure?
My nurse today checked my blood pressure and it was cosiderably low. Just below the average though, not servere! I would like to know, what can I do to perhaps raise it a bit (I feel tired all the time etc) and what are the causes of blood pressure (I could do the opposite of these causes to perhaps increase my blood pressure).
Help appreciated! thanks! : )

If the doctor wasn’t concerned then you shouldn’t worry about it. Some people, like myself, have low blood pressure. As far as being tired, talk to your doctor. It could be a number of things which doesn’t necessarily have to do with your blood pressure. Good Luck!
Exercise lots of exercise can raise it, and well idk what can lower it.
What you need to do depends on the cause. Low BP can be caused by a heart defect such as a leaky valve, low pulse rate, or abnormal rhythm, thyroid or neurological problems, or sometimes the cause can’t be determined. If you are feeling fatigued, the cells in your body are not getting enough your blood. It’s a little risky doing things to raise your BP if you don’t know the cause since the wrong approach to raising it can make things worse.
You should probably have a follow-up visit with your doc to find out what’s going on. At a minimum, you should have a complete blood test panel and and ECG of your heart.
