What is a cheap easy way i can get my mother to stop smoking?

My mother has been smoking 15+ yrs, shes tried those patches but didnt work, i heard of several things, but i dont have money for all these expensive things. is there anything you can recommend?

Tell her you want her to see your children grow up and have a grandma around. I have seen people stop cold turkey after a life changing experience. Heart attack, stroke etc. but I don’t recommend those. She is in denial that she is slowly killing herself.

I quit by using chantix. You have to get a prescription for it from the Dr though.
