ok don’t bye then have people flush them down the tolit and tont be afraid its ok u can do it
Either stop cold turkey or buy a pack of cigarettes that you do not like. Everytime you smoke, you will think about stopping smoking. While you do this, stay away from anybody else that smokes, sometimes smokers are very rude, they do not care that you are trying to stop smoking, they will tell you anything to keep you smoking.
So, get a pack of nasty cigarettes…….but remember, you, yourself must want to stop smoking or it isn’t even going to work, it takes a strong will to stop an addictive problem. Be strong, good luck.
The very first step is to really truely want to quit! You can try all of those cessation aids but nothing will work unless you really want to quit. Everyone in my family (except me and my husband and child) smoke! They have all tried different things but have come to the conclusion that you won’t ever quit until you are 110% commited to quiting. So ppick what ever aid you feel the most comfortable with, patches , gum, lozenges, shots, cd’s or hypnosis and stick with it!
I used the nicotene patches and haven’t had a cigarette in over 2 years. But no matter what method you try, none of them will work unless you want to quit. There are no magic potions.
By throwing water over the fire.
The patch.
I tried about 4 times with patches but I craved them so bad I used to pull off the patches and smoke anyway. Now we can’t smoke at work anymore and I don’t go outside with my colleagues and only smoke at home. This has decreased my smoking by at least half!
by putting the cigarette down.
only u urself can do it, preserverance tat’s d answer!
If you don’t want to smoke – don’t smoke!
It may sound flippant but it works.
Hi. Good question. You’ve taken the first step.
Most addiction to nicotine is physiological. This means that your body LITERALLY tells you that you need more nicotine. The best way to stop and reduce the risk of relapse is to use a nicotine substitute (eg patches). The patches actually release low dose nicotine into your bloodstream to eliminate the craving one feels for a smoke. Smoking is not addictive becasue of the action of raising the cigarette to your face, but by your body becoming dependent on the nicotine for normal function.
Best of luck in your quest.
