well after only 1.5 yrs of smoking i just quit …..its a hard move but i just went cold turkey ……i had a chronic chough and 3 days after i stop it went away …..so it was worth it
chew some gum
use hard candy…..try a new activity
i find once im bored and not active i use to smoke a lot
also move away from those who smoke also it helps ….change the crowd u hang out with for a bit till u quit
When you figure it out, please let me know. I would love to quit myself.
I wish I knew. I’d love to quit.
it varies for everyone. some have to go on the patch, some can do it cold turkey, some just need the help and support from their friends..some take medication for it…it really all depends on you
Find something to replace the cigarettes,,,like a clitoris or a penis, depending on your liking.
Just Leave lt!!!
the simplest way
Cold turkey. You can only stop smoking when YOU really want to stop smoking.
Give yourself a pat on the back for trying to stop. Get some support. Go the Kroger and get some gum that eats away cravings for nicotine.
get a patch and surrond yuorself with people who dont smoke. Find a new addicting hobby.
Quit buying cigarettes! This is an issue of mind over matter. Are you going to let an expensive habit control you? I don’t see why people can’t just throw their pack away and never look back. I did!
my grandpa was a heavy smoker and when he wanted to quit smoking, he said that he would always have small candies around like peppermints or something of that sort so when he got the urge for a cigarette, he would eat a candy and eventually he stopped the smoking…
When you are broke or sick.
I did the patch and had the side effects of vivid dreams so I had to stop taking the patch after a week of those dreams and not sleeping due to the dreams.
Keep your hands busy! Stay away from other smokers! Chew gum or eat sugar free hard candy!
Best of luck to you!
If the Lord should strike me dead, this is the truth. I asked God to take the desire for liquor & cigarettes away , and it happened. Now, it’s like I never drank or smoked. This is since 1998 ! God’s Truth !
My husband, a heavy smoker, is using the new drug Chentex prescribed by his Dr…(unsure if I’m spelling that correctly)…so far, so good..we have heard from friends and our pharmacist that this stuff is fabulous….
I am a very light smoker, and am doing great on the nictotine gum…(MUCH better than the patch!)….because I can control how much (or little) nicotine I put in my system…
Good luck…it’s tough, I know…
I was a smoker for 25 years and I had quit smoking for over six times ,but never really quit smoking before.Just after I read that quit smoking program, I realized how easy quitting smoking was.I am a non-smoker now! I highly recommend this program to you.It really works. You can check out http://quit-smoking-in-3-hours.info
Good luck!
